Then i used a 1 gal garden sprayer with mineral spirits to dissolve or 'burn' the release powder to the curb. The next day i sprayed 2 coats of sealer on the curb. You're right I didn't show it. But the curb university guy shows the burning and the sealing in a number of his videos. If you expand the video description, you'll see I link some videos to the mineral spirits and sealing to the borderline guy.
The first video in the series is the final result. But I think the front is about 2 in the back is like 3-1/2. The front is more or less level with the grass and provides a good mowing or weed whacking edge.
I bought at May 27th, so that must have been like the memorial weekend sale. The curber was on sale and I received in the monthly flyer those $100 discount cards which they let me use in addition to the sale price.
@@timgoihl Thanks... That's the date I'll try to hold out for. I don't know when the last time I received a $100 coupon card. I get the $5, $10 and $20 every month. Is the Bordline Curb Gravy and Kanga Piss necessary? Did the Kanga Piss help with the curb's finish? You mentioned that the eBay stamp rollers might be easier for a beginner than the Borderline rollers. How do you think they might be easier?
All supplies are listed in the comments belows the video - click ShowMore www.borderlineusa.com/stamp-rollers-1 There are some on eBay that are 6in wide and might work better for a beginner.
@@timgoihl Thank you for the ebay suggestion because borderline is super expensive but worried about the quality of the ebay rollers and if they would hold up and not get deformed
Don't worry about the price. You're saving so much money by doing it yourself the investment in the big picture minimal. Plus there's a good chance you could sell them after your project is done. Or do one job for a neighbor and all your equipment is paid for!
I didn't see you spray the curb
I thought you were to spray the curb before doing the dye
Do you spray before or after dye
Trowel smooth, roll on release powder, do texture roller, blow off excess powder.

It's hard to determine from the video, I would of like to see how high the final product is from grade
