hello from texas. just wanted to say that you were a huge reason why i got my rebel 500 last month. passed the msf first try and now im a daily rider, and absolutely love it. but it was also good to hear in this video that motorcycling can be such an inconvenience, i felt like i had to be ride or die but now i feel better about sometimes dreading a ride. and thanks for the pep talk about chasing dreams, much needed. soon i want to join the patreon and give back for the ways you have helped me. you are just so raw and honest and it makes people feel less alone in their struggles. you rock and i hope for the best for you and nina.
Been watching you., Quasimortard, and the ride of a lifetime since June. I'm a stay at home dad and hope to get a motorcycle license this year. The rebel1100 dct is what sold me. Your video of showing your girlfriend how to ride was amazing and showed your true gift. Your a teacher. Have a most excellent year.
My word for 2024 is adventure. Started watching your videos this year as I was dreaming about riding. I just bought my first bike at 46, for Christmas. Took the MSF and got my endorsement. Learning to ride and hope to get a couple moto-camping trips in this year. Cheers!
Providing useful info and insights to new riders, rebel owners, ect. and providing riding videos for us Canadians who wont be able to ride until April / May at the earliest. Super thrilled your channel exists
Awesome videos, brother. You're the reason why I'm opting to get a rebel 1100t as my first bike. Your tutorial on parts and upgrades super helpful and definitely an eye opener when I get my rebel. Kudos to you and your lady, #rebelpowercouple .
Man watching this progression the past year has been a blast to watch. You got me into motorcycling and inspired me to pass the MSF and get my license. All be it a little late in the year lol I cant wait to see what all next year holds, and I hope that I can ride more when the weather is better haha Thank you for the content!
That’s so awesome dude! Congrats on starting your riding journey!! Definitely stoked to have been a part in that. Thanks for being here and have a happy and healthy 2024! 🙌🏻🎉🙏🏻
That intro though… beautiful! Here’s hoping you get that 100k this year!! Scotland would also be awesome!!! Very cool Huge thanks for the call out brother! Appreciate you man.
Towards Scotland! Thank you for all of the videos this year, it's nice to hear you working toward your dreams :) First rule of business - keep your overheads low, especially interest payments. Keep us informed on the UK trip. I am sure there are people over here who would lend you a bike for a couple of weeks if we can sort the insurance.
travel while you can....I told my children to have their adventures while they are young...once a mortgage and children come along, it gets much harder. My youngest did a trip to Patagonia a few years ago. so proud of her.
Happy New Year, man! been watching for a long time (just quiet in the corner) and wish great things for 2024! and PS - I'm not only a Rebel fan, but owned 3 MX-5s, then a Supra, now I want to go back to the MX-5). My motto for the new year is, "It's not that things happen for a reason, it's learning that our response to things has a purpose."
2024 is just under 2hrs a way up here(im from canada) and i cannot wait to start off the new year im turning 25 in 2 days and this is the year where i get my motorcycle license and a bike(goin for a big cruiser like a kawisaki vulcan 800 or 1100 im a stout fella). and gonna work on my health mentally and physically cheers to a new year everyone and too you burch always excited when a new vid drops and cant wait to see what crazy hijinks you get into this year man.
Happy New Year to you and the misses!!! Can't wait to see what 2024 brings, sounds like it could be more epic than 2023. I to can relate to being good at my job but wanting more, knowing I'm capable of doing better for myself, it's creators like you that inspired me to start my own channel. My goal for 2024 is to hit that 1000subs milestone, continue to ride motorcycles, and get better at things that I started last year.
Happy New Year. Can’t wait to see what you and Nina are up to this year. I just bought my 2023 1100T the beginning of Dec. I did get one short ride in before the weather got cold. But I can not wait yo get back out on her. I’m So excited. Because of your Rebel and how much I liked the mods you have done I was back and forth on which one to get but ultimately I decided on the 1100T. I figured this Rebel riding Grandma doesn’t need to be tinkering on a bike. lol. I will change the exhaust though. Anyway I’m looking forward to see what’s up for you in 2024. Ride safe.
