I'm in Germany. The EU passed a law wich will be in effect in one month. The GSPR. This will make dropshipping more difficult. They demand you to have custom packaging with serial numbers, tracking codes, more information, etc.. So "at least" custom packaging is required now if you wanna dropship inside of the EU.

Day 21: I agree with this a lot, every year and almost every month someone makes a video saying that dropshipping is dead. Though this may be real or fake, I am trying to make this work ASAP. I have trouble falling asleep knowing that I have not made my first 10k month or even 5k month. I am on my own for now until I join the mentorship. remember some countries already have some of these laws, i dropship globally to specific countries not all. I already know which countries to avoid drop shipping in because of the taxes and recurring issues so im partially safe

Sanctions and trade restrictions are fairly easy to bypass. Only thing that will change is that products you dropship won’t have the “Made in China” label on them, everything else will be the same.

Yes, the import tax was anywhere between 20-30% BUT this one is a 100% tariff. This means if an american imports a $50 product, he will have to pay $50 tariff. Thats $100 for a $50 product. PLUS you have to pay taxes on profit, if there is any.
Depends on the amount. In the US you usually don't pay until it goes over $800. Most dropshipping products are well underneath that so basically no tax on most dropshipping purchases.
this regulation comes from mexico, if you tried to send dropshipping products around 50 usd, you need to pay 35% of taxes and ship, so you're paying 73 usd, ridiculous margin

Most of the suppliers does branding these days. Anyways I started to work directly with the factories so it won't bother me.
