I LOVE THE Cool Tool Review Zone!! I was shocked but very pleased to see the minibike! How great is that!! Thanks Clint for keeping me/us tool folk up-to-date!!!
I build/repair/customized ebikes and etrikes. I am currently using Ego 7.5ah batteries on my Lectric XP 2.0. Which is no big deal because the Lectric is only a 750w setup. However, I have use these Ego 7.5ah batteries on a 2900w electric recumbent tadpole trike and it worked flawlessly. I’ve seen teardown videos of these batteries and knew that these batteries can handle any 52w setup up to 50a.
Theres no pedals so the class rating does not apply. What would have been really innovative is to make it an actual e-bike with removable power tool batteries.
@@kikconzuelo I’m in the Ryobi 40v platform and I’ve always wanted to put together an e bike with the batteries. May I ask how you’re putting it together? I’m extremely curious.
I live in Wisconsin. People pride themselves in having perfect manicured lawns. I see people riding lawn tractors and zero-turns everyday. I have not seen a single battery powered tractor or zero turn in use. I see them at Lowe’s and Home Depot for sale, but the prices are outrageous.
I bought one (Ryobe) three years ago, the dude that delivered it said delivery of these were keeping him incredibly busy here in MN. Not sure what to say other than it’s going to take a while to “see them” considering how many decades the gas ones have been around.
BTW. Greenworks is getting into the ebike and escooter ring as well. Which makes sense. Their 80v battery would be consider 72v battery in the ebike world, just like the 56v of the Ego would be consider a 52v ebike battery.
We're going to need a bigger garage. I love the EGO chainsaw because it has the built-in light - only one model so purchase careful if you want the light. This is really useful on the 2 am down tree calls for our fire department.
This makes me so happy, I’ve been waiting for a smaller riding mower that might actually cost less compared to the zero turn. 3000$ I’ll spend but 6-7 grand is to much. Wal-mart has a riding mower at 2500$

After contacting Lowe's because I have extended warranty, they informed me I have to contact EGO. Customer service is was not the best experience. I still like Greenworks, but this video reminded me of CES 2023. Greenworks announced a bunch of new… _tools?_ …but then they removed the listings from their site. I was looking forward to the new e-bikes, power thingies, and a better lawn robot. I don't know why that happened. But with so many green things, it's unlikely that I'll switch my tools to EGO. It's nice that their power inverter is pure sine wave. Greenworks needs a better 80V power inverter.
FYI, I have the nexus power station and it has been great for camping trips as well as power outages, I have other ego equipment so if a battery starts to get low I can just swap a new one in and it never loses power.

I like mine because got it cheap with 4x 7.5ah batteries. I also bought the power station with the intent to use the batteries on my other power tools and my ebike projects. So it makes sense for me.
Damn, the mini bike is cool as hell! I switched to battery power this year, EGO. Got the mower, leaf blower, 18" chainsaw and the power head with hedge trimmer. They all work great, I love switching the battery from tool to tool as needed. So far, the batteries always outlast me. The blower has turbo, which is handy for getting the kids off my lawn! I may get the snowblower attachment for the power head, definitely getting the weed whacker next season.
I have the makita wheelbarrow. It’s neat - not fast, but a little unstable on I level ground. Can take like 200-250lb no problem. I welded up my own base pipe frame/tray for it - so can adapt to carry anything I want.
2 items I am waiting for is an E-bike (pedal bike) and an ATV. I have an ancient Suzuki King Quad I am itching to replace and all my pedal bike friends have gone to E-bikes, but I refuse to buy the ones out there. Also thinking about replacing my John Deere ZTR with the Ego ZTR. I'm all in.
They are in the Battery selling business. I have 6 pieces of equipment and one battery. I had to go to the mat to get them to send me a battery for warranty. I like the equipment. But the batteries fail after a few months. $250 per battery. Really? $250. And they piss out after a few months. And they fight you over replacing it. Even after registering it they want the original receipt. DO NOT LOSE THE ORIGINAL RECEIPT. Thats where they get you. Even after registering the tool and battery.
What they really need to bring out is a 32”-36” multi-blade walk behind mower for those who have too much yard for a 21” mower, but don’t need a 42” riding mower.
Disappointed that the pressure washer doesn't have a higher GPM. I know 8-gpm would be the gold standard 🤩. But my expectations were somewhere around 2.5, instead it comes in at half of that. 😢
yeah that's my biggest grip and the reason why I won't buy it this year. will wait for the 2025 model and see if they improved it. I don't know if they did it on purpose to use lesser capacity batteries so cost is down, but I want to use my 10ah batteries to it's limit by having multiple seasonal tool as much as possible. only have a snow blower for now, but I plan on getting the weed eater & mower one day, anything else is a bonus.