Hey buddy, just wanted to say great job. Get 20 or 40 ft. Ship container to put on property as your work shop. That’s what I started with , you can secure, put in insulation, air conditioning, electrical, for lighting etc. I bought scl500 in orange too, have done some of your mods . Count on my input.
For cross country trips... Plan on taking back-roads instead of interstate. Our country's highway systems are beautiful. It will take about a third as long to get where you want to be, but the trip is so, so worth the time. For the garage/shed... Make a deal with the land owner that if they put in the concrete slab, you'll build the garage. You can do that yourself for way under the $10k you're planning to spend. There are a ton of videos here on the '-tube showing exactly how it's done and all the things you need to do for a solid, secure, inspection-passing building.
Happy new year man! I was thinking a fun vid could be going through and showing us the bikes you’ve saved on Facebook marketplace that you either decided to pass on or couldn’t get in time 😂 Looking forward to another great year of your vids!
I live just south of you in Southern MD. There is a ton of good riding a few hours west in rural Virginia and West Virginia. No need to do a cross country trip for an adventure. Good luck with the channel in ‘24! Hope to attend one of your events this year.
I hope one day you guys can come over to WA-State. I recently sold my decked out rebel 300 to a guy who was just getting started. Unfortunately the bike was a luxury and I'm working on finally buying out my leased Tacoma, but one day in the near future I'm hoping to either grab a Rebel 500 or 1100 and ideally just staying with that bike forever! Glad to be apart of this journey of both of yours and seeing it from the near beginning!
I am glad I found your channel this year. Seeing a RUclipsr who lives relatively close and likes the bikes that I do is nice. I ended up jumping from a 750 to an 1100 this year due to your video. It was a 1100T and I do love it, just wish I could afford more stuff for it. If you want to take a longer trip, why not head down to the Wheels through time museum, see if you can make a video there and then head back.
Congrats on the 1100T!! So stoked that my video helped play a role in you getting that! Wheels Through Time would definitely be a great trip. I’ll have to keep that in mind 🤘🏻
Would love to see some long trips! There’s something different about doing a long distance trip that connects you with your bike, the road, and the elements. Looking forward to 2024!
Always look forward to your videos, Burch. It’s really cool to see you figure things out and live your best life. Just joined your Patreon to help chip in a little bit 👍 Wishing you all the best in the new year!
Making me want to quit my job and get that teaching certificate that I've been wanting to get, but never finding the time to start. Maybe I will this year 👀
Its been fun year watching your shennanigans. Here's to another. Side note: Funny enough, I was dreading even going to like a town an hour away on my bike on the highway, and then I found the secret. Screw highways man, state roads are the way. Sure you lose some time, but theres so much more to be seen AND its usually not just a long straight boring ride.
Yea anything other than highways is always the answer! I’d rather the trip take twice as long, but have it all scenic and sweeping backroads 🙌🏻 Thanks for the continued support man! 🤘🏻
So grateful that I found this channel! First video I ever saw was on the shorty gp exhaust for your 1100, and that inspired me to build mine! Hopefully one day I’ll ride out and get to meet you, you living legend! 💯
Do you do a video with you Honda 1100 upgrades? I’m mainly really interested in the first saddlebags you had along with the sissy bar! Would love some info if possible! Love the content it’s awesome!
Hey man! I would love to hear a slightly more long term review of the seat you bought as I’m actually looking at the same one myself as I’m about to be doing a 1200km trip soon!
You ever thought of checking out the cb300r? Would be very interested in what you think about it compared to the grom and rebel 300. And congrats on the channel it's one of my favorites
