you can use fresh mint leaves if you have them in the garden..... just add them to the milk/cream in the pan when you warm it (same as tea leaves when you make a cup of tea) .... then just strain them out
you'll not need to use extract from a bottle, and you'll not need the green colouring

Laura so nice to hear your story about your grandma's idea to eat the egg yolks in the morning. Here in Brazil, when we have a flu, my grandma does the same, but she actually add sugar on it and after beaten, we put hot boiled milk and drink it. It's a beverage and people say it helps your immunity system.
