А я то думал у тебя видео украли :)
does it need a translation?
amazing work!
мог бы не парится, и описание делать на двух языках, на основном канале, и субтитры писать где надо.

some people look at a painting and call it art, what this guy did is better than art, he gave the painting life
Whenever I want to see a piece of art being made I just come back to this, I wish I could have one myself, it's just so beautiful
I'm amazed to see how this project went way over so many heads. The wick hanging down is supposed to indicate that it runs on air, and is not soaking in fuel as one would expect. 1000 down votes because people can't seem to grasp the ingenious design and precision that went into making this lighter, incredible.
I knew when I saw it. I thought the round body was hollow and recall seeing other things done here knew he hollowed it out with his excellent lathe skills. 👍👍👍👍👍
Absolutely gorgeous! this is the most beautiful lighter i’ve ever seen
It's videos like this that make me proud to be a machinist, just the level of craftsmanship and skill that has went into this. Excellent job.
how could 1.6k people dislike this video ? I thought the lighter was as much a work of art as the creation of it
I thought there was a fly on my screen LOL nice profile picture!
There was a while before the person who made this specified that this was his second channel for english speakers and everyone freaked out because they thought he was stealing from another channel.
are you that daft @@aladdinmaarouf6752? It's meant to LOOK like the wick that is going down into the space in the middle is where the fuel is meant to be sucked up from. Not the body of the lighter. He's not saying it runs without fuel, he's saying it's made to LOOK like it is.
Really, it's not that complex a concept.
The thumbs down is basically “tap this if you don’t understand things”
(2,6)
Incredible attention to detail, beautiful piece that's a work art. On the technical, now this is a guy that keeps his tools sharp; the size of those chips and smoothness of the surface are inspiring.
Shout out if you don't have a lathe.
What havnt u got a lathe under your stairs, ffs well you got alot of filing ahead of you then pal.
I shout and cry...
I GOT ONE BUT ITS FROM 1895, NO JOKE!
OUT!
rgd963 prob worth good money
Need a fish swimming in the center to really confuse people.
I think there is a little problem with that
That thing is too small and you wouldn't be able to feed the fish.
Teonyi maybe a small plastic fish might do
Not with that attitude you wouldn't
T3chno Blaziken Maybe .3.
A tiny jelly fish would be cooler
My god... what is it about the manufacturing of precisely designed and assembled parts that is so satisfying to watch? It’s just beautiful to watch you work. Well done piece.
some of the finest craftsmanship i have ever seen great job well done
Amazing work, love the precision and detail put into the lighter
From the design of the lighter to the editing of the video, everything is so perfect here. God level. This channel is going to boom with subs very soon. Thanks for making such awesome videos. :)
very true!
Other than the fact he lied. Says it burns without fuel... Obviously adds a fuel into the lighter. Was definitely awesome though
+niko la It, "supposedly," burns without fuel. It's an illusion piece and a conversation starter, it's not meant to literally be a fuelless lighter.
he allready have 500k subs this is second channel
adam lindholm 15,000. The other channel doesn’t count.
I am in awe at the craftsmanship involved. Great work.
The lighter is interesting. I've stumbled on the video and his skills are amazing I hope to get to this point one day
wow. I'm speechless. This is so great! Keep up your work!
Very nice looking!
Hand Tool Rescue cool seeing you here!
coler154 I'm everywhere!
Hand Tool Rescue bro how am I seeing you everywhere XD
nice to see you here
Very nice
This is a gorgeously interesting lighter that any lover of lighters I'm sure would be honored to have in their collection. Excellent work sir
Great job! I enjoyed watching the build.
People, the title simply explains the illusion created by this design.
Watching machinists, fabricators, blacksmiths, woodworkers...etc work makes me wish I was one.
Just the amount ppl angry ing the comments that he used fuel they just dont get it do they
Its supposed to be a prank lighter to make it look like it doesnt use any fuel
Reonix I have looked through the comments and instead of all the so-posed complaints all I see is people telling others not to get angry over the fuel
max,
then it's obvious that you didn't actually read all of them
those are called people who have zero understanding of how chemistry works lol
Honestly, i don't consider myself very smart, but the very first thing i would question is the large suspiciously-hollow-feeling ring that could easily house fuel. And i say that it feels like it's hollow cause if it wasn't, the weight would be multiplied by like 4 at least.
