What really made him lethal was that he was a great passer! His mid range game was flawless. Yeah Joe Johnson was deadly. Wasn't athletic but was so strong he got to the rim whenever he wanted.

I don’t ever remember seeing JJ brick a shot. He missed shots, but it was like he was shooting lay-ups from 25 feet. His missed shots came off the rim so soft. Anyway, even in college - he was like water… just so smooth from right to left and then he’d TAKE YOU!