@@CabanonGuitarHero Don't make a habit of running your battery is all the way down. You'll get a lot more cycles out of them if you stay out of that bottom 20% of capacity. Im not a pressure washer expert but from wat ive heard GPMS are considered to be more important then psi. Idk why but thats wat ive heard. A faster flow lets you cover area faster, a higher pressure gets it cleaner. There comes a point where Deeper Clean is superfluous because That spot never needed that pressure, and This spot that does is small enough to go fast..
Power = Pressure x Volume. Regardless, pumping water eats Watts or gasoline. I ain't never used one of them 3200psi P-Ws. I bet they can peel the undercoating off yir truck. My friend has five 5 dump trucks and a tractor with a long dump trailer. They are all used to haul rock, gravel, asphalt...on unpaved roads... They get the snot kicked out of them, but he keeps them clean and maintained. He doesn't have a pressure washer to clean them; just elbow grease and a bucket. I gotta get him a gas powered pressure washer. And maybe a propane water heater...even a 40 gallon propane home water heater (or three) would work. Jenk-a-zilla ! Hey, a old crusty, slime filled water heater would work fine(just for washing trucks) and only cost a few bucks. He would be in heaven!
All these batteries cost a LOT more than operating a gas engine. Batteries bigger than 20 volt are having a lot of problems. I get a lot of them to repair and the the BMS is destroying the batteries. They all need to improve on this. However this is GREAT information for all. I think these bigger power tools would be better off using a battery similar to the batteries that hybrid cars use. I do like how you present all these items.
considering how much their other stuff cost i dont expect the minibike to be any cheaper than 3-4k and for that price ill just go buy an actual ebike that performs better in every metric.
I don't get that 100W solar panel. its going to take you over a day to charge just one of their 10Ah batteries. I don't see a use case scenario where this makes sense.
Ego is the only outdoor power equipment brand whose inverter is pure sine wave. That means you can safely use it to run your computers when you are offgrid or your home suffers a blackout.
So theoretically speaking, if the tractor can mow 1.5 acres on (6) 6.0 amp-hour batteries, then it should be able to mow 3 acres on (6) 12 amp-hour batteries, yes?
" Curse U Red Baron", I mean "Clint". Where were u n EGO 18 months ago ? Now I am, "In too Deep", with the "Green Wonks", Crime Syndicate. I can't, "Let go of My EGO", product envy ! …but which is more practical? I think on city / suburban streets, the Greenworks e-bikes are probably what I'd pick. I'm not sure what happened with Greenworks though. They showed off so many new products at CES 2023, but then nothing. The listings were removed from their website.
@@PhoticsTV yeah the only reminiscence I see of the go-kart and mini bike is a tree-like graphic showing off a few different tools, and this picture is attached to other 60v tools (ie: chainsaws) usually at the end of all the images posted for the tool. It also says "coming soon in 2023", but there isn't anything posted under the "lifestyle" tab. Weird enough is that the 80v line also shows this same picture. So were they planning on making it available in 60v and 80v platforms? Who knows.
18 miles of range on a mini bike at ~30 mph is a joke. My Honda Grom gets ~135mpg. You can go nearly 250 miles on a tank of fuel (1.8 gallons). Maybe my perception on what it is they are going to sell is wrong. Maybe it is meant to compete with a Coleman. Even then I highly doubt that it would be able to compete with the price of a Coleman.
@@ToolReviewZone Nice, I need to go get some new stuff. The 7.5 does my front and back yard no problem, and that's double cross cutting the front. I'm a long time gear head that works on classic cars for a living...but I do absolutely love my EGO stuff. Just not happy that lowes picked them up and home depot dropped them...I have a home depot card, not a lowes card. I recomend EGO to everyone I know, the push mower, weed eater and leaf blower are bad ass, and I bought them right when they came out years ago, still going strong.
Love your enthusiasm, but I don't get too exited over "COMING SOON", because I'm sure half of those products at least won't be available for at least 18 months. For all we know, half of them are just at the "lets see if anyone cares and if they do, we'll start actually designing them" stage. I hope I'm wrong. I'd be impressed. But that's too many products to realistically be "coming soon". I guess we'll see!
I'm not a fan of the EGO Brand only because they don't make any power tools. I used Milwaukee m18 OPE simply because I can switch batteries from my OPE to my power tools. I do like what EGO is doing. I'm just not going to invest my money into a Brand like EGO.
