Here's a punish for all the other Jorms out there to use. It's never guaranteed but in my experience it is always successful. On a successful guard break, throw your opponent into a wall, but make sure the throw itself knocks them out of stamina so they don't fall down. Once they wall splat, get your guaranteed heavy (top for 30 dam) and chain into the unblockable heavy. Most opponents tend to dodge as soon as they can to get out of the corner, which confirms the unblockable to land. This is where a good player could parry you, but more often than not they will dodge early, or eat the heavy. Since they're OOS, you'll get the knockdown, confirming hammer slam. 110 damage. I've done it many, many times, and I've only ever been countered doing this once.
Thanks man for this tricky tip. I main jorm but I recognize that he has a limited set it's why I always try to find more "secret" moves (I never use oos bash). I will try and train on this wall combo, thanks again.
The reason you can't do a chain bash after a heavy but you can after a light on OOL seems to be because of the knockback range on the heavies, and the delay before the punch on the zone
Idk if anyone will see this comment, but my method of timing the oos punish is far simpler, and it works much better for me: look at the enemy's animation. Start the light right as the enemy's ass touches the ground. Works 99% of the time for me, far more reliably than the lock-on shenanigans
After an OOS guarb-break, if you throw the opponent forward there is no need to unlock and relock. As soon as the opponent is just about to hit the ground do the whiff light and then the unblockable. It doesn't matter from where the unblockable is coming from. Also there is a high damage combo between a Jorm and a BP. BP guard breaks an opponent and as soon as he goes for his side heavy...his Jorm teammate wiffs the light. At that time BP's side heavy hits and just after that jorm does his chain UB heavy in the direction of the BP...the opponent staggers then BP bulwark counters the stagger for 30 damage and then the jorm does his hammer slam and the total damage is A MASSSIVE 130+
You can use whatever means to time the delay. the unlock is just 1 possibility. And yes, I'm familiar with the BP Jorm combo. I showed it in my EA video.
Back throw into guard change into whiffed light into unblock into slam can be fixed to work on all character by simply taking a step forward instead of changing guards!
Lil F*CK Assuming he means in ganks, if two hammers slam bois are ganking someone and unbalances the opponent, both can hammer slam if they space and time it right. Player 1 activates his slam and when he’s about to hit, the second player then begins his slam attack. If both are two close to each other, both will bounce off and not hit the unbalanced opponent.
I love how Jorm's OOS pressure (the one thing he is supposed to have) basically consists of either letting his unblockable go, feinting it into bash or feinting it into GB and ALL 3 OF THEM ARE NEGATED BY A BACKDODGE
Even as a jorm player I'm just gonna do a normal hamarr slam when I knock someone down. Those absurd punishes are going to seriously piss people off. Especially considering they're likely not intended as you have to unlock and relock to get the timing down on it consistently.
I can't remember if this was in the last video or not but it might be good to mention how Jorm's neutral bash is confirmed off bashes that are normally safe against GB on whiff when reacted to, like BP's shield bash.
Something that I do to help with the eighty damage punish is to wait until my opponent has fallen completely over (laying on the ground) and then do light into heavy. If timed correctly, you shouldn't delay the heavy; but, you can if you threw the light too early. For me, doing this is a lot easier than the unlock method.
