Its all the exact same... All 3 got involved with a guy, did some behaviors with a guy then went their separate ways.... Then months later, all 3 of them randomly decided they were assaulted... In my opinion, this shows all 3 of them were fine with the initial encounters, and were manipulated later on, by friends or other influencers, that what happened to them was abuse... And being that becoming a victim is so enticing these days, who could turn down the opportunity for views, pity, and attention!

i dont understand why no one talks about him not listening to her safe word? as soon as that is said consent is revoked and the action must be stopped, wilbur continuing is after is considered abuse. that's why she said she consented biting until it started hurting which is when they agreed on a safe word meaning she wasnt okay with being bit till she was hurt.
about all biting hurting- if you bit your finger you can apply a certain amount of pressure until it gets uncomfortable and is painful. Same with slapping, too much hurts but up until a certain point it is bearable/nice for the person who enjoys it. Thats why a lot of people who are into that sorta stuff use safe words to indicate when to stop

I think there's definitely a difference between a playful/light bite that probably wouldn't hurt very much if at all versus chomping down on someone to cause pain. Shubble said she didn't have an issue with the biting inherently, but with the fact that he would bite down extremely hard and even tighten his grip after she had said an agreed upon safe word that signaled him to stop. It seems like he knew what he was doing and was intentionally causing her pain past her comfort level, which is abuse.

@@dOnT_quEStioN-8.7 That's true but other female creators have come out and corroborated Shubble's story from what I've seen. Plus, it's pretty much impossible to provide concrete evidence in situations like these unless he literally admits that the force he used to bite her was non-consensual, and if he is guilty he would have an incentive to lie for obvious reasons. Either way, I wasn't claiming that Shubble's recounting of things is 100% correct, I was just countering the point he made in the video that if she consented to some light biting then that must mean she consented to forceful biting too.
I think what she maybe would have meant by "it was consensual in the beginning" is that maybe she just tolerated it, because I think she said before that in the beginning, he asked before he did it, and then over time it slowly descended into him forcing himself onto her. It honestly very much is a pretty gray area of whether biting can be abuse or not, because some people have biting as a "fun time" kink, but if the biting turned into something nonconsensual, and it legitimately hurt her and gave her bruises, and he would not stop no matter what, then I think at that point it leans more towards abuse, because human bites can be painful as hell.

She was fine with it at the start because he wasn't hurting her. However, he started to go too far and it started to hurt her. Then she revoked the consent for him biting but he still did it, anyway.
@@Disearned Yeah, I think she said that in the beginning he told her that it was just a normal habit for him and that his mom even confirmed it for her, although I think it’s a bit weird that his mom would let him continue that kind of habit.

I think people are forgetting that many others have spoken out against Wilbur, even in the past content they have released, even if it wasn’t taken in a negative light back then (for some reason). I saw a clip from one of Niki’s stream from around 2022 and it had her mention that he had bit her, and a more recent clip from Billzo saying how uncomfortable he was around him. This isn’t a thing that people made up for attention, this is an ongoing issue of abuse that people overlook because of how much they love this guy. Yikes.

Nope. As multiple people has come out before shuble, his entitled simping fans just brushed off. Even in his songs he admits to abusing others. It's not a he said she said, when many others claim he did bad things to them as well.

Only Will’s mid tier friends have spoke out against him, people like Phil and Tommy have said nothing directly about him, only about shubble. Will’s closest friends (his band and others in that friend group) still hang out with him and they even mentioned recently in an interview that James Marriott is still a friend of theirs. Shubble has not provided an ounce of evidence to her claims and the community eats it up like they always have, people in that community condemning him aren’t properly his friends, they’re acquaintances. Blatant clout chasing. He didn’t admit to anything, there’s no evidence he did what he’s been accused of. Stop spreading misinformation.

