Drake albums since views are long-winded and boring. Every album he dropped before views sounded like a real album with proper focus, hunger and execution. I remember a time when i could name you almost all of drakes deep cuts from so far gone up on to Iyrtitl but ever since views dropped he has painfully been using these very formulaic sounds and familiar bpms and after a while for as many albums and songs he has dropped since views... whats the point of returning to most of those deep cuts if most of them are gonna sound similar or feel familiar. Alot of the deep cuts on views, more life, scorpion, dldt, clb and Her loss, either sounds like a watered down version or a bad version of take care or ntws. Dldt sounds like a bad version of take care and views and her loss sounds like a bad version take care and nwts. Most songs on views, more life, scorpion sound like a bad and watered down version of ntws. Clb reminded me of views and a bit of so far gone but not in a good way. Imagine if kurt cobain didn't die and kept dropping albums that sounded very familiar to bleach, nevermind, and in utero after a while it gets kinda old, redundant and underwhelming. Now, Imagine if kanye did the same thing it would be the same headache but even Kanye knew he had to steer away from sounding too much like college dropout and late reg and potentially sounding the same on his 8th album. That's where im at with drakes whole career, he just keeps making watered down and bad versions of his older material at this point. Clb is bad and her loss isn't as bad but at the end of the day there is really no real reason to return to that album, besides hearing him be watered down version of his old self with a few 21 savage moments in between. On top of all that he can't sing well in my opinion. As far as cole goes i feel the same way about his career as well. Ever since fhd he has produced most of his album and he's honestly not talented enough to consistently excite me production wise. I think the majority of people and hip hop outlets would not put cole in there top 20, 30, 40 or 50 hip hop producers list. Every album since forest hills has been a chore to get through. Most of the beats dont move me or slap like that and his rhythming has a way of putting you in a coma from his wordplay to his energy and flows. Overall i think he is still technically better than drake but barely and thats the problem. He needs to wake up out of dreamville and let other producers take full control and just focus on the rhymes. He should be way more entertaining than he comes off or elite as well lyrically. He's more capable than what he has given us. He doesn't go above and beyond with his production and creativity, its just annoying and he really needs another undeniable album this year that other people enjoy besides just the core fans cole. Then there is kendrick and the two problems i have with him are his terrible animated voices and his beat selection which can be worse than both drakes and coles. There is the real kendrick and then there's the pitchfork kendrick. I just need him to stop the pitchfork hip hop and make real hip hop. Lyrically the guy is a fantastic storyteller and is really one of the best ever in that area. Albums like s80 and gkmc are still in my rotation but man as he gotten worse and worse with each release. He doesn't even sound like kendrick anymore. He sounds like he needs stop going for critical acclaim and just make music, shot from the hip, dont take long breaks or make complex songs or albums, enough is enough we've heard it and we dont care for it and don't throughly enjoy it for real or instinctively like the music but just respect the effort or being different. Kendrick needs to take and rap on more trendier beats, make it his own but stop experimenting. He needs to use his voice he had between 2011 and 2013 on all the rest of his albums from here on out or they will automatically be terrible albums. Other than that i still think hes better than both drake and cole combined lyrically and i have zero shame in saying that at all, its the voices and beat selection that keep him from topping west coast legends and other legends in the game and the flows he trys can be bad as well and have mostly been bad since 2013 besides probably the damn. era but still wasn't all the way there, like it could. Truthfully, Kendrick, Cole and Drake are all overrated in there own way but this generation only knows these guys material without diving into, missy elliot, gangsta boo, t.i., game, kool g rap, ll cool j, cube, spice 1, ghostface, doom etc.. Personal rank. Objective rank. 1. Drake. 1. Kendrick 2. Kendrick. 2. Cole 3. Cole. 3. Drake (only because he has technically dropped alot more trash songs and albums than cole and kendrick and got caught with a ghostwriter but personally, im putting on drake before any kendrick after gkmc and any cole after forest hills.

And imma drop you a hot take right now, even though k dot is the better storyteller, 4 your eyes only is the best storytelling song of modern hip-hop, i'm talking better than duckworth or sing about me...
Same with Cole peak years cuz it def was 2014-21 with him
Cole never admitted to being bronze . In fact In that very same song he stated he's the best . Y'all gotta analyze lyrics better
I feel Views is a sleeper classic imo but love this video they my three goats as well 👍🏾
I didn’t like views that much, but sometimes I go back to it and realize it wasn’t as bad as I thought it was back then..they are my 3 favorites as well, Thanks for your feedback bro, it’s much appreciated 🙏🏾🤝🏾
The only Debate is Kendrick vs J Cole
Em eats both lmao
I got respect for these 3 for what they do. Put Coast Contra in the mix let them make music !!! That be dope !!!🔥🔥🔥
Can we please give Wale some love
WALEEEE????