MarkusPl4y dumb arse
Mesmerizing. You are an artistic craftsman of the highest order. It's so beautiful to watch you work. I used a diamond tip lathe when I made contact lenses many years ago, but I don't know how to do what you did. Just Amazing. I thoroughly enjoyed watching this video. Thank You.
I'm so glad I have found this channel. I can not stop binge watching the videos. They are soo good.
I really enjoyed watching you make this, thank you. :)
I love it all, god i can gladly spend my sundays whatching this kind of content, and would love to buy that lighter
Sabás Mendívil I
This is exactly the design i was thinking when i read the title but im still impressed by how cleverly designed this is
What craftsmanship. Very very impressed. Every single intricate part meticulously made. There's not many of you left my friend. 👍
Amazing work, total therapy to watch a master at his craft...music reminiscent of Floyd, very cool
Very cool. My only concern is the process to replace the flint. It seems a bit impractical but it’s still a wonderful looking lighter
I thought by showing the inside at the beginning of the video kind of ruined the surprise, but then I was hooked till the very end! Great video!
You can know start your brand of luxury and exclusive lighter!
Superb Craftsmanship ! Thank you for sharing your skills with us . The lighter you've created is a beautifull piece of functioning artwork . I only wish I was wealthy enough to be able to make you an offer for it that wouldn't be insultive . Thank you again & I look forward to seeing more videos from you,
A true master of the art for sure!
I'm a machinist myself and you do some beautiful work !
Well done again....it is a always a great pleasure to watch a proffessional at work....keep up the good work
The cost of this lighter is 100 usd. To order, send your request to levshadiy@gmail.com
W&M did u ship worldwide?
Only for email.? No Amazon link or a page? I'm from Argentina and I want one.
Did you order it? $ 120 is not a small price but is a realistic price for this great piece.
To be fair he does say 100 USD in the description..
How much this lighter from philippines??
Outstanding work!
This is like magic to watch. I love watching videos like these.
really incredible skill, this takes a lot of time, patience, and planning. this lighter is high quality and not some cheap mass produced item.
Absolutely beautiful, you got yourself a new subscriber.
Same here just a little late to the party 🎉
That is a beautiful lighter.
That is just totally AMAZING! Beautiful workmanship. Thanks for posting.👍
I have to say that I think this is awesome. Some people are just gullible and not even technically inclined enough to understand how a lighter works. Just like the people that tried to get me to find a brass magnet. Laughed in their faces and told them good luck finding it. Great job.
great lighter again!
Sweet, nice job, I love it.
So much work put in I was sweating in the cold weather really nice...
you are not only highly skilled but you know exactly what you are doing and what you want! lot many people here don't understand English, so forgive Them!!!
this is art
Beautiful!! I want it
WOW WOW WOW... What skill and imagination. BRAVO.... Am at a loss of words to describe the expertise !!!
Work of a craftsman. Thank you sir, for the video.
I wish I had patience, talent, and machines.
Shane Rivers lol brother, for real
Shane Rivers same here...
2 of those can be fixed with money. But patience not so much
Leroy_jenkenz
patience can be fixed to, hire a mentor to help you ^^
Just learn & practice. Only need 10000 hours to be master of anything you want to be
This channel is gonna blow up in popularity. Wish there was a way to invest in your channel lol
Great video, man. Glad to see someone using as much material as possible out of 1 piece of round stock.
Damn, that was incredible! Fantastic design and craftsmanship. And you made it in under 15 minutes!
This is amazing
For people saying that the guy lied in the title, obviously a lighter needs some kind of fuel, it’s supposed to look like it doesn’t which is why there’s a wick hanging in the middle. If you don’t know how fire works you should go back to high school because that is basic chemistry. Fire can’t happen without fuel. It’s not like it takes away from watching someone craft their own lighter out of nothing which is something most people can’t do. I think it’s a pretty good god damn video.
Awesome build. Thanks for sharing.
