Looks good. However, I would probably remove the veggies before adding the meat so it doesn't "boil", one could get a little sear, and drain the fat before adding back the veggies. Definitely going to give it a try!

She just has an appetite for onions, and I love it!!
My mom used to make a dish like this and still does. It was cabbage, tomatoes, onion and tofu or chicken with some soy sauce, but the addition of carrot and paprika is another nice option. And it's such a cheap and delicious dish.

A tip, wear metal thimbles on your thumb & the fingers you use to hold the ingredients to rub on the box grater & hand held held grater, allows you to get all the product & you won't grate/scrape/ cut your fingertips, works great, hope that helps someone

My mom cooked this from a Hungarian recipe. The only difference, the recipe adds white rice. It was very good. 😋
