To this day people actually believe that a guy named Thomas Hewitt was Leatherface. The real Leatherface is guy named Ed Gein.
@John Cena ok
Yeah thomas hewitt was the Cop RIP.
@John Cena did you ever go?
@@robinalvarez6840 lol i don’t think so
@John Cena good luck u gonna need it
The Hollywood drama "The Texas Chainsaw Massacre" and "The Silence Of The Lambs" was a fiction based on the life of killer Ed Gein. whom never lived in Texas.
thank you! wtf. so sick of people hell bent on bringing Texas into it. as you said, his story was real, and about 5 states north of the movie set. I was stationed in Fort Hood(Killeen, TX) back in 02-05' and quite a few Texans were pretty pissed they used their state when in fact it took place nowhere near there. other than that house, the opening scene was shot in one of the rivers commonly used for summer tubing, and I may be wrong but my ex lived in New Braunfels, and the talk of the town said it was being filmed nearby....finally someone with common fucking sense! thanks man!!!
I figured I would inform the idiots, and left a comment above with all of the pertinent information. -fml
Your very much welcome i laugh every time i read what someone thinks they know...the most famous one i have heard yet is the old story of the real Leather Face...Idiots always say he is locked up in Huntsville....lol.... NOTTT. People catch a clue...
+Darrian Parker exactly bub, see below
ikr
Came here one day this is childhood memory. 2003 Texas chainsaw was one of my favorites growing up
damn that place looks creepy. imagine someone's car broken down right there at night. fuck.
This is the Texas Chainsaw Massacre house from the remake and prequel. The original one was in Round Rock, TX and they took it apart in several sections and moved it to Kingsland, TX in 1998. It is now a restaurant as part of a hotel.
Ed gein was the real leather face Thomas Hewitt was the actor
I thought the actor was gunnar Nelson 🔨 ⏰
Not to be a smart-ass, but Thomas Hewitt was the _character,_ Andrew Brynarski was the actor who played the character, in the remake anyway. The character's name was Thomas Sawyer in the original film, and was played by Gunnar Hansen.
I really know a person that was related to him he was there2nd cousin and she was also related to a person who killed people and fed them to pigs
ed didnt use a chainsaw and lived in plainfield
He was more of inspiration of buffalo bill and psycho
Everybody gangsta until leatherface come out with chainsaw
You won’t meet Leatherface, you’ll meet a shotgun for trespassing on private property in 2022.
It's just a house people. The 'No Trespassing' signs don't mean they are murderers or creeps, they just want privacy from folks who want to peer into their home because of a movie being filmed there.
Yep same with home alone
That happened to the people who lives in the house where the conjuring took place at.
Nah leather face is down there lol
@@thekingmagnum7331 😆 rub for it! Or step on the gas pedal!!! 😂
I'm 2hrs always from the house
No way make a vid
I live there
That’s not that close 🤷🏻♂️
@@chrisrozens1125 Closer than I am
Same
it's funny that people call Ed Gein the Texas chainsaw massacre when he never used a chainsaw to do any of his dirty work.
And he wasn't from Texas. And was only convicted of a single murder (although he confessed to, and is suspected of killing more TBF). And didn't suffer from neurodegeneration.
Ed Gein lived in a small Village ,,Plainfield" in Illinois. The only similarity and reason why people say TCM is based on him is becouse of the way he used the corpses from the cementary. He made furniture out of their bone, bowls out of skulls and most important... masks from the faces. He also had a suit made with human leather, and some gloves made with also human leather. Just look up google ,,Ed Gein House Inside" to see why people say its ,,Based" on him.
@@Grubusss Wisconsin, not Illinois.
Good content
Dude that's one big ass house
I HAVE to go there some day.
I saw it when it did not have that fence. Creepy house ! A must see for a fictional movie.
i just traveled to the house a few weeks ago and that same windmill thing scared the shit out of me and my friend
same
I want a copy of the paper he got out of the mailbox to read the whole thing.
