      Trust me, Wendy. I get it. We’ve had some craziness in our family and I am struggling to keep up, too. I just do as I tell all of you…step in where you are. And here’s something else I plan to do…see my therapist. I just need a mental tuneup, a little help to get through some things. I am not ashamed to say I need that support, if you think it may help you…take advantage of it. Most insurance programs help with the cost. And thank you for your kindness. Which tip resonated with you?

      @@homemakingwithdenise I work as a mental health professional - and I definitely think I need to get a new therapist to sort through the impact of family stress.

      Ooh well.. I'm definitely going to get powdered egg in as its useful for baking and I don't always have fresh eggs in. Liked the chicken pie as it looks so easy to do. You also reminded me to put clothes away when doing the laundry as mine pile up and it becomes horribly overfacing. Basically all of it resonated with me.😁

    Miss Denise let me tell you the BEST advice I received to help me stay on top of my laundry was from you! 1 load a day is simply brilliant. If I can't tackle anything in a day I know I have time for 1 load of laundry. I simply do not feel overwhelmed with it and I no longer have to devote an entire weekend for it either!
    I'm slowly trying to get a grasp on the Fly Lady method too. It's a little challenging now because I have produce coming in from the garden and I'm canning a lot and in my garden almost daily. But I'm starting to write in my planner what I should do daily for 15 minutes and It seems to work well.
    Stay healthy and can't wait to see another video ❤

    I love your videos. They are so relaxing. I have to admit, though, I'd like to see and learn from some videos where you manage, nurse, teach and discipline a gaggle of wiley young children as you go through these household tasks. That's my only obstacle right now, lol!

    • @homemakingwithdenise
      @homemakingwithdenise  2 года назад +2

      I had to laugh at that one. My gaggle of young ones are now faults with their own families. It is easier when the littles aren’t underfoot, but it is doable with routines. Now I didnt say perfect and endless play dates and rainbows. It’s still work!
