I like how Toons were a dig at Magic the Gathering, they should do that more.
Making an archetype that is a reference to the Pokémon TCG, where the extra monster zone is the “active pokemon,” the main monster zone is the “bench” and the back row are “energy” cards.
Or they could do a digimon tcg parody where they…. have memory or something?
Idk, I did learn how to play digimon but then I overwrote those memories trying to learn every variant of Tearlaments in a week and failing.

Transformers would unironically slap as a crossover. I could see it working kind of similar to Dragonmaid where you have a “Robot Mode” and a “Vehicle Mode” card for each one that has the effect to swap between the two, Vehicles help swarm the board and Robots for Offense and Defense, however the difference between this and Dragonmaid would be you aren’t just limited to Battle Phase to trigger the change and in exchange you do need the specific correlating form. Lore wise, you can have them appear when the Qliphorts begin their mission to genocide all life, upon seeing the carnage caused by the Qliphorts, the Autobots take their stance against them and the Decepticons join the Qliphorts in an AU version of the World Legacy lore. This could also lead to some cool new ideas like a new Apoqliphort Towers that’s now been fused with Unicron that works both as a modern retrain for Towers and for the Transformers archetype.
Outside of that I’d like to see an expansion to Toons with a crossover with Looney Tunes and I demand they get a Counter Trap that’s just the Acme Anvil being dropped on someone.

All of the Main Deck Pendulums are too high level to summon and have bad scales, but they all have discard effects that plus you like the Labrynth furniture, except instead of going to your GY, they go to your Extra Deck. Finally, the archetype has a number of Fusion Pendulum Monsters that you summon by Contact Fusion, by sending the materials from the ED to the GY. The Fusions then equip themselves to your "Steve" giving the Normal Monster actual effects and good stats and stuff, in a kinda Marincess-esque way (and will even give the monster additional effects if they are equipped to it while in a Pendulum Zone)
    So, essentially...
You're Steve, you're harvesting and mining for materials and putting them in your inventory (Extra Deck) so you craft them (Contact Fusion) into powerful tools (the Fusion Monsters), and add them to your hotbar (Spell/Trap Zones), while equipping the best ones in your hands (the Pendulum Zones)

I'm surprised I didn't see Legend of Zelda up there, though it might have been cut for being not exciting. But I like the idea of a deck based around the Triforce and the 3 main wielders, Ganon could have a human form and a pig/demon form and be entirely based around the idea of power and attack points, Zelda could be a starter or a tutor and/or negate, and having Link out could enhance all of their support cards. Boomerang could be something like a Compulse, but it comes back to your hand after you use it if you have Link out or just resets it's self like Scrap Iron Scarecrow. A deck based on either all 3, or just on Link with everything else being support and having a battle control fused deck that uses a balance of spells traps and handtraps probably with a few strong equip cards (but not entirely build around equip spells because that could suck if done wrong, which is very very easy), with an alternative boss monster in Ganon that doesn't fit completely with the playstyle, but is so strong and has so many attack points that it could be built as an OTK subtheme vs a control midrange deck with Link.
(Imagine Navi as a starter or handtrap, would be annoying as fxxx to see her every game as the opponent. Or Tingle as a floodgate.)
Sorry my fellow YGO players who don't understand Magic lingo.
    Tutor = Searcher
Midrange = Literally just a balanced playstyle between Control and Aggro (but this deck leaning a bit more to the control side. I think like how you're supposed to play Link in SSBU if that gives you an idea of what I'm thinking, at least that's how I play Link.)
To the 2 Magic players who watched this YGO video and don't understand YGO.
Starter = Card that starts your combo. In order to be a good starter in the modern age, your entire deck needs to be able to full combo and set up several pieces of interaction with just 1 starter.
Compluse = Compulsory Evacuation Device is an old trap card that just bounces a monster on the field to the hand, it's still one of my favorite cards to this day from all the memories of using it both offensively and defensively.
Scrape Iron Scarecrow = Literally the name of a trap card that once a turn can negate an attack, but it sets it's self back to the field to be used next turn instead of going to the grave.
And to the 1 magic player that gets why I want Link's *boomerang* to be a bounce effect.
    Thank you.

I would kill someone for a Cardfight Vanguard crossover. Those two games are pretty similar mechanically, you could translate over a clan from the original game really easily.
It'd basically be a hybrid between Superheavy Samurai and Monarchs. The whole deck consists of XYZ monsters, effect monsters and low-level pendulum monsters used to boost the attack stats of the monsters on the field. Its gimmick is that it can discard monsters from the hand during damage calculation to subtract what damage you would've taken based on the combined defense stat of the discarded cards, and your vanguard would work like a Zoodiac monster and either ride on top of a lower level effect monster from your hand rather than tributing it, or it would go into a 1 card XYZ that goes to the graveyard at the end of the turn (in which your vanguard would return the field with all its materials still beneath it). Assuming the clan Konami would adapt is royal paladin, it'd just be a board popping control deck that spams guys from your deck to the field so you can attack for crazy amounts during the battle phase. Also, you would probably give the non-vanguard monsters on board an intercept mechanic and have them shift into defense position before changing your opponent's attack target like Hope Harbinger Dragon.
I would die a happy man if i could have Blaster Blade do battle with Buster Blader. That shit would be sick, but i doubt it'd ever happen since Vanguard and Yugioh are competing games in Japan.