Shawn Skinner same
Man I'd hate to have to retrieve the mail every day from there lol.
The house from the first movie was turned into a restaurant...
NatFillion S no it wasn't
NatFillion S not the remake house
yes it was. The original house- a small white house- is a restaurant now
NatFillion S 25 mins away from my granparents home

I live here in Ocala it’s not there anymore.where they filmed the police station is still there. Its an old school in reddick Florida
Cool!!!! Spooky even in the day
Go film at the gas station from Texas Chainsaw Massacre! It’s in Cele, Texas!
you are the Best
Man i grew up watching the 1974 movie with my dad same with jeepers creepers im 20 now
Awesomeee!
“This is the official Texas Chainsaw Massacre house from…what movie was it?” …my guy…was this entire video a joke?
the real killer was ed gein
Esmeralda Perez i think we know
Yep except Ed Gein did his crimes up in Wisconsin & he didn't use a chainsaw. Gein was more of a grave robber than a serial killer.
I seen leatherhead. I mean Leatherface run through the cornfields early in mornings 😁
"look its a creepy.........old." what are those called, "mill....." Nice one, and another gem " and if your little bit OLD, and want to use a map" lol jeZZUS.
My dream to go there one day! I will probably do it 😊 what are the risks if we cross the barrier? we would have to wait for the owners to come in or out to ask them for permission to visit, right?
I want to go there.
Love this movie!
“im making a video, but dont ask me anything’
“hows my bangs?”
Bruh this is the remake house. It”d be so cool if you visit the Sawyer house
The farm house in the original Texas Chainsaw Massacre movie was turned into a restaurant.
where this location in texas what area is this
They shot the movie down the street from where I live in Round Rock.
I live in Florida lol it’s gonna take me hours to get there
So what movie is the Texas Chainsaw Massacre house from?
Goosbumps
Lynn is still alive on that road.
It's kind of an old video, but if you go, beware of the sheriff. These people apparently had enough, and they call the sheriff in two seconds. If you go, respect their privacy, and just drive by, don't camp out in front. Texans are some very friendly people, but even they want peace.
Do they even post those info papers anymore? Thats such a bummer people can't respect their privacy.
Nice house and road
Man so epic
cool!
Cool I always wanna to go there it be kinda cool if u could go in the house and deep water mountain west Virginia
Ah man I envy you lol I went last summer and there was no fence up but all the "No Trespassing" signs are still up but I didn't get one of those cool lil' flyers y'all got ha ha.
Did you guys check out the gas station and the slaughterhouse/meat house? They all aren't far from there. The gas station well it's a lil restaurant now has some good bbq ha ha
that bbq is human meat...
I used to pass thru in the 80s
Now I need to go there too. What about the old Crawford mill??😂Was that a real place too or did they tear it down or something?🙈
I used to go thru this area back in the 80s from fort hood to Austin I stoped at the store small scary town they owned cattle’s n everything the 1970s survivor one girl was in Geraldo back in the day with the woman from the true story entity n looked around they where selling beef jerky’s but I didn’t buy none weird ppl all related
Is there phone service there now ?
Thomas was just an actor!!!
Oh man I thought this was about the real Texas Chainsaw Massacre!
Ed Gein's house burned down awhile ago
+PRHILL9696 If you talking about the house on the old movie (the original) you can go
@@PrinceRodriguezTV SMH Texas Chainsaw has almost nothing to do with the real life Ed Gein.
@@firstlast-oo1he actually some of the things in the movie was looslely inspired by Ed Gein's real like crime's and even the Director Tobe Hooper said that in an interview and if you know the case then wathing the movie you can see the details throught the film
did I miss something? Why is the house they used to record the Remake in captivity?
the 2003 movie, Its another real story besides Ed Gein?
Leatherface, like Santa Claus are real if you want them to be real.