Part of me is also confused why were just blindly believing Shubble? Im curious as to your opinion on this. Shubble has come out with ab*se allegations with at least 2 (maybe 3? I cant remember I apologize) content creators. She dated them and then immediately afterwards when the relationship ended, accused them of SA with no evidence and such. I also find it strange how Shubble is completely aware of the fact that a portion of her fanbase regularly harasses and death threats other creators and innocent people (2 people have already been confirmed dead I do not know their names so I apologize for that, I actually dont have proof on me of it happening but Ive seen several other content creators talk about it I will try and find one of them I sincerely apolgoize however if I cant) but yet she has done nothing on the matter. Shes aware of this, because she liked a tweet telling Will to k1l himself. Im not saying that Shubble can stop it. But at least acknowledging it and apologizing would be nice and add more credibility towards her. Theres just no evidence from both sides and neither have many credibility to their name. Its just so strange to me honestly

With the "biting not hurting" bit, playfully biting in relationships is normal, people do it all the time, its just that if you consent to it, you consent to it being biting softly so it doesnt cause any pain or damage, when you have a safe word established and it is said, your hurting them and should stop.

It’s just what all influencers and social media users do😭 Probably because she holds bad blood with him and wants everyone she possibly can to know her side of things rather than handle it properly. This goes for all influencers, they can never have private drama and sort conflict amongst themselves. People also going thru all this drama gain so much popularity and attention which brings them money so it’s no wonder they do..

to answer your question she didnt name anyone so it would have been the same as her talking about someone who doesnt have an online presence, and she said "it could help someone see the signs sooner than she did". If something like that happened to me for example i personally would want to eventually talk about my experience to try and help others who were where i am so they dont have to suffer the same way i did. Additionally she likely doesnt have much proof at this point in time as she didnt realise it was abuse in the moment (something that often happens in cases like this) and she only shared it to help others in similar situations realise that their situation is bad so they dont have to continue to suffer thinking things like "they might not mean it" or "its not that bad" when their partner causes them harm.

I am not invested at all in the drama and know very little about shubble and Wilbur but I’m sure that she was aware that people could put 2 and 2 together and figure out it was Wilbur. But i do agree, awareness for sa is definitely needed to make people suffering through these things feel validated.
I’d also like to point out that shubble most likely does not have enough evidence to prove it was abuse in a court. The only thing shubble has is “I said the safeword yet he kept biting and hurting me” and I don’t know about you but there is no way to prove that unless you have an audio recording bite marks aren’t enough because again it was at first consentual
I think they should have talked about this in private, only between them. and IF Wilbur didn't apologize to her or did anything to be forgiven then she could have called him out or whatever. This is getting way blown out of proportion because people online are absolutely cruel (doxxing, death threats...), they didn't communicate (after the relationship, specifically about this problem) and it simply shows how it was just about ruining each other's career. People on the internet should NOT be involved in this kind of thing, only those who are competent should have known about this, relatives and close friends or anyone who could have been involved.

in her og statement she never said his name. he was the one that made the statement PROVING it was about him. she didn't want it to turn into anything more she just wanted to tell her young viewers about how abuse can come in different way. and why tf would she wanna consult her abuser about whether or not he abused her?!? that's not how it works. he's had all this 4-5 months to publicly and privetly apologize but he's chosen to just come back and announce a tour. he's not innocent

Because if you saw, Wilbur's was more of a statement, he confirmed part of what happened but not the other. This is something that should be solved in legal context, idk how it works where they live, but if she was abused she should gather proof and not just sit there and speak about it on the internet. I'm pretty sure she already made the video to spread awareness, why not focus on herself and her personal experience now?

He’s trying to separate twitter drama from his actual life, there’s 0 evidence of abuse, shubble has refused to provide any evidence, banning people who ask, while Wilbur has said he has evidence but is withholding it for now for reasons we do not know, which will likely be shown in his next response. By the looks of things, this evidence was enough to convince his friends he isn’t an abuser, otherwise they wouldn’t be touring with him. He’s not going to let baseless allegations ruin his life.

I'm in australia and I'm considering going, because Wilbur never really had any controversies before, the largest one being 'are his glasses real?'. He used some offensive language in a song and changed it whenever he went on tour but left it and didn't change it until about 2 years later when someone pointed it out. Then, he calmly took the situation and changed the lyrics quietly, no hassle. We also have to mention that there is a lot of evidence against shubble, so I suggest we do more research before finding that out.

