This is track 5 of my new album, "The Dreamer's Door". I'm so thankful for all the wonderfully positive feedback on Chant of Selflessness. Thank you all for your patience with this series. I hope you enjoy the rest of the songs I have yet to upload.

Integrity: doing the right thing even if no one would know. Maturity: acting with integrity even when you don't want to. This song seems to understand that. Well done.
Maturity: fear overcome -> Integrity: unconditional adherence to chosen virtues
Chant of Selflessness is the one that I feel best represents its character, but this one feels the most like a song being used to call upon the spirit of Applejack and her Honesty to protect the land once more if that makes sense it probably doesn't but anyway... Namii's vocals really add something special to the song. Now just waiting for Chant of Allegiance to hit RUclips so I can put it on all of my playlists :D

Sounds like angels singing as they welcome you in their arms. So beautiful...
This chant is strange to me. At first I thought it was good but compared to Benevolence and Selflessness it was just "OK." Then I'm struck by the desire to listen to it one night and the beautiful lines describing the scene leap out at me.
Again 3 months later I listen to it and this time the high notes and your voice nearly brought me to tears for some reason.
I wrote this to let you know that your work is appreciated. Thank you.
What I think you've done wonderfully is though the chants are meant to be a "series" and have some similarities, every chant has its own charm. You're a very very talented musician man
The chant series is the best album
Change My Mind
This chant along with Benevolence and Selfless are my favorite out of the chants. They give me a feeling of timelessly and nostalgic. They each remind how important these traits are and how effective they are even if it a small act.

This is by far my favorite chant. I have had this one in my head for awhile and it helps keep you serene if your in a stressful situation. So glad the album is officially out for everyone!
Honestly I cannot express my whole feeling for this, this track and all the other chants are just so....mesmerizing. Absolutely phenomenal and fantastic job, not to mention AJ is also one of my most favorite character in the show.

It is truly wonderous, but to me, the Chant of Selflessness takes the cake
This one is so beautiful. I don’t have words that do it’s beauty justice.
As much as it irks me as Selflessness is my favorite, I think this one is the most beautifully done of the series.
How about we work together to make this next decade the decade of truth? The entire world needs this more than ever now and if we succeed, we will achieve world peace and economic stability. Just like the honest and hardwrking AJ who only needs her family and friends to be happy.
This gives me proof that I can still get an emotional response from something beautiful. That is to say: It tugs at my heartstrings.
I really wish I could feel this like you do, I remember when I used to but now everything feels numb and I’m quickly forgetting what it’s like to feel those bursts of emotion when listening to great music like this, enjoy it for me please.

I find that concentrating on the meaning of the lyrics of a deep song like this, is most likely to trigger an emotional reaction. It's never been consistent though.
Have you had time decompress from stress without distraction?
I don't know enough about your situation to evaluate whether I have helpful advice to give, or if you even want any. Or if you even need any advice.
I myself am not generally prone to strong emotional reactions. I think I'm a bit below average in that regard, actually.
I do have a strong tendency to be verbose in my comments, and I've been trying to rein that in lately. So if you want to know something that you think I would know, please ask, because normally I write very large comments in an attempt to cover all of the questions I can imagine someone being likely to ask me, as well as progressively deeper tangents on my original topic.
Good to someone is keeping the fandom alive.

I'm still seeing plenty of things, songs, pmvs (though I rarely watch them) and even full blown animations. I'm personally looking forward to the Griffin Village Animation when it eventually comes out. Yeah, it's slowed down but none of us are really leaving because of it. We'll carry it with us wherever we go (I fear I sound like an absolute tool typing that)

This is my favorite Chant. This one to me, is deep in emotion, both in the lyrics, and in the instrumentals.

It would be incredible if this album had an incredible physical version, something like Prince's with his reimagine album. It would be great for 4everfreebrony to make a physical version in digipack (with an art book with song lyrics) of this beautiful album. I know that this album has a physical version, but it is very simple for what this album is. If 4everfreebrony made a physical version in digipack, or kickstarter of this album, I would buy or support with what I request, since this album deserves it, and I think we could also support it, Come on who would not want this album in digipack with a Book lyrics and song art? I would pay anything to have it ...!

I know and I'm going to buy one, but I would love it if they were like the princewhateverer did, since this album you made is not just music, it is a work of art (in every sense of the word) and for me the best album of 2019 and one of the best of the decade, I wish that the physical edition is not so simple, that it be like a digipack with a book of lyrics of the songs and their respective arts (like the one that his princewhateverer in his album reimagine) I would pay whatever it is to have one, it would be great, since as I said (and I don't like to do it) this album deserves a limited edition luxury physical edition (like 100 units or 50 yo qur hahaha), since it is not any album, is your best album and the best of 2019 (in my opinion) and proof that songs can also become a great form of art, if you kickstarter this album I would buy up to 2 of this album , but in the end it would be a dream come true. Thank you for your incredible music that has helped me to improve as a person and show me that the fandom brony is the best of all time and that in em there are extraordinary talents, also for brightening my days with each new song that you launched and making my Mind this in other worlds imagining me in fantasy worlds as beautiful as your music. I want there to be a story that connects these songs, so badly. Best I could come up with is the female voice was Twilight, searching for her friends, who have all disappeared mysteriously. "I'll be waiting reverently
. Underneath the apple tree. Pondering on what we're all to be." The mystery would no doubt revolve around the mane 5 ascending to some higher form of their elements, but this has taken them far away from each other, and Twilight is trying to discover this and bring them back.
The female singer in each song is supposed to represent the pony in the picture. They're singing from the perspective of the respective characters.
@@4everfreebrony That makes sense. Looking at the Chant of Mirth, a story where they'd all ascended out of the world and have become stuck seems plausible. "I am lost, but am free of the world
. For outside, all is bleak, all is cold." The Chant of Immortality speaks of loneliness and recalling the past, presumably when Twilight's friends were there.
You could read the story of the elements going to heaven and becoming pure versions of themselves, but are lonely until Twilight comes to reunite them: "It is ponderous, willing to know my fate
. In its longest lingering while to wait. I'm not ready, ready to let them go." Someone should really make a video analyzing these songs, Game Theory style.
An alternate story is that Twilight has to rescue the elements from these higher planes they've ascended to. Either one is quite touching and beautiful.

these songs really do give a saintly/religous feel very appropriate to a sort of what if where the mane 6 were a god and her saints rather then just flesh and blood mares.

I've re-joined the fandom again after roughly 10 years and only now am really, really getting into it. I just saw this posted at tumblr and can't describe how it made me feel upon hearing it. It's like the singing immediately lulled me in and send an enormous wave of emotions over me. It's like everything good and sad rushed over me. Like a precious memory of a passed loved one resurfacing. I'm still crying while writing this, but I think this is one of the most beautiful songs I've heard in ... possibly years. I can't remember reacting to a song this way.