In heaven, inside your soul, you'll be able to create anything you want.
I thought the original house was moved to another part of Texas and is now its a restaurant
This is the house from the remake, not the original. Not sure why anyone would care about it. The remake is terrible.
+bassage13 thank you for your response :)
They would shit there pants if they heard a chainsaw crank up over there
They could make a fortune giving people tours around the house etc but I heard they are sick of people taking photos out side the house they even got Google Maps to blur the house
I drove by. There’s was a guy on the green tractor I’m sure they are pissed 🤣
Yeah I saw a post somewhere on a forum, someone actually talked to the owner and from what I can remember, they don’t mind ppl taking videos or pictures from the street, but it became a problem when people started going up to the house at odd hours of the night.
@0:46 is the sound at the beginning of the movie.
Oh omg im not far away
I've seen this house in person. Near Egin texas
What a fear
My grandfather said he use to live 200 miles away from this house and he would drive past it on his way to work
How far away did he live from work?

That is the real house
It probably still stinks and smells like blood and dead people
Omg what if u were at the fence and u saw a truck driving towards you
so this is not the actual house??
Didn't get to turn around fully to start walk off to go to sleep
Welcome to the void LOL
If i moved into that house, id buy a Poulan 245A, to match the movies
Visit the amityville house
This is only the house they used in the movie the real house is in kingsland....you can stay the night there and eat
My mom grandpa grandma and her sisters and brothers used to lived down the stream across the woods my mom and them heard screaming and the chainsaw going off in the woods by grandpa told them never go in the woods my grandpa also gave everyone guns Incase the chainsaw guy came over there they said it was scary to heard it and my grandpa never went to the next town over because everyone disappeared
It's not real it's a made up movie
I’m 40 minutes away from that house
Looks like a Plantation house
Welcome
Why not go inside the real Amityville Horror house.
Theres more than 1 house, many different stories
This is only where the 2003 movie was filmed. Not the real house.
this is franklin's grandparents abandoned house not the accual texas chainsaw massecre house
Where is it at
The Texas Chainsaw Massacre was based on Ed Gein except Gein committed his crimes up in Wisconsin & he didn't use a chainsaw.
Go down the sacrificial lands Knoxville road Pena Adobe road near vacaville, California
You guys need to check out the old Bryce hospital.in northport.al .where they kept mental patient's.and alot of them died in this hospital .it's been closed down for years check it out ..on RUclips
Alguien sabe cómo llegar ha este lugar.
The Texas chainsaw massacre happened in Wisconsin thats just the house from the remake ...
No, it wasn't just Ed Gein
I'm 54 minutes away I live in Killeen TX bu the way
I used to live there. My name is Thomas
The film was marketed as being based on true events to attract a wider audience and to act as a subtle commentary on the era's political climate; although the character of Leatherface and minor story details were inspired by the crimes of murderer Ed Gein, its plot is largely fictional.
Story by: Kim Henkel; Tobe Hooper
أليس الأمر كما شاهدت في الفيلم ذو الوجهين هو طفل تربى على يد القاتل اد جين عندما عثر عليه قرب مكب نفايات
Cuál es la dirección de esa casa
That's not the OG house. The original 1974 house is in Kingsland TX.
Andrea Burke I went to the location and it wasn’t there but I googled it and it said that it’s use to be there but they moved it to some where else
@@allengarcia2667 yea it's in Kingsland. I have pictures. It's a bar and grill.
I'm next to the house
i want to go there
Creepy AF
I don't live too far from the Texas chainsaw massacre house I might be couple hrs or 3 from it
SO CREEPY AND DEPRESSION
hi guys, could someone tell me why you all are curious about this house? there are tousands of houses where people were killed by others? what makes this house so bizzare, curious?
i asked for the reason not for a result
Because of the movie lol
This isn't a real murder House the Texas chainsaw massacre was not a real event
because of the documentary of ed gein the real house was burned down...
