@Aubrey Jarvis wow I remember playing reach not long after it came out at like 8 years old and it was life changing for me I’m glad to hear that the halo series as a whole has had an impact on you If you get the chance definitely play the halo wars games as those are different but super fun

I still play this game even if the servers were killed, I saved maps from games I played back then. I turn my wifi settings on my Xbox and my armor still appears. Playing Halo 3 and Reach just doesn't feel right on MCC, yes we get all these cool addon's but me I miss everything about the originals. The menus, the armor customization and how it felt unlocking something. The effort put in on launch and not waiting years for a game to be fixed. The memories with friends.
Let's be honest. Halo Reach hit different from any of the other games. I've probably had more emotions playing this one game, mainly a bit of dread at the end, than any other Halo game... An exception of Halo 4, when I thought Cortana died
@Aubrey Jarvis i honestly think that if the art style was like that of halo 3 people wouldve been way less harsh on halo 4, myself included even tho i dont dislike the campaign and have had alot of fun in the multiplayer, altho i really do not like the prometheans
@Aubrey Jarvis nah, you're wrong. It's the Prometheans, they're not very fun to fight, and they don't fit. The parts of Halo 4 where you're fighting Covenant are fun, and that's because Halo 4 was built on top of Halo Reach.. so the parts of it that are just like Reach are fun. The parts that are new? They suck. I liked Halo 4 back on release, but replaying it now, it really isn't very good. The changes to the art direction, the vibe and atmosphere not feeling "Halo", bringing Chief back when his story really was over, the loadouts and killstreaks in MP etc etc were just additional factors. I don't know why there was a resurgence in Halo 4 apologism when it came to the MCC, I figure people just want to believe that the game we'd all collectively discarded as average/bad was actually a secret gem.
@@BADSOI seriously! Ever since i was a kid on the way to school i would listen to Reach’s sound track and now i’m in my second to last year of college and nothing has changed. haha

When we meet again… reach. To all lives lost, we salute you, your service has saved countless lives, some have even joined us. We will remember you, always. See you on the battlefield, Spartans.
I expected it to be so horrible after first seconds, but it's so calming, no matter are the events just waiting to begin or already over. You just calmly sit there, watch Reach's well known wonderful landscapes, and there's no covenant invasion happening right now.
@Aubrey Jarvis I'm not lactose intolerant, don't worry. I haven't tries much cheese, but so far my favorite is Swiss. Oh, and I'm one of more older fans, from the near beginning, if not the start.
"Hard to believe he's really gone.."

Not the right game but cool
We gave our bodies and souls to Reach but we gave our courage to you, so fight on fellow spartans so our sacrifices aren't in vain

Ending of reach and 4 got me good. Though I do think Reach was shocking cuz of good storytelling where 4 banked on nostalgia a little.

2nd to comment (Or 3rd, I don't know), thanks for this BADSOI, your videos are really good.
It makes Reach sound more like Halo 3 if that makes sense. I love the resonance. Makes it more fantastical vs the normal militaristic feel Reach had.
Not the first time ONI has put a spartan as mia not the last so there be another time when it is our darkest hour
he will return

This would be amazing soundtrack for a hypothetical Halo Reach 2 which follows the human covenant war at its peak.

This hits so hard I don’t have words for it but Thanks. You deserve more attention on the platform.
I think i just have to post more halo content tbh, its been a sec. Thanks for your kind words ♡

I picture this as years after the invasion, serene yet eerie