So with zone and heavy you’re holding the hammer with both hands and the punching hand is in use. With lights the punching hand is already freed up. This is why OOL hits work the way they do
Now I haven't gone through testing every character but I've found that guardbreak forward throw to delayed (you can basically react to the guard activation as guide for throwing the light) light to unblockable works every time if timed properly. Without delay the unblockable hits on wake up. Some characters I've tested the unblockable whiffs unless you do all the moves holding forward on you're movement. If you would like I could send you clips of what I'm talking about. I played with some things and found that backwards throw can whiff but side throws can land; however, you have to delay the light ever so slightly slower than you would for forward throws. Keep in mind I'm on console 😅
There is a bug with his hamar throw feat where it doesn't always hits assassin classes, especially in team fights I've had a monk stand completely still when I throw the hammer and it just goes right through him or you see the hammer strafe off to the left or right of him, happened against peacekeepers and gladiators

Valkyrie actually has the advantage against a Jormungandr because she has a dodge attack, if you are able to react to the neutral bash or combo bash, then the dodge attack is confirmed. Jorm’s bash after a light/heavy/zone is 500ms making it borderline unreactable for the average player, so you must predict whether they will perform the bash or one of their other options(light or unblockable heavy). However the bash is impossible to dodge if you switch your guard before inputting the dodge, due to a 100ms guardswitch delay on all characters, so the only way to dodge the bash after a light is to not switch your guard which can actually be difficult and requires practice. Sorry this is so long, hope it helps.

On oos opponent, you have: forward throw -> 2 buffered guard switch -> buffered light -> unblockable -> hammer slam. That's easy to do and works against every hero.
8:05 Something worth doing? Hell yeah it's worth doing! If you're bleeding and you got that last little bit of stamina left and a shaman pounces at you for the bite you can pretty safely bash them out of it, annoy them, and temporarily save your ass XD It's fun cause a shaman attempted multiple bite attempts on me while I was playing Jormungandr and knocked her out of it each time which she then proceeded to spam "Wow!" as many times as possible before she quit before I could finish her off XD
Question, if by mistake after a oos parry i dodge in the wrong direction and the light connects, can i still have a confirmed punch afterwards? Do they get their stamina back too quickly for that punch to be useful? Can they dodge it? (Yes these are actually multiple questions xD)
Im gonna have to correct myself. I kept fighting them and i can handle them just fine. Its a unusually long tedious battle involving alot of backing up and properly timed dodges-into-shoves, but i got em now.

@@mighty_zero on console he is. I went 18-2 right out of the gate. No training. No warm up. I'll play him if they nerf.
@@concretecharlie51 no he isn't. Git gud instead of bitching
Helpful thanks
My fav hero ♦️
Speaking of projectile feats, I still think something needs to be done about pugio.
5:35 is crazy
So I guess the only one that works is the oos parry max punish
Something that is really annoying is when people dodge on bash timing and the unblockable misses
Aaron Lopes something that is really annoying is jorms entire moveset
3:50 also valk, well I think cuase I got it on her
80 damage punish. An attack that interrupts every single attack in this game, including unblockables.
He’s fucking broken.
"WAAAAH AVERAGE DAMAGE IS OP, UBI PLS NERF"
git gud you fucking child
Can she deflect
No
Great channel wish I found you earlier
HEY you a glitch (not a combo ) on you can do two garented 50dmg slam
Someone use this against me but isk how he did that
... What?
@@wyvern5890 you don't understand ark sorry ...
Sosomeone do 100dmg on me because he do 2 hammer slam on one row
Question, if by mistake after a oos parry i dodge in the wrong direction and the light connects, can i still have a confirmed punch afterwards? Do they get their stamina back too quickly for that punch to be useful? Can they dodge it?
(Yes these are actually multiple questions xD)
interesting... I didn't test... but I'd say it's guaranteed.
salvage the panic dodge, I didn't think about that, sorry.
Looks like you could get the punch in yes, just try to learn not to though
As a lawbringer main, jormungander has pretty much made me quit untill they get nerfed.
As a warden I hate him too. Always get my ass kicked
0/10 troll
Im gonna have to correct myself. I kept fighting them and i can handle them just fine. Its a unusually long tedious battle involving alot of backing up and properly timed dodges-into-shoves, but i got em now.
"waah nerf this character because I can't fight them"
@@wyvern5890 you're a little late to comment. I dont have any problems whatsoever killing jorm. Took about a week and a half to figure it out.
God i hate this character...
Decrease his recovery time and buff his heavies
Problem solved
@@PALATA-Gaming yoomu talking about the light to bash thing? Yeah I try dodging but that's where decreasing his recovery comes in because then you can get a gb if he misses.
