- Lucille Ball, The Undisputed Queen of TV Comedy stars in her hilarious follow-up to I Love Lucy!
LUCY FLIES TO LONDON: Lucy writes a jingle for a dog food company and wins a trip to London, England ("in Europe"). But when she misses her flight, she's forced to take a commuting flight to New York -- in a seat next to Mr. Mooney, who's on his way to the Big Apple for a business meeting.
There is a Pandemic going on killing thousands of people, we have been in quarantine for weeks already, but today I have found this treasure and I am crying laughing. Lucy was/ is/ will be the best, and The Duke, a true hero. Thank you for posting this video.

Even after almost sixtie years this still is so funny. Remembering watching the Lucy Show as a kid, in B/W. Still miss this great comedian, felt really sad when she passed away. She'll always be on our mind, from time to time. Thx Lucille Ball for making so many people laugh.

No sexual innuendos, no political Correctness! Just clean comedy! Everything changed somewhere along the line (and not for the best). Too bad, but thank goodness for video.Gale Gordon and Lucy played off of each other as a great comedy duo!

I grew up watching this.Every Monday night it was on.It's weird how these old eps stay in one's mind.I remember this one, of the plane ride.This show had a lot of famous stars on it as guests.Lucy always had trouble with leaving for trips.Now days plane passengers wear jeans, shorts, and sneakers.This show was on for several years, but was hilarious.The good ole days of tv!

The scenes of LAX at 3.40 are great. It was magical then...open, clean, PALM TREES!....today its a cauldron of confusion, traffic, security concerns. LAX is hell and should be bulldozed from end to end. A national disgrace.
Lucille Ball is by far the funniest actress I have ever seen in this particular episode her red hair really stands out and that pink outfit is so vivid the colors in this episode are so clear every time I watch this show or the I love Lucy show I crack up and laugh so hard

This show was hilarious.I'm over 50, and saw that show when new, every year.It was on every Monday evening, as was the Doris Day show.This show had a lot of famous stars guest starring, including John wayne.It's weird how some of the episodes of those old shows can stay in one's mind for decades.I remember this particular episode when new.

Mr.Mooney played Mr. Wilson on Dennis the menace show years prior to this show. So many memories .. What a great time in Television. Those ear phones worked by air they were hollewed no wires only air sound but was quite clear to listen to.also ppl smoked cigs on flights as well..amazeing since they had recycled air inside those flights never fresh outside air even today.
I love it how Lucille Carmichael grab the wrong volume control making Theodore J Mooney go into PANIC MODE! XD

This episode is so hilarious! I watched this show from 1964 onward, and never missed an episode of Here's Lucy, either. The shows were on Monday evening, and are classics. I have been on planes several times and like flying, and I never understood people who get scared of turbulance. I have experienced it more than once, and didn't give it a thought. Gale Gordon & Lucy made a great comedy pair, and did shows on radio together during the 1940's.They were friends in real life. This episode is one of several that I recall from when new. During the 1960s, my grandma had a plant holder that looked just like Lucy in the cartoon image of her at the ending of each ep, although it wasn't meant to be her. I think Lucille Ball and Carol Burnett were pure genius, and no other comediennes can top them!!!

I start saying Hail Mary boarding the plane,as I walk down the aisle of the plane & all throughout a trip. I also tend to grab the first person in sight if there's a slight bump in the sky.
