- Lucille Ball, The Undisputed Queen of TV Comedy stars in her hilarious follow-up to I Love Lucy!
LUCY AND THE EFFICIENCY EXPERT: Efficiency expert Oliver Kasten takes over Mr. Mooney's office and commandeers his secretary, Lucy, turning her into his order-barking clone. When a major client wants a million dollar loan, Kasten and Lucy visit their assembly line and start making changes.
What a masterpiece this show was. Writing like this just does not exist anymore. Brilliant.
The timing is brilliant. They put more time into things then, and it shows🙂🌵
Amen

As a kid, I always sympathized with Lucy.
As an adult, I have much more compassion and understanding for Mr. Mooney!
Ha a bit of the same, but I'm still a lot like Lucy. Clumsy and emotional, but well- meaning. She was a very clever woman!
Having had bosses like Mr. Mooney, I still think he's a big jerk! And remember, it was Mr. Mooney to begin with that wanted Lucy to get a job to supplement her trust fund that her dead husband left.
Yes Mr. Mooney was mean many times with Lucy. There were moments when he did care moments
This show makes me forget the boredom this quarantine season..
-COVID19
And the yuckness!
I love the fashion of this era
Only the hippie stuff for me ☺️
The twelve children for twelve years part KILLED me🤣🤣🤣 THAT'S efficiency!
I used to watch this show as a kid, but it's nice when some of these jokes land on me as an adult... :-)
@@b.lonewolf417 Yes lol even though I'm not an adult (I FEEL like one lol) I still got a big laugh out of that line.... augh haha
I started seeing this show yesterday.. So long since I had a good laugh.
@Loraine Longworth We couldn't care less Loraine
“You see!, you can’t even be late on time!” Lol
Isn`t that a brilliant Line!! ROTF!
Love to see all the OG comics guest star on this show! 🤓😎✌🏼
Phil Silvers was a funny guy. Lucy was the Queen of comedy
Mr Mooney: You see! You can't even be late on time! 😂😂
Lucy in the toy shop was reminiscent of lucy in the chocolate factory on I love lucy . 😆
Lucy + Assembly lines=Comedy gold!
Love the Cheaper by the Dozen nod!
Loooooooooovvvvveeeee the efficiency expert!
I wonder if Phil Silvers dropping that first cigar was actually written into the script or if it was a blooper? Look at Lucy's face when he does it!
I think blooper, but his years of doing live television paid off! He just kept going, they liked what he did, and left it in.
@@thomasmagnum3588 I'm actually thinking the same thing. Lucy was trying not to laugh when he dropped it. I also think the line 'there's a cigar on the floor do you like sloppiness' was written in the script for Lucy to pick up the one he took out of the client's mouth but as it was smashed and there were now TWO cigars, she went for the one Silvers accidentally dropped.
I watched this full series in 1969 even today it is gripping and funny like those years
Wow - what was it like then? I remember watching reruns in the 70's and 80's when I was a small child. It would have been so fresh and sharp then 🌵❤️
LOVE THAT PHIL, ONE OF THE BEST ON TV!!!!
Mary Jane and her funny voice 😂
Lucy is the best comedian
Indeed I admire her too.
Thanks... I love Lucy!!!!! 💕😍
Lucy was the funniest lady on tv. She was the first woman on tv to be pregnant on tv except you couldn't say Pregnant on tv back then. I read back then you could not say Pregnant on tv till a. lady on a soap opera in the early 60s.
Pam Hi I think the word.. PREGNANT is too CHEAP to say and the word EXPECTING is ELEGANT.
So, is that how they said it? They said Lucy was expecting instead of pregnant?
@@minivegana1355 yes, it sounds much classier.
@@minivegana1355 Yup
What nonsense. Pregnant is pregnant. Call it what it is thereby avoiding misunderstanding!🌵💗
Much thanks to the uploader. I watched this show when new, as a child, and loved it. It is a classic, and hilarious. I also loved Here's Lucy, but The Lucy Show was alot more funny, plus many famous celebs guest starred on this. I loved the ep with John Wayne, and also the one with Tennessee Ernie Ford.
Lucy had the most gorgeous clothes, hair and makeup and wore it all so well.
An awesomely gorgeous actress indeed.
If you had HER money, YOU could too!
I've watched Lucy's different shows since I was little. I've always thought she was elegant and vivacious. Plus, she's hysterically funny.
This episode epitomises my impression of the USA from childhood: a mix of bullying and obsequiousness.
I feel like i was watching fran drescher in the nanny
A lot of the comedy at that time was done by Jewish comedians, probably still is. I think Lucy did her apprenticeship in comedy with the big names in comedy at the time which were 99% Jewish💗🌵
Simple : I love !!! very good!!!
Lucy had the best legs in TV. Mary Tyler Moore was 2nd.
Lol my fave episode
Yes, the clothes were lovely and smart - the way they thought was different too.
i love this show from brazil
This show make me laugh. Thanz the lucy show
Funny stuff.
Love 💘Lucy
How are ya? Glad ta see ya!
"They put four broads on here, and they only need one. "
I'd love to see them get THAT line on a politically correct sitcom today!!!
Top Cat cartoons was based on Phil Silvers character, Bilko.
Patty Glenn Yes, I Do Remember That Too. 💝
I liked his over aggreesive pushy attitude.
1:51 WHY ARE YOU LATE? 😂
why does this remind me of a Gilligan Island's episode
People sit when they talk. They dont stand.
Fred Silver is on the show ! Thanks
I just found out Phil Silver's daughter act on happy days. She played jonie's.
Tail... tail... tail.... tail..
😂👏👍♥️

Efficient actors can make shine even this wreck of a show.
Can I ask everybody a questions. Did anybody watch Lucy on her last tv show. Life with Lucy. It's was not very good. She look terrible up close.
I did watch life with Lucy. It was okay. I prefer her other shows, like this one. I didn't think she looked terrible she was just much older.
@@sarahcrews2544 I think if she led an ensemble cast like Bea Arthur in the Golden Girls. Say like her, Debbie Reynolds, and two or three others and with stronger writing, it would been a different story.
Marvin Parks yeah that's true it could have been a lot better then
No.... but she and Bea Arthur were awesome in Mame!
@@Heavenzvoice You missed what I actually said. I said if Lucy were in a show similar to The Golden Girls, where like Bea, she led an ensemble, that would have been interesting.
A beautiful example of United States capitalism where money rules supreme and the human being in worth nothing!
Quiet, commie
If I were President, I would pass a law forbidding communist sympathyzers from living. All who defend communism will be X terminated.
