    I think this was the best serve tutorial I've seen so far (and I've seen 'em a lot!). No acting, no silly effects, no speaking at all. Just how it's done.

    I have been playing table tennis for 45 years. I learnt more about serving from your video than all my 5 coaches (some played for their national teams including China)! I like the dual camera angles and the absence of words! Good job!

This is the most clever and clear way to explain and demonstrate how to make those serves. Very well done! Very useful. Please make more of these tutorial videos and thanks a lot.

    So brilliant of a way to teach the spins here. In tennis we expain with 100's of words. All we really want to teach is the contact points, angles axis of rotation. You show this brilliantly with your video and no words. I love this.

    Hi bud ! At the time I played TT these videos didn't really exist and I think it's a really good thing to learn and share some tips. Camera standpoints are good too. Maybe an advanced video that could be a sequel to this one could integrate 2 things : location of 1st and 2nd rebound + height of the point of contact of the ball on the racket ( think about differences between racker-broker serve Vs Bomb serve Vs retro one ). Another idea would be to chose another version of the hook serve with an elbow move that is similar to the other type of serves like side, bomb etc. Another interesting topic can introduce the concept of point of contact Vs spin amount like you showed for the retro serve, for example to produce a fake retro for example or fake sidespin, like it looks like highly spin but with a messy touch. Again, this is a really good job. Wish you all the best and a lot of fun 🤙🏾

    • @mithraneere7901
      @mithraneere7901 5 лет назад +1

      Yes. I just also put a comment on how a lot of his serves are illegal

    • @markurban9113
      @markurban9113 5 лет назад +8

      Ball must be thrown on nearly vertical line, so yes anything else (adding spin, tossing ball towards yourself or throwing it sideways) is forbidden by the rules.
      But in reality it depends on a referee to judge this since nearly all players do this to some degree. In a local league you have much better chance to get away with this since (at least in our country) referries are booked by the hosting team, so if you are the kind of referre who is punishing players way to much you simply wont get booked for the next match.
      National or international tournaments are of course different thing and I have seen players get punished for illegal serves many times.

    Table Tennis is a difficult arts. Due to so many different spinning, you may not win even if u're fast to react and hit balls properly... Special spinning from your opponent may simply ruin your efforts...