I actually agree with you. I have evidence that Wilbur is innocent. According to the evidence, Shelby gave Wilbur consent to bite her, and that they were shopping at the store and Shelby told Wilbur that he’s not allowed to get anything. In her old photos, Wilbur was really pale and had a forced smile.
So, I think that Wilbur Soot is innocent. To all the people who were fans of Wilbur, you’re not a true fan. True fans never leave their artists quickly. So to the original fans of Wilbur, if you really were his fans, you’d never turned your back on him. I will always be Wilbur’s shield.

as to how "biting might not hurt": biting someone to leave a mark is very commonplace during intimacy. biting *to draw blood* is dangerous and much more painful than intimate biting. usually when people consent to "biting" they consent to the former, and the latter is what is usually perceived as dangerous and non consensual.

In general, when people consent to "biting to draw blood" is after extended discussions with safe words and thanks to extreme k!nks (since biting enough to draw blood can be potentially life threatening).
Guys. To put it simply this is not our business. If she wants him to pay for what he has done, she can go to the authorities. If other people want to complain against him she can fill a class action. Until then nobody can give an opinion, as there is no proof whatsoever. Only people claiming to be witnesses or knowing stuff. BUT IT'S NOT OUR BUSINESS. Whether it is right or false this shouldn't have been brought to the internet. This was a really bad move from her and letting people make death threats to others is not the good behavior to have in this type of situation. It just tells a lot about the people involved. Please don't give them more drama because that's what they want. Only have an opinion when there is something concrete, not just "he said" or "she said"

Shelby initially didn't even say it was Wilbur though, she was only sharing her experience and warning people about the dangers of abuse. It was Wilbur who said he was her ex.
Also the U.S. legal system is broken. Which is why most victims of abuse don't bother going to the police. Cops will just turn them away and not care to help them.

I would just like to say, since I don’t have more information and Wilbur hasn’t said what had been shown is true, I would just like to say that there’s proof of Wilbur having bruises and cuts on his body but Shelby’s is clean. when you deeply think about it shubble hasnt provided us with ANY proof that she was abused, and all of us are just BLINDLY believing her.
wilburs 'APOLOGY' was never really an apology more of a STATEMENT and he admitted to his slobbish behaviour but NEVER to nonconsensual biting etc.

I would rather not support someone who could be a terrible person. Unless I get proof of everything being false, I will not listen to Wilbur ot LoveJoy since he gains money from streams of his music. I do not want any more of my streams to go as money for him after knowing he could be awful.
Instead, I would rather tell people to just *_ignore_* his music until we know for sure the entire story. I'm more inclined to believe Shelby, but I am open to all new information from both sides. Wilbur has lost my trust for now, but I can change my mind on him if he ends up showing the proof he said he had instead of chickening out. If he had it, I'm sure he wouldn't mind showing it to save his career, especially now.
I agree it wasn't an apology, people are wrong calling it that, but it still comes off as manipulative with the way he worded things. No one has proof of anything, but Shelby has way more in this situation with her story.

Some survivors are unable to bring fourth court cases, others aren’t able to prove it beyond reasonable doubt, others drop out before the case reaches trial, and a further 3/4 are dismissed due to intimidation of the victims, a backlog in the courts system meaning causes take years and the false belief that abuse is a civil or family matter.