Yo Birch, I’m new to the channel and I’m enjoying the content brotha! I’ve shuffled through some of your videos looking to see if you addressed your license plate/brake light mod. That’s the Burly brand plate correct ? I read a comment that it doesn’t have a led illuminating the plate but yours does? Reply to me with the link if you went over the install please and thank you
@lifeofburch just to let you know I just noticed that I haven’t seen any videos in a while. I found out that RUclips had unsubscribed to your videos. I subscribe again.
Damn for real?! I’ve heard of that happening to other creators, but this is a first for me 😳 I appreciate you going out of your way to come back and re-sub!! 🙏🏻 Have a great new year man!
If you're gonna spend the money on the shed, you might as well buy an empty lot to actually build it on. Property tax is gonna be way cheaper and when you want to upgrade you can actually sell it.
So was you talking about the water pump replacement on your rebel? What’s the issue with that? I have a 22’ rebel 1100 so if there’s an issue to keep an eye for I’m all ears.
How many miles are on the bike now! Just watched your vid about this bike from two years ago I wonder how it’s holding up it seems great!!! I’m looking to buy my first bike.
So, i stumbled upon your channel recently because i want to get into riding... I've never done it... I'm 6' 320lbs... What's a good beginner bike for big guy like me?
That would definitely be ideal, but whatever I end up with would also have to be my daily driver. So leaning towards truck/SUV for now to look a little less “kidnap-y” 😅😂
Have you considered uber eats or door dash, maybe even uber or lyft, for extra income when you can't ride? You could still make money in bad weather and only work when you want.
I rode 1000 miles on my Zuma 125 last year(23hrs 45 min). Try doing that on nearly all backroads small cc bike. It’s a challenge that might make a great video. People like crazy
Looking to buy a Rebel 1100 this summer and I have watched the exhaust install videos like 500 times each. Based purely on sound would you stick with Coffman’s or go back to TBR?
Can anyone help me find the video or just name the seat that's on the 1100 here? I can't seem to find anything on it, but I love the low profile passenger + high saddle for driver
I forgot about the Miata! Will you be heading to Miatas at the Gap this year? Would love to see you at a subscriber meetup or something. I've got an emerald green NB on bronze wheels too lol
Lol just watched the rest of the video. Hope you don't sell it! First time I went to MATG, I brought my title with me because I thought I was ready to sell it. Had so much fun, decided to keep it
I forgot about Miatas At The Gap! If I still have it by then I may try to make the trip. I definitely don’t want to sell it because it’s so much damn fun…but I just can’t afford two cars right now and a truck is becoming a real necessity. Fingers crossed I can find a truck cheap enough that I’m able to keep the Miata 🤞🏻🤞🏻🤞🏻
Burch, sell the miata get a Ford Ranger. They are the Miata of trucks. They're cheaper than Miatas. You can lower them suuuper easily wich A: looks cool af and B: makes loading bikes easier and less sketch.
It’s been a crazy year and I can’t wait to walk into 2024 with you!!🤍So proud!
Happy New Year everyone! Put your dreams in motion this year✨⭐️
Our years just keep getting crazier and crazier, and I wouldn’t have it any other way!! 🧡🧡🧡

Happy New Year! Didn’t think a motovlog could be so addictive. Bought a Can-Am Ryker this year. Partly encouraged by your rides.

Hey man! I would love to hear a slightly more long term review of the seat you bought as I’m actually looking at the same one myself as I’m about to be doing a 1200km trip soon!

I don't do the annual resolution thing, but my goal has been to take long road trips on my bike.

have you heard of any lower leg fairings for the rebel 1100?

I definitely don’t want to sell it because it’s so much damn fun…but I just can’t afford two cars right now and a truck is becoming a real necessity. Fingers crossed I can find a truck cheap enough that I’m able to keep the Miata 🤞🏻🤞🏻🤞🏻
What seat is this/ whered youd get the one piece setup??
Sorry to bother but I was wondering what gloves you use?
Maybe I should buy the Miata from you… 😉
You need an "insane" word counter on this video.
🤠
🤘🏻😎🤘🏻
Burch, sell the miata get a Ford Ranger. They are the Miata of trucks. They're cheaper than Miatas. You can lower them suuuper easily wich A: looks cool af and B: makes loading bikes easier and less sketch.
Also, there's so much you can do to a Ranger that there's plenty of content opportunity.