Maybe decrease his stamina damage as well and we're fine.
T. Akb ~ I play Pk so the light - light isnt that bad for me since most of the time the second light comes from my left and I get that easy deflect. As for the bash they’re easily dodgable.
For the love of fuck, decrease the stamina damage he does, and increase the recovery times on ALL of its moves. Im gonna say it, this character is beyond ridiculous. And they are even worse when they get revenge. Its demoralizing.
@@PALATA-Gaming finally someone who actually hates jorm too
Prediction: whole bunch of nut shots
*Y e p*
I absolutely have no idea anymore where Ubi wants to take this game.
They want to lessen stamina drain and want to focus more on attacking and pro-active play.
And then they add a character that can basically fuck over every (older) character that need their stamina for even the simplest of punishes (Lawbringer, Conq, etc).
Yep balanced a 96 dmg punish. Totally fair
Don't get oos parried near a wall then?
@@aiellamori *genius* reflect on what you just said. "don't get out of stamina". Good. Now reflect on what kind of character you are fighting against. Done? Good. It's a stamina hitter. And don't tell me shit like "just dodge" because bashes are made to be unreactable at least 2/3 of the times like demonstrated in a video not long ago. A 96 dmg punish is unbalanced. It's unfair that a hero can leave you with 1/4 of your life just because you are oos. It's the same as the old cent when he had the infinite combo and you could survive only if got oos. Not to mention that uf you are oos the duel has been going for quite a bit and you have already lost some hp. This means "see you in the next round, scrub". Oh and don't forget that he recovers stamina as well after that 50 dmg slam. So yeah. Balanced.
@@aiellamori that's not a good argument because the simple fact is that WILL happen eventually.
Lureck _ Sounds balanced to me
Lureck _ raider has just one less damage
Ok if nuxia's third heavy can unbalance during revenge he should be able to aswell.
Idk, his is not a grapple like nuxias.
@@juandoe8879 yea but the regular one wall splats like hers
@@shinigamixix7195 True but so does nobushies kick, so should that do a knockdown too? Oh and conqs bash after a landed attack.
@@juandoe8879 oof you got me there, also conq can counter gb in full block when he has revenge it makes no sense because I had revenge aswell.
Que all the people saying how broken the GB combo is. You need to be out of stamina and he has to guardbreak you. Just don’t dodge or try to parry if your fighting a Jormie and your OOS. Ain’t hard.
ye just get hit by the UB
So 4 jorms, one performs the OOS punish while the others wait to throw the slam. That's a juicy 246 dmg. God I love & hate this game so much
... You don't know how the slam works, do you
Bruh how could you mention his tier 3 without mentioning BP can flip it? D:
Wait what?
@@peterlaursen5722 If the hammer hits during the frames of a bulwark counter being done to somebody else, then jormun gets pulled in too .It doesn't work if you try to flip just the hammer alone.
Plz do nerfed shinobi
@@cheemborg1301 all of the backroll moves and dash kick moves are useless
@@cheemborg1301 the backdodge is also very short and i frames are more luck than prediction
Fuckin hell 96dmg? What were they smokin at the Ubi hq?
I really don’t like this hero. They’re not hard to fight. Just unbelievably frustrating.
The 1 Ghrol light bash light bash light bash light bash NUT
All jorm mains in dominion
I fight two types of jores either lightspam or neutral spam
Lightspam is easy to parry, neutral spam is easy to dodge, you can literally backdodge every attack except zone and dodge heavy
Seeing old jorm now gives me hatred to people, i dont remember a video...but few months ago i had ask them if that tech still a thing and then later i learn its not because of reworked
I had to remove that comment
Why?
Cause people keep telling me its been patched...over...and over...and it ticked me off, and i had feeling that they're doing it on purpose
Jörmungander Max punish? Just play the character. Guaranteed victory.
Unoriginal and still wrong. You're mad because you can't dodge, aren't you?