I have been a Wilbur fan for many years now and have only watched Shubble a few times so I'm inclined to favor him, but im trying my best to approach this with a clean slate and rational mindset.
Taken Shubble is telling the complete truth, Wilbur's actions are unacceptable. In fact, the part where I really draw the line is whenever he would bite down harder after she said the safeword and persist in manners that make her uncomfortable.
But then again, there is no evidence of this, or any of the matters she spoke of. Is it really right to turn your back completely on someone when theirs no solid reasoning to?
One thing that bothers me about this whole situation is how Shubble took it to the internet. You cant throw out such allegations against someone and silence people when they ask for evidence. Everyone knows that the internet is a hotspot for drama and throwing out abuse is something that sticks with a person for the rest of their life. I dont understand why she wouldn’t talk with him privately as this is a private matter. She was calling to the internet to offer her solace, because its so easy to get it when pleading the victim. As a streamer of all things she must have been aware of this. She knew she was talking about wilbur and everyone could guess she was talking about wilbur, and wilbur even confirmed it. She knew that all of the backlash would go to him, and whether he abused her or not, that is a very sloppy and irresponsible way to approach such a sensitive situation. I get it was to spread "awareness," but thats just such an easy and innocent way to put it.
Again, shubble could be telling the truth, and in this case im incredibly sorry for what she went through and I hope she can move forward more comfortable in relationships and life in general, but theres no proof. I will continue to support Wilbur Soot and Shubble equally until given a solid reason not to.
Even if… It’s still hard to understand the true intentions of the content creators. Wilbur might have been abusing her but he seemed like he was really caught off guard by this drama for whatever reason. It’s hard to determine why but they might have never actually talked about this as an “abusive act” with each other (Maybe they did with that whole “safe word” discussion but we don’t really know.).
Shubble’s initial bringing up the subject might very well be a vent for her pent up stress and potential trauma from the situation. But even if Wilbur was abusing and they never discussed the whole topic in depth, it would still be very irresponsible to openly spread this problem into the internet without bringing it up with your partner.
Maybe this was a well known phenomenon since many other content creators also called him out or maybe they dogpiled on him without much to hear since the allegations of abuse is very sensitive with their fanbases and they would want to protect their image. It feels sketchy to some extent for both sides and it is also a bit frustrating that Wilbur’s response didn’t really include a reply to the drama or hinting at a potential one on the way.

Shubble has been accused falsely for 2 previous partners and other creators with 0 evidence. Speady and Parker of doing the same thing. Not to mention but she also bans people who ask for evidence, which has not even claimed that evidence exists. Where Wilbur has explained he has evidence but is holding it for himself for a reason we don’t know. Him touring with his band makes me sure he has evidence, as they would not be touring with him if they thought he was an abuser. Im glad Wilbur’s being the bigger person from this and trying to move on with the life he’s wanted. As for Shubble as soon as Wilbur announced he’s coming back, not even 24hrs she goes on Twitter and repeats the same thing she literally said before. Take this all with a grain of salt, I beg. My personal guess, is that when he heard the safe word, he thought it would be cute or quirky to continue biting anyway. Hell, since we've had no evidence from either side, it very well may be that there was no safe word used at all. May be that the reason he's acting confused now is because, if she was negatively affected, she either didn't or hesitated to communicate it, and it's only now that she felt like voicing it out. And the real reason Wilbur's admittal and response looks so sketchy is because it was penned out of panic and genuine confusion. Of course, then there would be another issue that one person's "attempt to be quirky turned aggressive" does not instantly make it okay or "more okay-ish" that someone was hurt.
Anyway... It might be foolish, but I'm holding on to the paper-slim glimmer of hope that it's a misunderstanding/communication problem turned into one big mess, and both parties can still resolve this amicably. Massive copium may or may not be affecting my observation.

Well, if I am going to be honest I'm somewhere in between. Maybe a bit more on Shelby's side than Wil's.
In my opinion, there was some convincing evidence. Such as the background argument about (asumed) keys in Ash's vlog alongside the fact that Wilbur shared the same characteristics and negative behaviors such as biting in other victims' stories and encounters with Wilbur. Which leads to either a group of people trying to take him down or Wilbur treating them unkindly. Plus, that "apology" wasn't considered an apology.
However, Shelby did cause her fanbase to attack Will's. Unsure if it is true or not, apparently, a younger fan of Will's committed suicide because of death threats and hate they received. And there were doxing and sexual photos of Wilbur. And I felt like Shelby barely even acknowledged that. That just sickens me. You don't post a nude photo of a prisoner in jail on the internet, but for some reason, a potential abuser gets that treatment. And it's true Shelby only got verbal evidence as most others do, (well there were a few clips of Wilbur mistreating others). And some of the evidence provided by the internet doesn't make sense to me, like the lyrics in his songs.
After all, if you ask me, I'd rather support a liar than a potential abuser. Wilbur must have mistreated others to have a group that goes against him. I was a supporter of Shelby for a while before the suicide news. But later switched to natural after realizing Wilbur is just a human who did terrible things. He might change or maybe not. I still wished to support Shelby and some other victims motivated by her stories. The whole situation was meant to bring support rather than hate at the beginning.

