Does anyone else think the nurse story is awful? The nurse knew Tana was drunk, gave her medication you are not supposed to mix with alcohol and then drank wine and had sex with her? That is such an abuse of power and such a red flag. I am not seeing any comments about this and I am genuinely concerned about that.

I’m a nurse watching this at work on my break. At first I was like, what a lucky nurse! Then you told the story… and wow. Disgusting of that nurse if she knew you were drinking, still gave you the medications (as you guys mentioned, most drugs don’t mix well with alcohol), and then stayed for a drink and took advantage of you. She was sober, you weren’t. That’s awful!!! 😭 Bad nurse.
I was JUST saying this and was shocked that not many other viewers seemed to feel icky about the situation. Tana didn’t seem to be too affected by it but I don’t get how all of her friends were just nonchalant as if girly didn’t lowkey get violated

Yeah 1. Hooking up with a patient is bad in itself but 2, she gave her multiple meds via Iv when drunk.. They don't mix and you bleed easier when drunk.. And 3 on top of it all, tana was already blacked out and the nurse was sober. Tana didn't even remember sleeping with her nor does it seem like she wanted to sleep with her. Literally sexual assault.

The nurse story made me feel icky- especially with the fully sober nurse proceeding with sexual activity knowing how drunk Tana was, I feel like that really blurs the line of consent especially since Tana didn’t even know what fully happened the next day. Idk she doesn’t seem to feel that way but I would COMPLETELY understand if Tana ended up feeling taken advantage of in that situation. Just made me feel really icky, and I think that if the nurse was a man then friends and viewers may have had a different reaction and I just wish that women were held to the same standard. I’m glad that Tana doesn’t seem to be upset about it but I just hate that happened to her :(

Im in shock no one is talking about the nurse story, that is 100% SA and Tana clearly does not feel good about it. I now that Tana has gone though a lot but I feel sad that she minimizes peoples acts because she has a lot of pain tolerance.
Josh is sooo incredibly sweet for always making sure to speak to Brooke as well, and turning his whole body to her. Most guests dont give Brooke an equal amount of attention and i love that someone she loves was so sweet to her.

Brooke, we NEED an episode with your mom where she tells her story. Not only does it seem wild, but she could help so many people struggling with addiction. She’s an example that there’s hope and we do recover. ❤
I’ve been on the fence about kids for so long, but Josh seriously made me feel ok. I’ve never heard anyone explain that your life WILL return to normal, and to just cherish the young years.
Not necessarily. You could have a special needs child or in high need to medical attention and your life could never go back to normal. You could even have a teen pregnancy and have to deal with that. Don’t be a parent if you don’t want to change your lifestyle.
Also if you aren’t rich, they are extremely expensive in ways you can’t even tell in advance.

I love this couch and think it's literally the perfect couch for podcasting. the inward sloping back to keep guest visually framed together, the adjustable pieces for each and any format you take on. it's ability to compliment but not take away from the podcast and seems like you in a natural comfortable environment. this couch doesn't deserve disrespect.

Best episode in awhile! I love them all but this was so fun to listen to. I love Joshs energy and how he talks to both women. I also love that this was casual and unstructed. I feel like thats when the really random bits of info and fun stories can come out.

I’m only 20 minutes in and I identify with Brooke’s cop story. The first time I was ever pulled over (26) I saw the flashing lights and assumed it was for someone else (because I also drive like a grandma) so I kept trying to get out of the cop’s way until I heard him scream at me to pull over and realized I’d accidentally led him on a low speed chase 😂 My crime? I didn’t realize my headlights were off.
