additionally for the gb punish: with haymaker active you can go for two punches, throw, input gb directly after the throw to go for a kick and then light. im not exactly sure if the kick is guaranteed but i myself couldnt dodge it once, so either the dodgetiming is very slim or i just suck at dodging, but if it is, this will be stamina damage + 37 damage with haymaker.
Does anyone know what the best move to use when you knock an OOS opponent down with charged jab but don't want to give them full stamina back is? Or is it pretty much the same as the parrying and throws?
Can't believe the parry counter has the STUPIDLY tight input window still. Its just like Shugoki's DE recovery, Ubisoft did AMAZING on these reworks but they somehow miss these glaring issues
Awesome, mate, as usual ! I was wondering if we could have a review of all the common gank setups with various characters. But this may take a lot of time that you probably don't have... For example I didn't try yet if it's possible with Kensei to side heavy on top of kick+light, then Kensei's combo light into top heavy finisher when the ennemy falls on the ground. Then Cent Eagle's Talon into heavy side heavy opener of Kensei. Actually the last heavy isn't even needed for most characters cus they should already be dead! :D EDIT : I forgot Kensei doesn't have enhanced lights so it would only work if the enemy doesn't block. Another option then is to do it like you showed for LB : top heavy to confirm jab, top heavy when enemy is flying, eagle's talon, top heavy finisher . That's already 127 on it's own...
haymaker is still a wonderful feat, cents march is only good in extremely specific situations. Outside of that, you should be watching your stamina to not go oos
TrainsAreCool haymaker is arguably the best t2 since jab is no longer a meme and can actually come into play quite often, and there is rarely, if ever an instance where you should be running cent’s march. It is a new feeling, being able to press buttons with cent, but once you get over your excitement you should find 160 stamina to be quite plenty

He should get a guaranteed light punch for any charged heavy, more gb vulnerbility on his charged heavies like kensei, and above all a dodge attack where he might dpin around a distance to the side and do the first swipe of his zone. Hes too reliant on getting guardbreaks.
What still really makes me mad is that we still can't knock down Shugo with his tier 2 feat. Jorm can still get his on shugo but we arent allowed to still.

I once had a cent charged heavy confirm another cent's on me. Due to the follow up pin I got hit by a charged punch into eagle's talon. On one hand they were both the unlockable so the timing on their part was pretty good... On the other I got killed by the equivalent of a single heavy at ram so.... Yea..... On the ‘parry, delayed light, delayed charged heavy then jab mixup’ why do you have to delay the light and stuff, coz it worked without delaying anything and the damage was all the same
Also if you go for a fully charged jab and you land it (or feint to gb then throw) you can do a wiff light then a heavy into jab mixup, this also means their stam won’t come back straight after eagle’s talons
If you make the right prediction on whether to let your fully charged jab fly or whether to fein to gb you could get 112 damage which is pretty insane and insa kills shinobi
Nothing, it just lets you safely charge jab without being interrupted And you can, it just isn’t guaranteed unless you wallsplat, when you would charge your jab anyway
So, what's the idea behind nerfing stamina damage and then giving him a free 65 stamina drain on a GB? Isn't that a little extreme? I don't want to go all "hurr durr, clearly he is OP hurr durr", but 50% stamina drain is even more than pre-nerf Jorm did, a character all about doing stamina damage to your opponent. I genuinely want to know if there's a conscious design decision behind it or if they just wanted him to do a shit ton of stamina damage on his GB.
I noticed that when the timing is right you’ll see the red indicator flash before the parry animation starts. Look at freeze’s right hip you’ll see a red flash thats when the timing is right. As far as getting that timing down i found out that i just need to let go of the lock button as i press the parry button I practice the timing by trying to be earlier where id get the oos attack land on me until eventually i got pretty consistent . I also stare for that parry flash to make sure i get the earliest timing and after i noticed that i have been able to get it consistently. Just watch for that red flash and if you mess up the timing in live game you can react quick enough to do the light charged jab punish so you still get decent damage also make sure when you eventually get the heavy that you dont try and delay the jab immediately charge the jab after heavy

Warlord is already an amazing character that can do a lot more than headbutt (under the assumption your opponent isn’t turtling) cause he has loads of frame advantage and good hyperarmor Although, if we tuned some of what he has down, I don’t see this as a bad change

I'm not sure if you can do it every time, but sometimes on parries and throws you can get two heavies, and probably a heavy into charged heavy.

I've seen Faraam do Light -> Heavy combo punish on Revenge proc. Less recovery frames and I believe the same damage as a Revenge Eagle Talons.

TrainsAreCool just off a gb wall splay you get 15 damage from hay maker and 30 from charged heavy so you do crazy ass damage with it

The gb os punish does not work anymore. All you can get is a light or eagles talon
