Thank u so much for highlighting those weaknesses.
Sometimes when ugandans speak out on this issues, the government officials say that we are trailing them.
Now these issues are coming out from a tourist.
I hope the concerned people are hearinng you.
I hope so too. We hope for the best because Uganda has a lot to offer.
Ssese Islands used to look much more beautiful before natural forests and grassland areas were degazzeted for oil palm plantations. The main Island was a continuous stretch of natural rain forest with pockets of grassland teeming with wildlife. There was also a large population of African Grey parrots and green doves.
Woow! I can only imagine. Indeed the palm tree plantations are endless. I hope the locals benefit from them, because I am told they belong to a multinational company
I agree, although I didn’t see Kalangala before it was deforested. It will soon look like Koome. Are you from Uganda? I am also very familiar with African Grey parrots and the challenges they face.
Welcome ..Tanzania
Peace of Land 🇹🇿....
I have Gift for you Guys 😊
Thank you
I didn't know uganda is this beautiful
It is the Pearl of Africa
Hi Liv ,just wanted to mention that you have such a wonderful persona.full of energy, always positive, very knowledgeable and so full of fun.i laughed throughout the entire video until that last part. You're really so infectious.

Thank you Vick. Welcome to my virtual family
Thank you so much for sharing this video
You welcome.
Just finished watching Lake Victoria circuit episode 9 and what I can say is that I am enjoying every moment of the way.
That's great. Thank you Victor for watching. Episode 10 is also out
@@LIVKENYA straight away to it
I like everything, especially the narration. beautiful 😊
I am humbled 🙏🏾
I’m learning so much about my country watching your channel. First video of Ssese Island I’m seeing! The buildings along Bukakata road look like Tanzanian buildings with elevated roofing
i really enjoy your vlog liv.kudos
Thank you so much. I am glad you like them
Liv, you have amazing content!! May your channel keep growing 👌
Amen 🙏🏾 and thank you for being part of it
So amazing....Loved every bit of this video
Thank you
That sunset was just epic.
👌🏾👌🏾👌🏾👌🏾
I am really curious about Kagera (Bukoba etc.), unlike Mwanza it is a quiet little sleepy town. You might need a local to discover fun activities in the area. Unlike Mwanza, they won't be obvious. This will be very interesting.
In that's case the next episode will be so interesting because we explored Bukoba and found very interesting sites
Thanks Liv 🤎. Loved this.
Welcome Miriam
Always good content from Liv..keep up the good work...
Thank you
Hello i just bumped into your channel and i must say i love it, thanks for the free Geography lesson of the lake area, the best way to learn is by touring, thanks.
Awesome, thank you!
Next time go to the Pineple Bay, it's beautiful and green
Thanks for showing us Kalagala Island
Indeed it was a horrible experience being encountered by those traffic goons, apart from that, Uganda is such a wonderful country with kind people.
Amazing video. Keep up the good job.
Thank you
Liv. u are the THE KING HERSELF.... your videos are great....thank you
This is much appreciated. I am humbled🙏🏾🙏🏾
Hey liv.your no 1 fun here.thanks for those reviews.we appreciate both positive and negative as well .seriously people like you will help put us there.asante sana

Welcome. It really is a Gem
That was a great road trip! Envious...
Thank you. You should try it when you get a chance
Omuhana Wefwe your Vlogs are very helpful we really learn a lot
Thank you so much Ken
Thank you Liv for that vlog, it was wonderful and epic 💗💗. I used that route from Masaka to Mutukula border last year during the Easter period and it was horrible, to make matters worse it rained a lot that day. On the issue of being harassed by the police, it is very common here in Uganda. I am a Kenyan who has lived here for the last 15 years and I can tell you the security apparatus is always in panic mode. They use guns to intimidate people even for the slightest mistake. Wait until election time comes and you see how the military intimidates people during the voting day. Rarely do I post political sentiments in your vlogs but this is the brutal reality. Very unprofessional to say the least. Cant wait for your next upload!!!
That's so sad and unfortunate. I hope this changes in the near future. I can't even imagine how frustrated you were on that road. The worst part is that it is a main Highway to Tanzania. I really don't understand why it has been neglected. In the police matter, I think there are too many idle policemen there. That is why they harass citizens and non-citizens.
@@LIVKENYA Yeah..that road needs to be worked on for sure. It is very important but grossly neglected. FYI I stay near Portbell, next time please pass by 😃😃
Thank you so much for the invite. We will take you up on that
Ofcourse museveni and his men are bullies! I also stay near portbelle
The entire video was amazing, breathtaking views and happy people until the last bit. I'm so sorry for the horrible experience you had with the Ugandan cops. All in all, sending you lots of love.
Ugandan are very kind people. Its a shame that their cops are such a pain and unprofessional. Otherwise I am better now. Thanks for the love dear
I usually like your work, always you inspires me so much.
Thank you. I am happy to hear that.

