@@ender7910 They kinda messed up the timeline and the way the battle went that's shown in the book "Halo: The Fall of Reach." But with some mental gymnastics and a few small retcons, the two stories can be made to work with each other.
Although I still regard Halo 3 as Halo at its pinnacle. Halo Reach will always be the perfect love letter from Bungie as they made their departure from the Halo franchise. They have truly took gaming to a whole new level and gave many of us a childhood we would never forget.

So, the reason, if you're wondering, is that the Reach OST is assorted by mission, and the track is the music that plays in the mission sequentially. If you like remembering the mission in it's entirety than I guess it's good for that. I don't find that battle music to actually be all that bothersome, but I would like to just have the tracks separated by what song they actually are.

Halo Reach I still think has one of the best storylines and possibly one of the very greatest OSTs in the Halo franchise
Definitely my favorite OST although for storylines I think H2 is definitely the best. Reach is really good though.
It's a shame they retconned the story, but other than that it's pretty solid.

Halo reach was the first game I put HOURS into. Lol, I was in fifth grade when I played it.
