Made this tonight and it's phenomenal!!! I didn't strain the pistachio as I felt the little crumbles added a lovely texture and look to the ice-cream and I also added maybe 2 tbsp more sugar than what the recipe calls for. Overall, an amazing recipe. 👏🏽
Hi Laura!! Can you please tell me what brand Ice cream machine do you use? I’ve come across a few but I’m not sure. Also, you need to know you are truly an inspiration to me. I developed a HUGEEEE passion for cooking after watching your videos as a teenager!! And now I’m 25! ♥️😍
Its pretty hard to find pistachio ice scream in my market area. . This is perfect timing to found your video on how to make this at home. With clear detail instructions on how to, I think I will make my first delicious pistachio ice scream. Thanks buddy😍
Hi Laura, made the pistachio ice cream, my favourite, what do you do with the pistachio nuts you have sieved, can they be used for anything else.? Thanks, from Isle of Wight Uk.
This is my first time watching anything from your channel and I have the SAME EXACT ELECTRIC HAND MIXER AS YOU I’m so excited to start making your recipes!!😋
Dear Laura , 2 tips for you : 1) you can cock the roast pistachio with the milk 20 min' and after that grind them {its became more paste} 2) you can whisk whole eggs and you dont need just egg yolk. by theway I very like your channel ♥
Wow, thank you for sharing! This looks divine and pretty simple. I'm not sure if anyone has already asked but where do you purchase your pistachios? Sometimes it can be hard for me to find really fresh ones.
I actually made ice cream today, but it wasn't a custard. I made a sugar free (with erythritol) coffee ice cream. I did warm it up a bit so the erythretol and instant coffe could disolve. Maybe I will try the pistachio. i am a little troubled about throwing out the pistachios because they are very expensive. But I agree I would want it smooth. I was wondering if it was necessary to toast them. It seemed maybe unnecessary since you would never eat them
Love your videos. Did I read the recipe correctly . 1/3 cup of sugar for 3 3/4 cup liquid and 6 egg yolks? My recipes would use 3/4-1 cup of sugar for this amount.
I serve my ice cream in and put all the leftovers in ramekins and then in freezer. That way you can take them out and eat it without having to scoop it and all. :)
Laura, the moment you made that mistake with not clicking the blade, I subscribed! I do that same error from time to time. But seriously loved this video...
Thank you. It looks amazing but when I went to your website to find the recipe, I was so confused, couldn’t find it and left. I wish you have a “search” field.
I'm glad to see this show's still kicking it. I was like 10yo when I started watching these...Ya boi's almost 21

Same in India.
@kadian webb same in Dominican Republic.
That’s due to food coloring :) pistachios are not naturally lime green haha
Pistachio pudding mix here in the US is the same...not sure why the nut is associated with green but it is🤔
@@zodiacmanan really🤔...

If you go to Italy and can't think of what ice cream flavor to pick, the best bet is always pistachio!

My favorite. Nocciola is a close second 😍
So excited for this recipe! I’m not able to upgrade the video quality more than 360p though , is anyone else getting the same thing?
I'm not able either. 360p is max.
The 360p might be because it was still processing the HD it happens to me sometimes. Hopefully after the 2 hours since u saw it, it already did.
I serve my ice cream in and put all the leftovers in ramekins and then in freezer. That way you can take them out and eat it without having to scoop it and all. :)
how long have you been a lover of laura in the kitchen ?
you didn't say in the video, how do you use all the ground nut mixture after squeezing the liquid from it? In a cake/tarte/ or ?
how long have you been a lover of laura in the kitchen ?
Love your apron!
Hi, did you peel the pistachios?
Thank you I like it

Which brand is your ice cream machine?
Can i use the ice vream churner again right away or do i habe tp freeze it for another 48 hours? I mean if i want to do two flavors at once
When you leave it to soak do you keep it on the heat??
So delicious ❤️
I want to try this, but I’ll have to make a double batch. I have a feeling I’ll be snacking (devouring) along the way.
Hey Laura, could you please tell me where you got that grey dish you used in this video. Have been looking for something like that. Thanks
Laura, the moment you made that mistake with not clicking the blade, I subscribed! I do that same error from time to time. But seriously loved this video...
My fave!!! ( you know when you're early when the resolution is different. ^_^ )
Thank you. It looks amazing but when I went to your website to find the recipe, I was so confused, couldn’t find it and left. I wish you have a “search” field.
I've never had pistachio ice cream. I need to dust off my ice cream maker and give it a try!
pistachios are so expensive where i live 😮. Do you reccommend any other type of nut?
Any nut you wish
Fiddyment Farms on amzn sells them for about .67 an ounce. I eat about a 3 lb bag a month.
Peanuts
Deez Nutz
Pecans are rlly good
any idea of what to do with the strained pistacchios? such a waste?
Laura what brand ice cream maker do you have? It looks like Cuisinart?
Yummy ice cream!
what if I don't have an ice cream machine and don't want to buy one.. can I put the mixture in ice cream molds and freeze them? will it do?!
I'm surprised you didn't throw in some whole pistachios 15 min. before the ice cream maker was done. That being said, I'm totally trying this.
Rita, I agree. I like pistachio pieces in my pistachio ice cream.
That’s what I was thinking 💭 🍽
Can u make pistachio cake also please please please!!
Is there any way i can use salted pistachios?
Thank you
What you do with the pistachio pulp?
Love this flavor, my second favorite. Coffee taking the top spot.
HELLO!!!! CAN YOU PLEASE MAKE DARK CHOCOLATE CHEESECAKE POPSCICLES PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE!!!!!!!!:)
Laura, make cake and cookies with the leftover strained mixture? I bet it will be killer! Thanks!
Could you use a submersion blender on the nut instead of removing?
One of my dad's favorites!
