I feel like walking slowly towards your opponent was always a requirement for high level lawbringer play. I mean it’s nice your lights will hit when you do it now too
I mean the lights are for close quarters fighting, if anything it shows more versatility since you're opponent can't just close the gap and fuck you over in the context of irl. And in game literally just walk forward if you need I to connect, the option to wiff by back stepping adds to versatility in it's own right..... If only we had full chains.... Eh, at least shove is not obnoxious for once by now, like as a lb main both the on block and hyper armor shove were just obnoxious to fight and boreing in play.
Mixing between that side third heavy and a shove will mean that if they dodge early to avoid the shove, you guarantee a buffered side unblockable, if they don’t dodge early you land shove, and if they’re OOS they can’t punish your shove anyways. If they don’t dodge early and you do the third heavy, you still have the feint into parry/GB to fall back on, or just letting it fly.
ALL LAWBRINGER MAINS: At 3:23 if you longarm someone then throw side heavy, shove as predict for safety but you WHIFF the shove (or predict that they'll dodge the immediate shove as well) then with this prediction you can follow up with a completely safe light attack to damage the enemy, stop most of their counters for trying to counter you (except for another Lawbringer shove so be careful) after you whiff a shove, and throw off their momentum while continuing your own. You're welcome 😋✌😄😉
@@MixedReadings only long arms I've managed to pull and be successful is when I back Dodge and see if I can predict an attack coming and ether catch the enemy before the attack hits or cause him to miss..
@@leventeacs8606 We don't need to add more softfeints into this game. My solution would be to give the long arm hyperarmor AND the ability to ignore enemy hyperarmor. That way you could whiff punish those pesky zerks and gokis.
LRed13 I dont remember the last time I was longarmed but if you say this as a lawdaddy main I accept it. It just that almost everyone have SFs even on good moves I think he should be able to iniciate a bit. I get that he is a counter attacker at his core but one move couldnt hurt.

I just don't want to use another character that relies on bash feints. Before Shugoki's rework my favourite thing to do was to bait an attack, and then just go into it with a hug. You could practically hear the "i'm fucked" from your opponent.
If you wanna get an extra 5 damage in when you parry an opponent who is out of stamina: Do the Zone as soon as you parry, then you can quickly do a guranteed top heavy with even a guranteed execution if the opponent is that low.
Freeze please read I think Hitokiri has damage reduction problems (as far as DEALING damage) when ganking. Can you please confirm this? Her attacks do not seem to get reduced when ganking like every other hero in this game. Makes playing against a few of them very frustrating. Appreciate it
The problem with valks low damage is that it takes them so loooong for them to kill you you can learn their mind games and strategies in the first encounter. I’m in a glass house as a musha main, as soon as my opponent works out my mind games my whole game falls apart. But at least I do enough damage to kill them before they figure me out. Valk gets no love.

So my statement, and also my statements for Raider, make complete sense when looking at the bigger picture. But people somehow think I shat on their dog for saying these things.
Another tip, You can get a long arm after you impale someone and get a wall splat. (which is either style points or good in dom and drains more stamina)
Not really worth it anymore since both impale and longarm can be interrupted. Only way I see it being useful still is if your teammates needed the extra 2 seconds to reposition. Otherwise You'd just be buying the enemy time for his team to show up.
As a Rep 42 Lawbringer main in my opinion, the best punish off a heavy parry (when there is no wall splat available) is light to concuss them and then throw a second chained light off the concussion in another direction. The 2nd one is not guaranteed but its very likely to hit because of its speed and the fact that they are concussed so they can't see clearly
From what I’ve tested with lawbringer not too long ago, if you do a light repost into top light after parrying a side heavy against any characters, the followup light is guaranteed, giving him a 35 damage punish.
My fav out of Stam punish is top heavy side light unblockable heavy left feint it because you can parry it they will try to parry, parry that then do the top heavy unblock with added free light it’s like 90-100 Damage

OOS throws with double top heavies are my bread and butter in tanked duels, but for some reason I did a ranked today, and my throws threw the opponent halfway across the arena, and I could only land one heavy. Just a fluke, or am I missing something?
Always great content Freeze, love your videos. I'm glad that there's so many people enjoying Lawbringer's rework but I'm sad it's all for the wrong reasons. As an LB main from day one of the games release I'm heartbroken at what the devs considered best for improvements, it doesn't match what a Lawbringer stood for and merely adopts the light spam meta while castrating what used to be a formidable character in the right hands. Hope Ubi takes some more time to make him as great as he used to be. Until then, Raider will be Ubi's favorite and LB will keep getting worse as his kit currently is only doing well because people haven't had enough time to get used to it. After that, well... He'll be back to the low side of the tier list. Hopefully one day I can return to this game and have fun with my favorite hero again. Rest in peace, a once powerful and prestigious warrior, may justice be brought to you in the future, and once more the law prevail against these infidels...
I have a question, can the top unblockable after a light parry be dodged, because I have had 2 separate people dodge away from mine. Could be a glitch or maybe I had bad timing, not sure if anyone else has experienced this.
first one ist guaranteed second one can be blocked or parried, but it comes out really fast and your opponent is stunned from the first light, so its hit 95% of the time
If your opponent has stam throw a side one, its enhanced so you can continue to combo even if its blocked. If they're oos the top light is faster but isn't enhanced so I only use it for oos pressure
What I do is light to the left then heavy cancel the heavy then when they try to parry my heavy I do a light on any side for two quick light attacks but I did learn from this video so nice tips 👍
Just putting this out there: The top unblockable mentioned in 1:15 is not guaranteed to hit after the parry and is very much parryable. They can counter your counter and it's complete bullshit. I know from experience. That's probably why it's doing 50 damage and not something more reasonable, because it's still an independent risk-taking attack.
About what in particular? That the attack can be parried, that it's bs how I can have my counterattack counterattacked, or my theory on why ubisoft has it doing 50 damage?

It doesn't have that much range either and sometimes glitched right through the target dealing no damage. Side counter too, but much less likely. It's very much parryable. Sometimes I really wonder if youtubers and people on the internet play the same game as me.

For the OOS GB throw, I recommend doing a third heavy for the Ad Mortem, parry bait. Get an extra 55 damage if they fall for it.

When playing as lawbringer you need to be so close that oponent can smell your breath and feel your bulge
Watching those gank punishes is really satisfying
You can also do the top unblockable with that confirmed follow up light if you parry them while they are out of stamina.

The counter itself always hits on the same side I'm pretty sure but the second chained light after it can be a different direction
I'm pretty sure you have to change guard for it to be guranteed, haven't had anybody block the second light yet

That's not a guaranteed punish. Also they won't always try to parry it. Just go for the actual confirmed damage instead