Sesse Island was beautiful! I was Team Bad Idea🤣🤣But that highway to Mutukula -waah!
Hehehe, if they gave us a good deal, We would have stayed for a night.
The road to Mutukula is the worst, but I am told that they are planning to work on it
Mirembe beach resort is so beautiful ❤❤❤❤😅
Yes, it's beautiful thanks for watching.
Sorry for the worst experience u faced. I enjoy your videos.
Yes in ug we have those issues but all the same i hope we work on what you said.all the same we still have love for you liv.we sorry that happened but it doesnt paint ug as bad we have lots to offer than just afew pple that mess things around.wish our security work on that.

Sad to see you leave Uganda. Already missing your team. We are always praying for our country Uganda because everyone is sometimes harassed by those guys.
Otherwise am enjoying the series, Sesse seems to be a real Gem. 💎
Someone needs to tame those police officers.
Ssese Island was indeed a gem. I can't wait to be back
My dear sister we are sorry about police and the roads😡 but there is a Uganda you don't know that's my country i love it so much though there are some challenges and am glad about the love you have for East Africa
Please continue visiting our Uganda it is really a great job you are doing
Though we are over seas sometimes we feel like we a back to our roots thanks so much the entire team🎉👏👏
I hope this changes soon. Otherwise Uganda is indeed a gem. Pure beauty
Please Liv when u get time to visit ssese island again,, never Miss out visiting Brovad sands lodge , Victoria resort, pearl beach and panaroma cottages... Thos beach resorts some ave there own nice comfortable boats .. like Brovad, Victoria resort.. mirembe am not sure but it might be aving one too... apart from that, there's also MV. Kalangala which departs Entebbe Nakiwogo at 2pm and arrives ssese Lutoboka at around 5pm... Though the route from Entebbe to ssese will be 3 hours sailing on lake Victoria.
Thank you for the ideas
Welcome to TZ 🇹🇿 dada
Thank you
❤ nice 🙂
Other than the cops issue, things looked lovely. Cheers...
Yes, Uganda is a Gem. I will be back
@@LIVKENYA I hope to join you sometime...
Hey Liv good job on the content but as a frequent traveler through east Africa i would like to remind you to to reduce on the traveling at night especially since these are foreign places to avoid such mishaps like at the border
Thank you for your concern. I will bear this in mind next time
As a ugandan, I apologise for what you went through about the police and roads.
It's unfortunate that in East African we have a dictatorship military government, what you saw as police its not police, its military in police uniform, museveni since the last elections he stole is in fear ghat the is people trying to overthrow him, that's why guns are everywhere.
But generally the ugandan natives are welcoming, and we are looking forward to receiving u again in uganda.
God willing we will change govt and get a govt that loves the country and improve infrastructure.
Always u are welcome to visit the Pearl of Africa
That was very unfortunate but I am feeling better. I hope there will be some improvements soon. Otherwise I still love Uganda and I will be back soon
am so sorry about that encounter with the police. since I started viewing your vlogs I have not seen you this upset. pole sana. I hope museveni will fix the police brutality.
I hope it gets fixed too. I would like to have a better experience next time
THEY ARE GOING TO WORK ON THAT ROAD OF MUTUKULA BORDER FROM MASAKA IT WILL BE NICE IN FUTURE VERY SOON.
That will be nice. Being a main highway, any kind of repair will come in handy
That's very true. Ugali is also served in schools because the school cannot afford Matoke. But you guys are very blessed to travel to this island. You are very right someone needs to invest in this island. This is sleeping tourist destination. Someone needs to invent advertising in Uganda since its seems like a foreign concept. Thank you for telling the truth. The road is shameful. I bet some government official have embezzled the money for the roads. The police is obviously corrupt. I'm sure they were trying to harass you guys for money.
That means that if I went to Ugandan schools I would be home and dry. I just find matoke combasome to cook. The whole process of peeling individual bananas with the sticky sap is my biggest problem
the place looks so cool, I'm just surprised that it's always your way that carries the day. Any other's never sees light.
Thank you. I do not understand the second part of your statement. Kindly elaborate
Habibi Liv... tobong loree apese
😂😂😂
We're still waiting for the next Tanzania episode yallah Owefwe.
Coming soon . Stay tuned
Wauh Liv didn't know that ssee islands has beautiful scenery n good resort it is a ashame it underated coz of poor road infrastructure and poor market hope they Uganda government will be serious in marketing it. Sorry about the Uganda police harassment I hear they are recruited via the military so have military training and that is why the harass foreigners especially Kenyans hope they try to be professional like our military and police and be friendly and compassionate to tourist when visiting their country but otherwise am loving the content can't wait for Tanzania lake Victoria circuit
Thank you, Charles. Uganda is amazing and I hope they stop harassing foreigners. Ugandan citizens are welcoming and I hope one day everything changes and more people visit Uganda.