I have absolutely no idea how I just watched that entire video without skipping to the end.. Good job man
beautiful lighter keep on making great stuff you are an amazing "torneiro" that´s how you say machinist in Portuguese, thanks
Great workmanship. I think anyone who gives a thumbs down for this has never actually made anything in their life.
thetargetmaster no i thumbs down because he was useing his tools wrong. with a dye and tap it is fpr every half turn you do you turn back the way you came by a quarter to clear chips n debris. see all that smoke when he was machining thats because he was not useing cutting fluid and ruining his drillbits
I made mac n cheese once... does that count
gravity destructor Fuck yeah it does!!
You think wrong.
Also: there is usually more than one possible explanation for any given phenomenon. I can give you three off the top of my head which have absolutely nothing to do with whether we can appreciate the craftsmanship that went into making this object or not:
1) I sometimes dislike a video in order to train Google's "suggested videos" algorithm. Not sure if that works or not, but even if they don't currently take dislikes into account, maybe some day they will. So no harm in already setting up the necessary data.
2) However, in this case, my reason for disliking was because I don't like engineering videos that try to wow me rather than show me. The entire video I was like "ok, he's making this piece. He didn't introduce it, so I have no idea what purpose it will serve until he starts assembling. Oh, he's moved onto another piece now? Ok, so now we have 5 pieces and we still don't know what they're for. Oh, wait, is this a new piece, or is it the previous one clamped on the other end? And if so, why doesn't he show the piece being turned around so we understand that it's still the same piece from the previous step?" I spent over 15 minutes watching a confusingly edited video of someone going through all the steps with zero explanation, for an item whose mode of operation was bloody obvious from the damn thumbnail.
3) Waste of material on a useless object. That lighter is impractical and serves one purpose only: as a gimmick to impress the mentally retarded who've never heard of "screw caps". Doesn't bug me all that much, but I can imagine it bothers other folks when they see someone waste all that material, time and craftsmanship on an object that's less useful than the raw materials from which it is made..
Juan Rial its not true that it is a complete waste of resources. I personally dont know anything about this stuff, but its fun to watch... but if he made multiple of these and sold them and made profit, that wouldnt be a waste. But he didnt mention or show any hints as to them being for sale so idk
Wow a labor of love definitely. Tons of work went into that.
some fine craftsmanship right there, well done sir
you sir are the master of the trade, i really enjoy watching that level of craftsmanship (and i'm a bit jealous ;-) ), keep up the good work
you know. for less then 500 bucks you can have your own lathe and make stuff like this yourself.
heck for less then 800 bucks you can have a cnc mill and all you had to do was watch as it made it for you
Not really.. a master would have taught this guy proper ways of using his tools. Many of the things he does are pretty much cringe worthy.. a master would't polish the material to make it look pretty.. he would use the right, sharp tools and the right rpm on the machine to accomplish a good surface. Polishing like the guy in the video does is only done by people who never learned how to use their tools properly. I've been in this trade and studied under an actual master to know enough to say something like this. ;)
gay
At least I know what all those tools for my dremel do now....
Also good for grinding off the bit of nail poking through cause you used 2 big of a nail
Simply amazing craftsmanship. Very cool!
Come on guys don’t thumbs down, if you don’t like the end product just enjoy the skill of this guy.
Awsome man..
Holy crap, that was amazing! That is the most over done lighter I’ve ever seen in my life!
Anything worth doing... Is worth overdoing
Just one word: Awesome! 😁
Yes, what a gorgeous piece. I don't even smoke and I would love to have one of these lighters. An all brass version (as much as possible at least) would be cool.
Eragon Brom it's 4 words not 1
David I, it's just one ward after the ":" ;)
Garry Dufford same c:
Moon Seongmu, I don't think it is, I just love the piece he made
I'd buy one of these in a heartbeat its the perfect keychain lighter and its immaculate
I use this video when I can't get to sleep. Thank you so much for this.
I'm high af and I don't know why I'm watching this
af means as fuck
Only The Real I'm sorry you genius
same lmaoo
Only The Real well you're dumb af
Because it looks fancy?
Why did this turn into a oddly satisfying video???
a lot of skilled work put into making this. very cool.
The moment I saw him manually making threads that fit together with a lathe my mind was officially blown. So cool.