Drake is the best songwriter ever in terms of hits. Kendrick is great at story telling. And cole is one of the best rapper / producers ever.
Em
@@bjpoe ?? Lol
Drake doesn’t not even deserved to be mentioned with these two as rappers. Unless you’re just talking straight popularity and pop music
🧢
Dope video
Thanks, appreciate it.
instrumental?
I respect your opinion man but saying 4YEO was not that good of a project is crazy
The last song on 4YEO really summed up the album and I think that’s one of his best story telling tracks, but the album as a whole just didn’t hit for me. Still had some great moments on there though.
I agree. 4 your eyes was a dope album. anyone who disagrees doesn't know music.
Wish i could tag everyone bc no one even tryna mention how badly em would molish them all at once, they was all influenced by him too but yeah he from an older era, lmaoooooo
... and then J Cole apologized for dissing Kendrick.
If Em was black that video wouldn’t exist.
Just if em tried in general to care anymore or prove anything anymore shit would be so clear hes the goat like literally 😂 tf i be thinking like NO ONE knows or even is mentioning em and how badly he would bruise these mfs
As long as Kendrick has a Pulitzer drake and j. Cole will forever be underneath his feet
if you think 2017-2021 j cole peak, you tweakin🤣
you're a true blog era kid like me lol
These are all fair takes
KOD dropped in 2018
Friday Night Lights was supposed to Be his first album But Jay z Basically said hell nah.🤦🏾♂️🤦🏾♂️🤦🏾♂️
Cole is still in his peak
💯🔥💵
Thanks ☝🏾
Drake 🐐 🦉
1. Drake. 1. Kendrick
2. Kendrick. 2. Cole
3. Cole. 3. Drake (only because he has technically dropped alot more trash songs and albums than cole and kendrick and got caught with a ghostwriter but personally, im putting on drake before any kendrick after gkmc and any cole after forest hills.
This is a great analysis. I appreciate your perspective. Thanks 🙏🏾
stop saying we
Drake = GMO Rap
had to thumb down this video because you didn't analyze Coles bars properly, Cole specifically said they threw the bronze at me, with emphasis on they, not he accepts the bronze, he also then goes on to say he is the best in the very same song
Please stop comparing Drake to K Dot and Cole . Meek would have done Drake bad if he wanted to . Meek would have been black balled for sure . Drake got to many wack albums to be a on K Dot or Cole level .
Meek took a huge L, his response wasn’t that great.. and I don’t think he’s in the same class as Drake, Cole, Kendrick.. Lyrically I think Meek mill is up there with them.. but in terms of albums and other things I think he’s a class below Drake, Kendrick and Cole.
I would take Big Sean over Meek.
Appreciate your response 🙏🏾
@@DrewEvans9 Naw , I’ll take Meek over Sean . I actually feel sorry for Sean after what Kendrick did to him and Drake on the Heart Part IV . But Drake deserved it . Sean is mad corny to me he tries to come with bars but his delivery is just bad .
@@slikron8536 🧢
The heck you talking about? Thats like saying Nas can’t be compared to Kanye or HOV for goat because he has wack albums. Drake has the most hits all time and 3 classics minimum.
@@leandroportillo1234 Nas has arguably 2 classics out the gate . Drake is stealing from the culture he’s a Volture feeding off urban America . Nobody wants to hear him rapping and singing about break ups . He keeps making horrible music year after year trying to full fill that record deal so he could careless about quality . He sits in the studio with a team of bad writers and can’t even come up with nothing . He should call Kanye , Jay Z or Kendrick or Cole to help write . His time has passed.
All of you hip hop commentary channels have the same boring voice and opinions I swear 🙄
Honestly bro I just appreciate you for taking the time to respond. Your feedback is appreciated 🤝🏾 pos or neg. Thanks
Back to back was trash
Pusha killed him
Kendrick killed him subliminally
That boy washed
You think back to back was trash? Man that’s one of the best disses in modern hip hop, I think.
I agree with everything else though lol.
ArkaRat face? Lol u lost me there for interviews, his the last person I wanna see do a interview with them.
It’s very easy 1 Drake 2 Cole 3 Kendrick
You’re wrong he said THEY THREW the bronze at me j cole is the goat man stop sleeping
If you read my pinned comment I corrected myself. I still think J Cole is Number 3 behind Drake & Kendrick. Appreciate your feedback 🤝🏾
Drake = fem Rap he doo doo now
