@@Harzurner But banks A-C on the SP12 have stock sounds correct. The only way not to hear them sounds is to turn them down individually or through the main volume. So I’m guessing you have the main volume turned down on the SP12 right.
I believe because the machine is monophonic. And you will only get it on the left or right anyway. 1-4= Left. 5-8 =Right. Unless you set up the outs to say all. But don't quote me on that...
It should you have to make a template program on the Akai S950 & a Program on your Mpc 2000 with the midi notes corresponding only. Then after you can always load sounds into the programs
Outstanding video! I have the courage to map midi to my S900. Great content!👍🏾
Great video. The best tutorial for me so far. I subbed. Thanks for posting.
Great video! I’m going to try with my Mpc 2000xl & Akai S950. I know it’s like a automatic sync with Akai S950&SP though.
Don’t you have to turned down the internal sounds on the SP-12?
It's being used as the sequencer not the sampler, samplers have no sounds unless you sample.

thx man! Glad u liked it!
Any recommendations if the S950 isn't registering MIDI from the output on an SP1200?
good video
Hey, when you assign each sample / keygroup to their own out, this assumes you’re using the 8 outs on the back and not the mix only?