Everything looks immaculately made. Truly a master craftsman. Even the video is beautifully filmed and edited with a nice song to go over the video.
Warren Goddard exactly & all these complaints about the title bothers me.
I can't believe people clicked on this video thinking that there would actually be no fuel in the lighter. The word supposedly suggests that the statement is false. The lighter just looks as if it burns without fuel. People are stupid this is not click bait and is a great video.
Definition: Supposedly
according to what is generally assumed or believed (often used to indicate that the speaker doubts the truth of the statement).
Note the use of the word "often" as opposed to: "Used to indicate ..."
The correct word would be "appearently"
But yeah: Those who thought that there would be no fuel are ... retarded.
It's an old magicians trick. This man showed us how to make your own and stupid people don't understand any of it. They don't even understand him gluing a piece of wick under the real wick is supposed to make you think it has no fuel when you light it in front of other people. I honestly fear for the future of the human race. I knew right away from the title what was going on it doesn't take a rocket scientist.
Bass-D C not starting anything. You gave that awesome monologue about words and stuff and then used retarded to describe a situation that is... well... anyway. They're oblivious, ignorant and their intelligence may be obfuscated (vtm taught me that)semicolon but comma they're not retarded period.
I'm just so bored and necrofucked your reply. Sorry.
"I'm just so bored and necrofucked your reply. Sorry."
Danth's Law
"I'm thinking, a good rule of thumb might be that if someone goes and announces that they've won an internet forum discussion, they probably very much haven't."
Definition Retarded
less advanced in mental, physical, or social development than is usual for one's age.
Or how would you say it?
"They're oblivious, ignorant and their intelligence may be obfuscated"
Or: They are mentally illequiped/ Unintelligent.
Or: Their mental development is below the standart usual for their age, because that is what one is allways comparing someone to, as one describes their intelligence.
tyler saulez need to lie to get view what a chub
This has to be the most beautiful thing I have ever seen....
I don't know how this appeared in my recommended feed, but sure glad it did. This video was amazing.
What music did you use for this video?
just leaving a comment
its the gta 5 loading screen music
Hisoka sounds like it, but pretty sure is not
I wanna know too :(
Sounds like it might be from Boards of Canada
Really nice...prison ones didn’t use fuel...the mop wick would catch the sparks...there’d be no flames...but the wick would burn.
Just subscribed! You have a lot of good content. This one was one of my favorites
*so far.
More videos to watch now that I’ve subscribed!!!
Absolute machining master at work....beautiful
Should call it the LIEghter :>
OvAeons UGH
Lol
Put a pocketwatch in the middle
Покладіть у нього кишенькові годинники!
A god way of burning time.
Agree
@Dennis.R why so rude?
Dennis.R, Your comment doesn't at all indicate mental illness.
Man... a clock lighter. Brilliant.
Perfect job.
Absolutely great !
Another work of art, beautifuly done
Can you put the music name of your videos please??
The song i got to know
darude sandstorm
Hey great job. I loved this video. Would you willing to sell this or make another one just like it for sale?
I agree i would love to be able to buy one of these
Most people wouldn't want to buy it due to price. Handcrafted crafts take a LONG time to make and an apprentice machinist rate is around 20 USD/Hour. He probably took around 4 - 5 hours just to make it. Add in the cost of materials, tools and profit and suddenly you have a lighter that costs $200 or more.
Tasnik Khan. Yeah kinda expect that already. Still I want to buy it. Thanks for your input.
Man, you are good! Everything so perfectly cut and put together. :)
I read a few comments...all I have to say that it this is awesome. I love it and the music goes well with it....I would've watched you make this master piece even if it wasn't edited. TOP!
Whats the music? PLEAASE I NEED IT! It makes me happy
sii yo tambien quiero saber que tema es....
darude - sandstorm
What is the third pin for?
Benjamin New wondered that myself since the whole body can be opened. That third pin allows easier filling, and almost more importantly keeps it standing.
Looks amazing great job
Truly amazing. Thanks for sharing such an incredible build!
The holy 'air' lighter.
What is the Name from the music track
Darude:Sandstorm
Pretty sweet. The flint ring was a nice catch too 😊
outstanding craftmanship bravo