However, neither side has proof, but Shelby's story doesn't seem to have any holes from the times she's mentioned it and it seems trustworthy for now. Many other people have stories about him, too, which, unless faked (which would be shocking and horrible to see), would be useful in an actual court. Proof is more than just picture evidence. Word of mouth, that doesn't change every time, is also pretty helpful. The word "testimony" is used for that exact thing. Other proof is afterward, but the story itself is probably the most important part of everything.

Hot take: a lot of people on twitter and the internet are so desensitized to creators apologizing for what they did. But the reality of the matter is is that Wilbur ( and other creators) don’t have to apologize to twitter or the community, they need to apologize to the individuals they hurt. When I first found out about this I stopped supporting Wilbur fully. When I found this video I realized that she might’ve said this that she either might be fully lying, about him or didn’t know what happened to him that might’ve caused this and, making it sound like it was him doing it on purpose, or telling the truth about him but doesn’t fully know why he does this. Yes, biting can be a type of abuse. I just think (for right now) that he was doing it for a reason to not abuse her.
Thinking about it now, the closest thing we have for ‘evidence’ is the text messages that Will had mentioned in his perspective. Yes, Will’s, not Shelby’s.
What annoys me about this situation the most is that Shubble didn't say any names. Fans just put the pieces together and their investigations led to Wilbur. It would have been so easy for him to say "it's not me" and leave it at that. Shelby didn't even intend for this situation to go as far as it did, she was just getting her story out there and the fans did all the revealing. Wilbur is shooting himself in the foot with him not giving the text messages he has (at this point, respecting Shelby's privacy is far out the question) and revealing the person was actually him.

I think her point about consent is complete rubbish, she consented so i dont see what the matter is. Obviously there are other points to the abuse in that relationship but i do not support either side. I used to watch wilbur until a few years ago and I cant believe hes been accused for this. Shubble has obviously just been playing the victim, Im not saying all of her accusations are false, but most of them are.
It's also complicated considering some stuff I found out about wilburs past, and stuff we probably will never know, since he has a history of depression and from what I've been finding out I think he has the same issue as me with loving himself, so he might genuinely be in denial or hate himself, if he's in shock it definitely doesn't help that people have probably been trying to stalk and dox.

I am disappointed on what he did but if he was biting her (no proof yet) then he shouldn't have done that. After watching these latest videos, I'm both nervous for Wilbur's health (he looks thinner and way less healthy) and am more neutral (shubble, though it was on an unrelated stream, deciding to go after him as soon as she did is a little vindictive at that point.) neither is in the right right now, but I'll be interested in seeing his response.
Apologies if others have informed you on this already but I wanted to just inform you how biting can be consentual but hurt and unwanted. I have experience with this since I also like to bite people but I only do it in private and where it can be concealed. Biting does hurt, yes but it depends on how hard you're biting as well as your partners pain tolerance. We obviously don't need to be asking Shelby these questions because they're not important.
there’s a difference between playful biting and hard biting, you can put your teeth on someone’s arm with out biting down meaning it wouldn’t hurt / as much.

