The problem with the rework is it didn’t address his main issue: no reasonable openers. It just gave him a better offensive chain, but getting into that chain was the part that needed help.
They removed stamina damage, blind confusion thing, the guarantee impale, nerfed damage everywhere, all for a light parry punish and a shitty hyper armor on your second heavy.

Don’t know why they didn’t just give him a light-light-heavy chain to help make his neutral game a little less predictable because he still suffers from the same problem he’s always had where you know he can only throw a heavy after a light
His lackluster pressure was what made him unique, and what made up for him having strong parry punishes. Having definable strengths and weaknesses is what makes characters feel unique. I liked the challenge of having to throw at least one heavy to get to the chain finisher. There was strategy there that wasn't found in any other hero. Maybe you didn't like that, and Havok didn't like that clearly, but that doesn't make it bad or "unhealthy." And the whole reason it was rebalanced was because of how strong it was in ranked duels at the top 0.1%. Games should never balance for the top 0.1% of players because it just results in everyone being variations of the same 3 characters.
@@51TD0wN i gotta say as a rep 70 LB main the impale was way too strong they could've just reworked it so it doenst stun and drain half of ur stamina for example, make it the same range as warmonger and the same mechanic too maybe because no one is complaining about WM having 30dmg of a heavy parry, and also would've liked if they kept the stun on the parry riposte instead of instantly giving him a unblockable to work it. @@silverbashspam9701actually a lot of people complain about warmongers impale, because it is very unhealthy as a heavy parry punish, but that’s why they should just reduce the damage, with lawbringer they just decided to completely gut the move to the point that there is no reason to use it unless there’s a ledge, because top heavy after a light parry will always be more damage
@@dimlumens haven't seen a person complain about WM impale when playing her, LB impale on the other hand almost everytime i play him, then again afeera gets 18 or 43 damage of a heavy parry and on top of that she has really strong offense so it makes no sense completley removing impale instead of just reworking it since LB offense has really mid offense at least from neutral

Now I deleted the game because I'm more of a reflex guy, not a reading guy, with I think a rep 26 LB.
I think the biggest problem with the rework is that they removed some oddities (like the blind and stamina damage) that made him feel like a heavy hitter, and all he really got in return was slightly better light combos, his longarm isn't *literally* unusable, and a soon to be gimped light parry punish? He still feels like "Lawbringer", just a less interesting version of it. He's still slow as fuck, terrible at chases/catching rolls, and still revolves around constant heavy feints. I know changing him too much would be a problem, but it barely feels like change. Just tweaked to be less of an asshole.
When you're an OG FH player, hearing a 38dmg light parry punish is "broken" when there were 45dmg originally (LB UB or Raider's Top Heby as example), it really hurts man!

I still hate lawbringer from the days after his first rework before the CCU... i played berserker. He guesses right one time on your 11 damage lights, and he could erase half your health bar with his 50 damage punish. It was so stupid. He killed you with like 3 reads and you needed to make 14 to kill him.
I dont get why they didnt give him two light chain to access his UB. It could have been so much better since that rework isnt so different from what he was before. There are some QOL improvements such as HA heavies, zone start chain and less stamina consumption and heavy confirm into UB. But lost all his parry punishes which affects him really bad. Still no roll catch. He needs two light chain, roll catcher and he'll be in a better spot.
That's what I've been saying. He doesn't need a full three string. Two would be just fine for LB. And as you say, a roll catcher on top of that would round out LB's moveset. As things currently stand, he still feels incomplete, lacking. Was excited for the rework, but after playing with it a bit, I may just go back to WM.
In dules he feels the same just gotta stare as him still tho sadly feels the same in both dules and team fights although in team fights he can’t really kill anyone unless he has help or makes every right read his dmg numbers feel weird but I like the chain pressure when I don’t get lighted out of it
I don't like the rework honestly i feel they for rid of 50 the rework that was posted but with that said i think they should patch the 38 but buff the normal damage of lawbringer by 2 points cant tell u how many times i have guard broke someone and did a have just for them to have 2 health left and pressure me with everything because i was limited on my kit

Reworked hero with the same problems and still is good at what he used to be good at so in a way, nothing has been changed, just can chain more. Now that impale is gone on LB, time to remove it from Warmonger but they wont do that 🙃
Been playing LB since season 1 after playing Holden in the campaign. With all the ups and downs he's had, this is probably his healthiest version rn. Don't forget we had shove on block just a few years ago. Then rapid-fire top-lights. I will agree on the fact that impale riposte on heavy was busted, especially in duels (on The Ring and Belvedere maps more specifically). As well as the removal of his stamina damage and stuns, though I will miss denting skulls with a flashbang attached to the hammer of the pole axe head. This version of LB feels good: 7.5/10.

Lawdaddy Childbringer is actually pretty dope to me now. His unhealthy stuff in gangs and on heavy parries is gone. But he got some DAMN great upgrades in his offensive combos. Still on a heavy parry he gets a fast counter light that goes into his armored heavy, so I actually can punish heavies now in antiganks and be a bit save after it. Or just use my UB zone after a parry. Light parry to his upper heavy goes straight into his string finisher mixup again or I can just ledge them when a cliff is a kilometer behind him. And longarm is actually usefull now. So I feel good about him.😊
After seeing the Jorm and Lawbro reworks and both of thier stamina damage got removed (needed to with how good the offense is now) I am worried that my BP will be reworked and also get his stam dmg removed and turned into an offensive character
Lawbringer is labeled as a counter attacker yet he's got worse counter attacks to many other hero's. Aside from the bugged light parry he's just not worth playing. He just needs some better flow honestly

The script allows people to parry all attacks (even feinted if using paid version), dodge all openers (shinobi's kicks, glad toestabs) parry unblockables, auto deflect, everything. It's virtually undetectable client side, so they can't do anything (anti cheat doesn't catch it). I found their discord server after some googling and there is a paid and free version of the script. Completely pointless to play anymore until this is dealt with, which it never will be. 7 year old game that has made whatever money it's going to make. I wouldn't put anymore time into this game.
I actually respectfully disagree about your take on the light parry damage. Lights are difficult to parry. So, I think it makes sense that they do a lot of damage. But who am I to say? I preferred the game pre-CCU lol.
I think the rework is fine. Of course the parry punish needs to be fixed and his OOS punishes are still rather high, but he feels less oppresive while still being a defensive powerhouse. With a couple small tweaks I think he'll be the hero he should've been a long time ago
The rework is trash like they toke away shove 😢. I like the combos and stuff but the shove 😢.. and that hyper armor is a nice add but the shove 😢.. making the shove a light parry thing toke away the parry top heavy unblockabke's satisfaction..now the shove is only nice when it's on a ledge

This is a main reason I stopped playing conk. Crushing counter heavy was so unique. It was hard to pull off but god when you did it felt so good.

Unblockable heavy after parry is 25 + the 13 light from the currently bugged guaranteed bash makes 38.

The rework is trash like they toke away shove 😢. I like the combos and stuff but the shove 😢.. and that hyper armor is a nice add but the shove 😢.. making the shove a light parry thing toke away the parry top heavy unblockabke's satisfaction..now the shove is only nice when it's on a ledge