I use Ego tools, and the ONLY thing it destroys is your lawn. It's like they tried to reinvent the wheel and got it wrong. I hate the slasher, the blower and the mower. All garbage. The best tools are petrol. I've been maintaining lawns for 55 years. Best blower - echo Best mower - Masport Best slasher (whipper snipper) Stihl Don't buy Honda either.
Ego stuff is nice but I am replacing all my ego stuff with gas powered equipment. They batteries are a joke . I ran my ego leaf blower this fall it did 10 percent of my yard . That’s with 3 batteries would last maybe 1 hour all together. Gas powered leaf blower ran for 2 hours straight and did 90% of my yard . So I only recommend ego equipment only if you have a small yard . I have had the chainsaw , trimmer , leaf blower , push mower . All being replaced back too gas . Last longer , you never have too stop every 25 mins too switch batteries, since ego equipment mostly plastic if you break any of the working handles are triggers they become junk . Gas you can buy the parts and replace yourself.
I think the mini bike is cool, but would have liked a powered yard cart / power buggy.

So theoretically speaking, if the tractor can mow 1.5 acres on (6) 6.0 amp-hour batteries, then it should be able to mow 3 acres on (6) 12 amp-hour batteries, yes?
Yes 👊👊👊
Greenworks has a mini bike and go kart coming soon.
" Curse U Red Baron",
I mean "Clint".
Where were u n EGO 18 months ago ?
Now I am, "In too Deep", with the "Green Wonks", Crime Syndicate.
I can't, "Let go of My EGO", product envy !
Me n ET are, going to place an emergency ph call, ET style.
To your alien friends, in order to, open up, a new probe, into this.
I am now, "EGO Green", with envy !
Great Vid !
"Let go of My EGO!"
This is real nass like. However, I want an MX Fuel bike.
The mini bike is so cool. I'm waiting for Greenworks to release theirs. But it doesn't look as cool as EGO's.
Who knows.
Ego needs a battery powered fertilizer spreader
I'm waiting for the car jumper battery pack.
I like the mini bike BUT what’s the price tag. 1800.oo. You know it’s not going to be cheap
Nice video, but saying Bat-rays so many times was distracting.
It’s not gas, it run on the ego batteries, but Coleman prolly still cheaper option
There's no longer any reason not to have two wheel drive. Four for that matter.
I only have up to 7.5 AH batteries, did not know they make 10 amp hour batteries.
Yep, and .ake 12.0 too
@@ToolReviewZone Nice, I need to go get some new stuff.
@@ToolReviewZone I'm definitely getting that little bike. I have been eyeing a Sur-ron for a while. People love these electric bikes.
they neeed a go gart
That mini bike would probably only go about 10 miles at top speed. Just like a skateboard
EGO ❤❤❤🤯🤯🤯👍👍👍
Ryobi better step up!!
I was sure ryobi was gonna do this first
Lol rite, turbo on this would launch you over the fence
Oh boy, this means ryobi will follow.
Why don’t they just use 2 , 12 v auto or 4 , 6v cart batteries
Cause they make these batteries
@@ToolReviewZone I can say my Ryobi batteries die in 2 years . But my Makita sane batteries 6 years . There is a difference
@@HailCaesar-lm4bq thisbis ego, not ryobi 🤣
@@ToolReviewZone made in China
Everything is made in China except for babies.....they are made in the va-China😂
The mini bike is a gimmick and it’s working. Even if it’s real, it’s a terrible option. Anyone who rides custom Razors or Mototecs understands.
Yes cool…. They need mountain bike and updated generator power bank
Green works already made a mini bike and has tons of videos of people driving them. Also a go cart. Ego is late to the party
Mini bike don’t care what ya weigh, get one. Everyone rides a mini bike or kids dirt bike around pit row
I'm not a fan of the EGO Brand only because they don't make any power tools. I used Milwaukee m18 OPE simply because I can switch batteries from my OPE to my power tools. I do like what EGO is doing. I'm just not going to invest my money into a Brand like EGO.
My bro in law has the two stage battery blower. It's cool but that thing gobbles batteries. Better buy six batteries or you will be fucked.
I use Ego tools, and the ONLY thing it destroys is your lawn.
It's like they tried to reinvent the wheel and got it wrong.
I hate the slasher, the blower and the mower.
All garbage. The best tools are petrol. I've been maintaining lawns for 55 years.
Best blower - echo
Best mower - Masport
Best slasher (whipper snipper) Stihl
Don't buy Honda either.
