I am retired military (army). and NO not this sniper. i retired in 2009. there was a time these guys did not TALK like this. no late-night TV style "talk a lot" shows or gossip, rumor and such. the code of the professional and respect for the calling and human life. yes, things are "done" (legitimately) in a war zone to defend our society and nation. that is not the issue or point. they do not have to be "suit and tie" and sell a book afterwards like if it was playing in the NFL playoffs for a few years. comment if you like: i know what i am talking about and saying.

Great interview. Nick has always seemed like a standup guy anytime he has been on any podcast or channel I've watched. He is honest and straight forward for the most part with his answers. I have been listening to Paramount Tactical break down the failures and conspiracies that people bring up and that channel does a great job showing a lot of insight into the failures and how some conspiracies just aren't likely true but doesn't ever say there is no chance of this or that. He has even gone further and gotten 3D terrain data and shown the heights of everything and shows angles of the CS teams angle compared to Crooks and shows how Crooks had just basic training at a range recreationally since he did nothing that was that impressive.
I think it more so comes down to why use humans when you can use drones? We see drones taking out tanks in Russia/Ukraine these days. Training a marine sniper costs hundreds of thousands of dollars after all.
I dont think Secret Service objectives were ever to be snipers. They intimidate by numbers, presence and tech. Going up against someone with a ghillie lying low in camouflage for hours? Days? With a spotter? No way.

Nick has FAR more kills than just 33. He killed many dozens as a gunner. And being a sniper in the 74th Rangers doesn't really allow much chance of "taking notes".