It is the shame east africa some of border roads are still in bad condition, my bad experience was Kenyan road from voi taveta crossing in Tanzania, But i know Kenyan government have built a new road now
The Taveta- Holili road is one of the best in Kenya. It's smooth like a carpet
Liv nxt time yo in ssese also check out brovad sands beach,,, Victoria resort, pearl beach, panaroma cottages etc
Thank you for the ideas. I will definitely consider them
@@LIVKENYA you'll fall in love with ssese live alone the road from bukakata.. but there's an alternative as well.. ferry from Entebbe Nakiwogo to ssese Lutoboka.. still u can go with yo vehicle at a fee .. though it's a three hour journey
@@sslastos Now this is exciting
@@sslastos What is the ferry schedule?
@@LIVKENYAeveryday... Departing time is always 2pm and arrival is like 5pm.. bt wen yo to go with yo vehicle,, u book for it a day before and the person responsible for the vehicle does not pay as a long as he or she has paid for the vehicle
Hi Liv. How far are you now? Looks like the company doing the palm tree project you is heading to the Kenyan side of lake Victoria to plant those trees there. You can always verify but it'll soon be there.
Hi, we are in Tanzania. Thanks for watching.
For a second, I was convinced you guys would stay overnight at the island, it's sooo beautiful but sticking to a budget is important so you don't get stranded somewhere or miss experiencing some things. Could you please briefly show what you use to hold your camera while driving? Your videos aren't shaky at all which is something I sometimes struggle with and would like to improve.
I really wish they would give us a. Better rate. But we will be back. I often use GoPro came. With it you don't need anything else to hold it. It has internal stabilizer
Ssese isn't a place, it's the people. You should visit when you have some time, the whole beach front is made up of hotels with lots of accomodation options and pocket friendly rates.
I will definitely be back. Its unfortunate that most of those hotels do not have online profiles.
You need to go back to sese Island
Yes I will
How do i join your entourage..looks like too much fun
Masaka - Mutukula road ni shamba.. Ohh Lord.. As i mentioned to you last nilitumia this route was in 2017 na ilikuwa nzuri kabisa.. then i did the Circuit kama hii.. But since at the moment makao ni Entebbe.. We started in Entebbe-mutukula-Kahama-Shinyanga-Arusha-Namanga-Nairobi-Nakuru-Kisumu-Busia-Jinja-Kampala-Entebbe in 3 weeks. I was looking forward to a bigger trip UG-Rwanda-Burundi-TZ-Kenya .. but the state of current roads sio tafadhali.. Enjoy the stay in TZ..
Woow! That's must have been so much fun. East Africa is just a gem. Most of the roads are good. I just hope Uganda will pull it's weight on the same.
@@LIVKENYA this is my 8th year in Uganda and your bad experience with karao sio Jambo geni Kwa maskio yangu .with time you get to understand why they do all that . Guns.. The big numbers n hashness.. but I can assure you this had made hii inchi more secure if u compare na mtaani interns of security. The mutukula border too is no new news. I recall tulifiks hapo at 5am in an effort to cross haraka ili tufike destination mapema.. lakini tulikaa Hadi 10am need had to just use TZ approval letter and we were not cleared in UG so Wen crossing back in Busia the boarder guys realized that as per the system we didn't exit UG.. And the guy wanted to ground me.. but dude hio sio my concern wao walikuwa wamelalia kazi yao Mutukula. But of course nilijua walitaka TKK but I stood firm wakawa hawana choice n I had to cross back. UG Is a good tourist destination for sure as I have seen.. but kama ulivyoona.. karao ni walafi Sana.. ila ukiwa firm on them especially ubonge Swahili they tremble. Tushajua tactics zao. Story ya bad roads ni corruption X10 ya kanairo.. illiteracy iko high class.. Incan relate Wen u went to kalangala.. Mimi imebidi nijifunze kiganda.. else.. next time u r here pls nitafute.. ama nitawatafuta coast I might visit over Xmas.. my wifes home is in Mariakani.
The biggest impact of unsustainable palm oil production is the large-scale devastation of tropical forests.
Large swathes of natural vegetation have to be cleared for farming.
That's true. I had not considered this... It makes alot of sense
Uganda has a lot of foods. Ugali is normally reserved for those who can't afford a proper meal. Good adventures. You're opening my eyes to my homeland. You have traveled far more than most East Africans would probably in their lifetime. Interesting editing, views and knowledge you share. There's nothing like a bad idea if you are on adventure, a bad idea is simply more time to explore and film more excellent footage and know the area better. Many Ugandan roads need work. They need to redesign and redo the road. Ugandan Govt is a failed project when it comes to execution. Thanks for highlighting these problems. Uganda is a dictatorship and it rears it's ugly head again.
Good adventures and good vibes in our motto. Other than the roads and the policemen, I am glad I visited Uganda. Its people are the best
Ugali is called African cake
I just can’t stop watching your videos, hope you’re also doing the same
Thank you so much
Don't make a general rule on Ugali. Just visit the east and the northern Uganda, ugali is our stuff for everyone

Thanks liv,,for showcasing our Uganda to the world,,kyakabi. Looking forward for TZ,,😊
That's so sad and wrong. What happened to statesmanship?
