I just got back into the hobby and today I decided to restart where I left off and found a Pamphobeteus species labeled as Pamphobeteus Fortis which it clearly wasn't a P.fortis but figured I would give it a shot and see what mystery pamp I ended up with...got it home and guess what?...Dead...Dead as a door nail..I called the place back and they said it was alive when it left which I am not sure if it was or not because it had a stench to it when I was ready to rehouse it but they aren't going to do anything for me on that so I am out $80.00...Damn the luck...I enjoy your videos, keep up the good work!

I see so many unboxing videos where the person looks like such a professional using tongs and everything so I'm glad to finally watch a unboxing like this with shaking hands and everything as it makes it a little bit more personal to me :) I just ordered all my stuff for my first Tarantula so will be setting that up on Monday ready for a Tarantula which is proving difficult as the places I was recommended don't have the GBB I was wanting to get :(

8:17 in Latin (and in Italian as well) every "e" is read like you read the "E" of B. Emilia. So the word is pronounced "eklesiusticoos" :-) and, as someone already said, it means "of church", "ecclesia" is church in Latin

What do you mean by the first enclosure being to big?
Apparently they get really stressed if they have too big of a territory whereas if they have a smaller one they feel safe and secure, I learnt that from watch Kat dark den and exotic lairs brilliant vids I’m still petrified of spiders 😂😂

Are the enclosures that they use to ship the spiders comfortable to them ?
It seems so tiny and claustrophobic.
There's not really a safer way to ship them out, if you where to put it in a bigger container it would move around way to much and probably die

I dont watch many spider channel but she reminds me of exotics lair. Idk if ever spider channel is like this but idk she is just like a female version of exotics lair to me.
Your buddy really needs to start using tongs and catch cups. He's lucky your H. villosella didn't tag him between sticking his fingers right in her face to pull out the paper towels and then grabbing her how he did, they can have a real bad attitude.

thank you, I am delighted to have a P ecclesiaticus. They are so gorgeous, I'm glad Psalmos grow a bit quicker so I'll see those colors soon

Psalmos are the perfect tarantulas, IMO. Fast growers, great eaters, active webbers with a large variety in appearance and loads of "personality". The ecclesiasticus are such a lovely species, I was eyeballing them myself at Palp Friction but ultimately passed them up for a P. murinus DCF and P. chordatus Mastov. Still not sure if I made the right call :'D

Hey beautiful woman, question for you. Why you can't put the small tarantula into big enclosure,aren't they even feel better, like they are living in natural habitat?
She could possibly have found her way out in the larger enclosure. You can house larger but I feel like it’s less secure and you can’t monitor them as easily, plus they generally won’t use the space. They’ll make a burrow or web up an area, and stay inside it or nearby 90% of the time
