I feel like this song is meant to embody Rainbow Dash as ponies see her, but also the self she may not even know she has. On the surface, she's loyal and strong, hardly afraid of anything. But below that, she's afraid. She's afraid that her friend's won't accept her for who she really is. She feels like she'll never measure up to her alicorn friend, and she isn't even sure that her friends want her around. This song gives me the strength I need to look inside myself and figure out who I really am. Thank you
All of the sudden entries into the chant series are impressive. I cant believe after so long it finally sees completion for the mane 6 almost out of nowhere. All of the music is very quality work. I don't know if there are plans to go on to songs inspired by other characters but if this is it, then I am personally more than happy to have gotten these six amazing and nostalgic songs.
The final 4 songs (plus Life Outside) were all written nearly 5 years ago, believe it or not. I have the demos. He was gone for 2 years to Argentina. When he got back, he so wanted to finish the series with Chi-Chi, and they got #3 done, but it just didn't work out for whatever reasons for song 4 , 5, and 6. He waited until about 6 months ago, then reached out to other singers so that he could complete the set. I imagine these as chants being performed by the offspring of the mane 6 at their collective funeral. With a wonderbolts flyby at the end or crescendo of the song, with scootaloo flying lead.

I like how the percussion emulates the speed of flight while the melody is RD's expression of freedom and love, the lyrics poetically describing her loyalty towards others.
Absolutely loving it. After getting the Album this quickly rose to my favorite Chant. This one strikes the perfect balance between the slower and the faster Chants. Together with Life outside my favorite from the Album.

And so comes to an end my little mini binge of this series of songs. I think they will forever be my favourite music to come out of this fandom.
I have all six of these in one list if anyone wants to listen to all of them at once.
I feel like this song is a prayer to help someone who is struggling with a wavering allegiance. Like, someone whose loyalty is being tested and they want to remain true to their companions/beliefs but they also feel lost and maybe are struggling with temptation so they pray to the Element of Loyalty to help them stay true and banish the doubt/temptation within their heart.
This is just so beautiful and uplifting i love it, thank you for this 4everfreebrony you just made my day 20% cooler.
When I listen to this I think to myself “EVERYTHING WILL BE FINE; EVEN THOUGH THE ROUGHEST OF TIMES”!!!!!!

This song made me feel things for Rainbow Dash I had no idea I could. I never liked her character too much, but it's because I couldn't see past the surface.

When I think of these chants I'm repeatedly left in awe. They so powerfully distill the _feeling_ of being an element of harmony, and the weight of responsibility that the roles entail. (minus Fluttershy's, I don't get it yet).
One line that hits me hard is "Pleasure's mine to be in service of a friend to me." It's the simplest joys in life that are the most powerful.

Cheesy as it sounds, but I can see it as a chant to all the Flight Instructors out there. Spending hours and hours teaching the new breed of pilots, day after day. Never giving up on their students, and always devoted.

What a way to end. I was blown away when I first heard this on Spotify (ahem ;3) and I really think the production on this entry is the best of all of them. The momentum, the rush, the urgency of what Loyalty and Courage bring to a friendship.
But more than the production is the sense of desperation, which is a major part of Dashie's character. She is always plagued by the insecurity of not being good enough, which is what drives her to greatness and her servant's heart. The other chants, to a minor degree, don't play off of the real anxieties the characters face, serving more as summaries of what they bring. But with this chant, it really goes to show how much that abject terror can play into the positive role they embody.
Wonderful work. And please, let's not forget Spike, either.

These chants are just absolutely beautiful. It's such a shame they don't have millions of views, you can tell the level of passion and raw emotion that was put into these stunning tracks, with each one portraying a different emotion and tone. Another thing I like about these tracks is the general neutrality in the music. They might be inspired by MLP as the artwork and themes imply, but you could take the lyrics and music of each chant out of context and have them not directly relate to MLP. You can show this to anyone outside of the MLP fandom without the subtext and have them enjoy these tracks without them feeling any alienation or disconnect to the music. Brilliant. Absolutely brilliant.
This is one of my favourites and one i wake up to every day. I love the entire chant album, all the hard work and emotion put into each delicate track, makes each one unique and wonderful. 4everfree and those who helped him with the album, have really outdone themselves with it. It is a amazing album

Out of all of the music to have come out of the fandom, chant of immortality has always been my favorite. To see the series topped off, legitimate tears. It feels like some weight has lifted off my heart. Great ending, the difference in time between songs did not affect the vision or purpose in the slightest. Thank you so much for this.

I've been keeping an eye on your music since i found the song Chasing Fate on your channel and when Chant of Immortality came out i was hooked.
It was a long wait since Benevolence but it was absolutely worth the wait. The Dreamers Door is a great album with each song being totally unique, thematically and artistically, as well as each being heart meltingly beautiful to listen to.
Can't wait to see Life Outside posted. Thanks for all the years of brilliant music 4everfree. You have real talent.

At the end of the song, I only can see in my mind a lot of flashbacks of Rainbow and her friends, as the song speeds up, then, the sudden slow reminding me its over, and the are not with us anymore

I think this is now my most (or at worst second-most) favorite of the Chant series. The lyrics are extremely well-done, _and_ the singing/music are among the best of the album.
