- We did spend about 2 hours running around in Suicidal missions just to accidentally find 3 samples. We switched to Impossible to continue for 2 more just to again, accidentally bump into it. However, we figured it out. I hope this is helpful and easy way for you to get it too! Enjoy!

thanks for the tip, i got super sample in quickplay, i use tank armor and my squadmates using light armor on warbond page 6 or 7, he manage to get us 5 samples every mission, the biggest advantage is to use that armor that i mention so you can move fast and has a very low profile so that enemys can evevn notice u easily, with this he can take samples very fast
How do I get this armor?
You don't even need that particular armor, there's light armor with the scout perk by default for every character.
I have to admit that the intro caught me off guard there!
i found 4 out of 5 super samples on a spore tower, they usually have a lot of all sample types around the base of the tower. just nuke it from long range with autocannon or EATs, kill the bugs that are gonna be runnin towards you from it and get samples
you can do it solo, dont shoot dont use call ins except jumppack and look for the stone formation go there take the juicy stuff and go out. Use search and destroy missions, enough time to grab what you need and the dropship comes at its own.
Fascinating, I saw one of those silver veined spots on a map at a trivial mission. Didn't seem to have anything to it but an odd design, no samples of any level or bugs guarding it. Good to know it wasn't some random one off thing!

It changes based on world btw. New stone/ice planet we found 3 missions back to back under a smooth stone pillar that was small at the base then larger up top. Very easy to find.
We havent left the main region since "tHe oBjEcTiVe!" but I will definitely check it out once we move out. Thank you for the tip!

It's possible to find it on the map. It helps if you're on a very colourful planet instead of a snowy planet, because you're looking for a very small silver colored spot on the map. It takes some getting used to
I have the biggest problems with sand maps personally. It does take some time getting used to indeed.

thx a lot great info, managed to extract it solo stealth without compleating the objectives but it doesnt give me the samples not shure if its because the servers are fckd or it doesnt give you the samples if you fail all the main objectives
I believe it was because of the servers. Unfortunate outcome. They did post they are heavily focusing on servers and increased max capacity yesterday.
What about automatons mission, we lurked everything, but didnt find. What kind of structure there? Maybe Sauron tower?

Another tip: At the moment, there is a glitch where the pelican will leave at the end of the mission with only the first person to get on it. Allow that first person to always be the person carrying the super samples and drop the samples to that person or you might not get them. It’s a precaution that I’ve taken twice already and one of those times I encountered that glitch and wouldn’t have been able to keep the super samples otherwise.
We do the same thing for a different reason. We all gather the samples on one person or somewhere close the landing zone so in case of death the samples are not scattered across the map. Thank you for the tip! I didn´t know about the bug.
Can anyone explain where they’re at then if I find the rock and it doesn’t have the samples? Is there another rock with it then?
There is a chance to get a rock without the samples. Just keep looking, the rock is somewhere!

What modules specifically require super samples?
Super samples are required for Tier 3 upgrades of all modules and Tier 2 upgrades of sentry upgrades.

I had a Mission where my mates and i escaped with like 20 samples. But the Game bugged out and didnt give us anything when we finished the mission. If i go on the highest difficulty i want my reward at the end.

Armour is "Hero of the Federation" and helmet is "Cavalier of Democracy".
I'm now trying to unlock the suicide missions but gave up because I work amd yesterday I almost did it with a random then he started to throw the game and when we failed it started me all the way over. I gave up because I don't have time

Any idea where super samples spawn on automaton planets yet?
I found some at the very edge of a map around some rocks similar to the ones he was talking about lol like the game devs couldn't put these samples under like two bio titans but instead hide these motherfuckers really hard

There are different kind of rocks that have these samples. But maybe they look a bit different cuz I only play solo helldiver difficulty.
I am about to release second video regarding this topic and the only thing that is different is the colour scheme. The shape is still the same.

What about on robot missions?
It is still the same. You are still looking for a rock that had silver veins in it. It is quite easy to spot on the red planet. I played the jungle planet only once so far and it was at night so I do have to say it was quite difficult to spot it.
I need to know where to find more common samples...
We are having the same issue. Rare samples are more common than common ones...
is it better to go solo?
It doesn´t matter. The rock is still there with the same amount of samples.
Man iam never going to be able to get those samples I get rolled on anything above hard

Where are super samples on automaton worlds?
We found the same structures on "the red planet" and many more other Terminid worlds. So far it is still the silver veiny rock.

That is true. Secondly, Helldivers are going to get a "fix" where difficulties 7,8 and 9 are "too easy"... We have no clue what does that mean.

Amazing game , top bad servers dont work properly on ps5 , keeps crashing during missions, then its a pain to get on again...i heard PC version works better...a Sony studio production and they seem to CARE more about PC ...cant believe That i pré ordered...but The game is amazing...when it works

I bought it on pc but refunded and bought it for ps5 instead because i thought it worked better on there. Worst mistake of my life
Hard to say how MUCH better it is on PC, because tonns of people having issues with matcmaking on PC as well - constant crashes of you alone or the whole team (especially frustrating happening at the end of the mission earning you nothing), the ever breaking matchmaking which can only be fixed with reloading the game. Chargers often Ice Skating across the field.
Right now servers are completely dead for over 12 ours already with lucky few people who could still play it but because the servers were kind of dead so they didn't earn anything and couldn't spend anything as well.
So maybe they are focusing the updates on PC first, but don't be sad - it doesn't really work that much better on PC if better at all.
What concerns me more is balance - it is harder to fix I believe.
Bugs AI being weird sometimes - barely biting you running through a huge horde of everything possible and sometime a single little bug staggering you non stop every halfsecond not giving you the option to heal and killing (or helping killing) you in one second from full health. Rocket Damage being weird sometimes - killing titans and charges in one sloppy barelly connecting hit and not killing with 10 straight to the target hits or rocket turret failing to kill the tiniest bug (there was no one else left) with 4 rockets and only killing with 5th, becase it fails to track normally and splash damage is non existent I guess. Like honestly - light and medium weapons are killing huge armored bugs better then any rockets and artillery combined... okey artillery is semigood because it is still more reliable then rockets, but still often fail to kill chargers even with direct hits. The autocannon is a jack of all trades, it can destroy 90 percent of things that can be destoyed with relative ease and bassically from any distance.
Ya PC broke AF too so don't worry bout it. They just need to do some fixing and it be good

We just love the game so much many of us just ignore it and still play the game.
