You can put your ice cream maker in the freezer a few hours before making your base for the ice cream then when the base is done put the hot base into a large bowl with cold water and ice cubes to help the base cook down faster it will take no longer than 45 minutes to an hour. That will help you not have to wait 24 hours later to make ice cream thank me later ☺️

Honestly, I made this. My milk simmered, split, and had curdled, I just strained out the curdled part, used the milk in my ice cream, and moved on with life. My icecream turned out so good. So I wouldn't worry if your milk curdled just use it anyway. (it's save to eat).

Pour mixture into container freeze for 90 mins, whisk mixture till no lumps, freeze 45 mins, whisk mixture, freeze 30 mins, whisk mixture, freeze 30 mins, whisk mixture, freeze 30 mins whisk mixture put in covered container
Laura said you can make it without an ice cream machine but it will really time consuming. You will have to whisk it, take it out of the freezer every 45 minutes. You have to do for 5-7 hours until your ice cream is frozen solid. It's best if you use an ice cream machine to make the job a lot faster.
