Love this beat man! So smooth. I recently got the MPC Live 2 and I'm still new to learning my way around it. I didn't even know this type of sequencing was possible - that's dope
@Ralph L. Baer And I guess its so dope to be able to sample actual musical work of others, to be able to then "work on music". Creation is usually independent of other people's works, but I do get what you're saying. I play multiple instruments as a session musician, as well as use a sampler to create, so I have a different view on real musical creation and what is a true channel for the divine, or not.
@@thekeysman6760sound is sound. Many sample based producers can take a sample and completely rearrange it to sound like a completely different song. J Dilla Don’t Cry for example, Jay Z’s Story of OJ for example, Dj Premier Work for example. Sampling is alchemy. Taking existing elements and transforming them to something new.
This beat is so hypnotic the low end is sublime!!! Unforgetable indeed!. I love your channel a true Hip Hop head dropping knowledge for the love of the culture . I have learned a lot through your teachings so thanks for sharing Happy new year
This moment I'm using a blackmagic 6kpro but I am thinking of going to a full frame, not selling the 6kpro because I love the results but a full frame is gonna help in my small studio.
So fantastic. I’ve tried and failed to gel with the MPC Live twice, but you keep making it sound amazing. Maybe I can get somewhere like this with my Octatrack…
Muito bom, terapia, várias samples muito boas. Os teus vídeos são grande ajuda para mim, comecei a fazer instrumentais também e jazz hip Hop, Lofi, curto muito, e ajuda muito as tuas dicas. Continua o bom trabalho ✌️
Amazing beat Marlow!! One stupid question, did you put all these sounds in different tracks or just in different pads and all in the same track? And in which mode are you in the mpc to make that? Just bought mine this week !!
"Jazz Blues"? I heard no blues in any of what was sampled. Dubious 'genre' anyway, as blues scales and chord progressions are too restrictive for a jazzer, so it's a moot subject amongst most musicians, regardless of how industry likes to pigeon hole everything.
not saying its a bad look but its funny how every 40+ yr old dude i know that makes this style of sample based music wears glasses and that hat currently. dope beat, cool vid

So dope to be able to find the time to just be able to work on music, vibe out and let God use us as a vessel to create music.
That's it 🙏🏼

You should hang with the @krekpek crowd for a bit. I'd check out, I reckon.
Thanks