I’m not saying Shelby’s wrong or that Wilbur isn’t guilty. Because, at the VERY least, he is to an extent. However, it’s (as many have said) a he said-she said. We can’t take either of their words to face value because of the severity of the situation. Do I think Wilbur’s response was dog shit? Yes. Do I think he’s guilty? Yes. But as for the specifics and small details, I’m staying neutral.
I don’t know the guy personally. Therefore, I’m not going to judge his character, but rather his actions.
What he did was a horrible thing. I had friends who bit me, but never hard or anything. It never bothered me because it didn’t hurt. However, I can see how it CAN hurt. With enough force and pressure, it’s very easy to break skin and genuinely injure someone through biting. I’ve had to resort to biting before in self defense. It can cause a lot of damage to a person.
On the mental health part: Mental health isn’t an excuse, a fact in which I 100% agree with, but it CAN be a factor. There’s, imo, definitely an underlying issue here. I can’t say for certain, but it didn’t appear to be manipulation from what I’ve heard. It sounds like arrogance or a state of apathy/mania. As a person with BPD, I can say that a manic episode can really change someone’s behavior. It’s a struggle, but I take medication and I go to therapy (both of which have helped). I don’t know if Wilbur has bpd or anything, but that’s just what the certain time span and actions within said time reminded me of (but I digress).
One thing I think is that Shelby should’ve first gone to Wilbur about it in private and try to see eye to eye first. Could it have been (on some far off chance) a misunderstanding? I personally think she shouldn’t have immediately gone to the internet without going to Wilbur first. I could be wrong, but it seemed like Wilbur didn’t know Shelby’s point of view upon her initial post/vod. Granted, is it important that the internet/people know who they’re supporting? Yes. However, there were a lot of ways that this could’ve been dealt with that would’ve been less messy.
There are a lot of allegations going around and a lot of people putting out opinions and ideas that aren’t needed or helpful. This is a situation that’s really complicated because of its nature. Again, though, I think an initial one on one conversation could’ve helped avoid the blow up.
I used to love Wilbur’s content and I used to love watching him and the others. However, as I’ve always made it a point to tell myself, all we see is what they WANT us to see. Another thing is that clearly the group wasn’t as close as any of us (or at least I) thought. (i.e. Tubbo having hardly ever spoken to the guy). It’s another unfortunate situation where someone isn’t all they’re cracked up to be.
Imo, I think there’s a source of arrogance in this. However, we also have to keep in mind that none of us know the intimate details of anything. Almost all the information we have is from Shelby. This is my personal moral code, but I don’t think it’s right to 100% take one side of the story without hearing the other side too.
I will reiterate. I 100% believe that Wilbur is guilty. I believe a lot of what Shelby is saying. However, I’m also fearful of the damage completely hating on someone without their side can do to a person. Granted, Wilbur’s the one choosing to not say more, but I digress.
What he did was awful and disgusting. But I just have a gut feeling that there’s more to the story.
(Also, something I read and wanted to touch on: I think it’s kind of weird that rather than taking a more legal approach or more official approach to the issue, Shelby went to the internet. Imo, that’s never a good idea and only causes a lot of drama. You’re literally bringing in millions of people’s opinions into a situation that’s, as of right now, still he said she said)

From what I see in this scenario, it honestly mostly seems like a big misunderstanding, however there are a couple loopholes in that
-both sides refuse to give evidence? Shubble blocks people who ask, and wilbur is withholding it
-there are more witnesses/people who have been in the same scenario she had on shelby’s side to support her claim
-Shelby has openly said ‘don’t think the people on the internet know better than close friends and stuff’ which does make sense considering this probably happened in private.
-Wilbur ignored her safeword, which is just a bigggg big no. Remember kids, Safewords are always a sign to stop, look up at the person you are doing the action to, and check in on them.
-Wilbur’s apology wasn’t really an apology? Some people say it was his perspective. This would also mean that wilbur hasn’t officially apologised
-About withholding evidence on both sides- I will say, I can understand slightly. It is extremely personal information, and there isn’t much you can do for evidence on either side without showing a video of wilbur biting her consensually, or shelby’s bite marks, and that would just be awkward for everyone
-Shelby has ignored her fanbase going to bully wilbur’s, and I will say, it’s not okay on that respect. I do believe there was a person who died via suicide due to the fanbase bullying them. Please do remember people, there are people who will find comfort streamers and take in their personality traits as means of coping. It is not a choice, do not bully them for it. They cannot help it.
Overall, I want to say, I love both creators as creators, but at the moment, I’m gonna stray away from this situation.
