      M K says who? If someone modeled their game after joe Johnson what stops them from taking those skills and going further?

    • @MK-ms4uz
      @MK-ms4uz 5 лет назад +6

      Markus Elliott
      Because in the modern era players who are midrange heavy aren’t seen as great or efficient. They’re also encouraged to take more three pointers or drive more. Two key examples I can think of are Rudy Gay and Demar. Yeah, they’re good players, but they’re no superstars and have been criticized for their inefficiency. To be a top 10 player today, you either have to have a dominant all around game (LeBron, Giannis, Embiid, Kawhi, Jokic) or be a three point sniper (Curry, KD, Dame, Harden).

    • @MrWeenuk21
      @MrWeenuk21 5 лет назад +2

      M K you realize those last players arent even mainly 3 people. except steph i guess (steph being one of the best finishing in the paint) kd shooting more shots in the mid than anywhere else. and the other guys having a 3 enable their other skills such as driving and kicking, driving and finishing. i get what you mean though mid range is a pretty dead offense without a 3 every now and then

    • @sonofwolfbait2512
      @sonofwolfbait2512 5 лет назад +1

      @@MK-ms4uz I guess what I meant is that despite not being the strongest, biggest, fastest, or best shooting player in the league, I respect his game.
