My wife and I have seen him about 10 times. Back in 1976, Frankie had a disco version of Venus, and in fact we saw him sing it at the Chateau in Framingham, Ma. The original version was our all time favorite song, but the disco version wasn't far behind.
@@mintythemoose True story. Back in the early 80s my friend and I drove from Las Vegas to Reno and while we were there, we visited the planetarium. All the planets with the information were in this huge round hall that had a large echo to it. As I was reading about the planets, I got to Uranus and it said that it is extremely hot. I was truly surprised and I told my friend who was about 60 feet away. I spoke loudly so he could hear me and I said “Hey Jeff, did you know that Uranus is really hot? And then a couple seconds later after he started laughing, I realized how that statement sounded. Since then, I’ve been hearing that joke up and down. To be honest before that, I never even heard that joke before. So I think I’m gonna officially lay claim to it. Lol.
I am flooded with memories!!!
He has a Fantastic voice!
Wow! Does that bring back memories! ❤
Happy Monday... thank you for sharing! 💖
Junior in high school and I loved him with a new release of the movie. Grease! That brought 50s days back to high school.
Only great memories swirl when you hear this classic.
Great MAN & music ❤
The great, great Frankie Avalon.

Lol… do you think his hair was naturally that curly or did he have a permanent here? It’s uncanny how much he looks like Mike Brady here! 😂
I’m just waiting for a female to sing a song about Mars! Lol
I ought to do so! I have a lot to say about him!
@@tadakatsu14 Hey, I resemble that remark! Lol
As long as you don't sing about Uranus, you will be fine. 😁

@@JohnnyJimsAZMan, I was laughing so hard, picturing the scene and echo. Brilliant, thank you for sharing that fantastic memory, haha! 😂
Not the disco version? 😂
Ohne Chor ist sein Stimmchen schon etwas dünn..
Es war immer etwas dünn. 😁
