A few questions: what did you do with the leftover hazelnuts after straining the liquid from them? why not leave them in? and wouldn't a little salt in the recipe be yummy? i love a little salty sweet!
@@MsMegasharon street you dry them and blend them into a flouri would think. Then any recioe that calls for almond flour in cookies you could substitute?
I would not use the grounded hazelnuts, using hazelnut butter work just as good, and you dont have do all that work with grinding the nuts ..ect My uncle was a Italian pastry chef st a high end restaurant and he used hazelnut butter , and pistachio butter to make the ice cream , and everyone loved it Snd that is what they use in Italy at the ice cream shops , their not going to go doing all the work with the nuts
Nice base. For me though, I would actually deepen the flavor more by making a nut butter using freshly roasted hazelnuts..... and then mixing it in with the warm milk+cream, before adding it to the whipped eggs. And then once the ice cream is completed, I serve it on a waffle cone (not sugar cone), and top it with toasted, crumbled hazelnuts...... to further drive the point home, that this is hazel nut ice cream.
I’m new to your channel so I don’t know if you’ve already done coffee ice cream. At 6 years old, I started eating coffee ice cream with my grandmother and have loved it ever since. I’d love to be able to learn by seeing you make coffee ice cream.
I would love to see you make coconut ice cream! 😍 If i'm indulging in an all out ice cream cone experience I always get 1 scoop of hazelnut and 1 scoop of coconut. Its a fantastic combination!
Laura i made your strawberry and vanilla ice cream and my family loved it, i will surely try this too... can you please make mango ice cream as it is mango season...thanks from Pakistan... :)
You know that it's good when you lose your ability to think of adjectives and verbs. But the way Laura looked I'd say this icecream is worth being a proper noun.
We did a turkish delight(rose flavour) and white chocolate icecream once which was very rich but also incredibly tasty, I'd love to see your take on that sort of flavour combo!
Hi Laura, Blackberry or Raspberry ice cream or Lavender ice cream sounds yummy Love your recipes 👍 I’ve made so many of them. For the 4th July I served Rocky Road, Strawberry, Mint chocolate chip and Coffee ice cream for dessert and they were a Hit😊 Love watching your cooking shows! Before I discovered Laura in The Kitchen it seem like I always made the same thing but not anymore, I have learned how to make so many different things. From watching Laura In The Kitchen! Vickie
Yum!! Could you do an orange pineapple ice cream at some point? It's my Dad's favorite and I've tried a couple different recipes but they're never quite right!!
Hey Laura, well done (as always!) I love the consistency you achieved with this Hazelnut Ice Cream! How about a German Chocolate Ice Cream? Thank you again!
you can put your mixture in a glass dish and put it in the freezer.... every 30-45 minutes, go in with a whisk and mix it. keep doing that until it freezes up and turns to ice cream
I think it would be very gritty like sand if you didn't strain out the hazelnut pulp. You could definitely stir in some whole or chopped nuts afterwards though if you wanted.
You could have done it different, I usually turn the hazelnut into a paste in the food processor and use that as the fat content of the ice cream. Keep on with the good work😊😊😊😊😊😊😊
I am baker in the making (9yrs) and you inspired me to make Hazelnut Buttercream!! Thank you so much for the inspiration and your wonderful videos!!!!
YESSSS PISTACHIO NEXT! Please and thank you for this recipe 😃

she didn't leave them inside because the ice cream would be grainy. And also hazelnut would be soft and not crunchy.
LaSopRAWna you can make cookies with the strained hazelnuts. Use them instead of flour

There’s nothing better than nocciola gelato on a hot day in Italy!♥️🍨
What flavor is nocciola?
@@dilpreetsekhon876 its Italian for Hazelnut.
This was amazing! I drizzled in some Nutella as it was churning.

Me to she should do more ice cream and smores recipes for summer.....awesome
She does have recipes for Nutella Popsicles and Nutella Semifreddo (which is very close to ice cream)
for Nutella ice-cream, you just skip the part with the hazelnuts and put some Nutella before putting your mixture inside the fridge.
Yes, I was gonna ask if you could make pistachio ice cream next!!! Can't wait for that video.
That looks and sounds delisshhhh!!! Can you please make ice cream without the machine?

Same question
I think it would be very gritty like sand if you didn't strain out the hazelnut pulp. You could definitely stir in some whole or chopped nuts afterwards though if you wanted.
