  • Unboxing and review of the Bosch 950 polisher. This is one of the best professional car polishing machines that you can buy for home or commercial car polishing.
    This video will help you understand what you get when you buy this and how it works. There's also a small demo towards the end where you can see the final results after polishing the car with the Bosch GP950 polisher.
    Overall, I think it's a great budget car polisher that does it's job pretty well. And with Bosch, you can be rest assured that the product will work as expected.

      Yes, you can clean window glasses as well. Go light on the glasses. Do not apply lot of force.

    Do you think this vertical type machine is better than the horizontal one for example Stanley sp137?

    • @TheGlovesMan
      @TheGlovesMan  Год назад +1

      I don't think it makes a lot of difference. I could polish the doors properly even with this vertical machine. I have used the horizontal one as well and I I think usability wise, both do a good job.

      @@TheGlovesMan thanks.. i was about to buy the stanley as it was available for ~₹5.5k.. but not available now and price got hiked to 7.9k. bosch is available for 7.2k.. so got confused

    Have you tried using backing plates of different diameters. Can you suggest some that fit onto this eqpt. Preferebly for 3” and 4” pads

    • @TheGlovesMan
      @TheGlovesMan  7 месяцев назад

      No, I have not tried it personally. But I don't think that will fit. Most backing plates have screw like mechanism. This one has a slightly different attachment type with nuts 🔩.
      I use my regular portable drill when i want to use smaller backing plates and pads. Check my other video where I've shown how to use a drill as a polish machine.

      @@TheGlovesMan Well doubt clarified by bosch tech support … M14 threaded plates 5” 6” and 7” do fit the polisher but the smaller ones need an M14 extension bar sold separately by bosch.

      This is going great. I've polished my cars multiple times with this.
      I'm not sure about the other brand, but this particular product will definitely last long.

    Great review, all very clear. Particularly helpful that you showed all the parts and pieces up close. Thanks. The only thing missing from your review that would have been helpful is WHERE its made. Turns out made in CHINA (not Germany) which affects longevity and ultimately price. When buying German made products, cost is typically much higher but often worth it in performance and durability. Whereas made in CHINA (even branded products) are mostly made "under license" so, in effect you get cheap chinese product that wears the Bosch branding under license. This makes the item, in my judgmennt, TOO COSTLY for what it is. Buy made in China no brand product for about 80% less cost and probably get about the same performance and durability/longevity.

      @TheGlovesMan  Год назад

      Hi William, I don't think the durability matters on where the product is made. These days, factories across the globe follow standards laid down by the main company. So essentially, you'll get the same quality product even if its manufactured elsewhere.

    Bhai swirl marks and minor sctraches sirf foam pad and polishing se remove ho skte hai ja fir compounding hi soution hai ?
    Pls detail mien batiye ?
    2 question- maine ek vdo mien dekha tha ek bhai wool pad se polishing kar rhe the per Maine suna hai ki wool pad swirl marks chord deta hai (matlab ki wool pad k marks pard jate hai on paint)! Is it true ?

    • @TheGlovesMan
      @TheGlovesMan  4 месяца назад +1

      Sirf foam and polishing se nikal jaata hai. Compounding will be too hard on minor swirl and scratch marks. Clear coat nikal jaayega bahut saara with compounding.
      I would suggest to use the polish that I've recommended in the description section. That's the best thing.
      Woolpad waise major swirls and scratches p e kaam ata hai.. it does not leave swirls.
      Pur aap foam pad hi use karna.

      The machine is just amazing. I don't think it will go bad that easily.
      Bosch is a very reliable brand. Their products work without service for years.

    Can it be used as a drill also?

    • @TheGlovesMan
      @TheGlovesMan  3 месяца назад

      Yes, but for drilling into soft surfaces only. Don't expect this to work on masonry, steel, etc. For that, you'll need a larger size machine.
      The one in this link will be a good choice - amzn.to/3vGKzWh
