3 nissan skylines crossed the mecum auction block down in kissimee that ended about a week ago. . 2 did not sell but 1 did. i wasn't signed in and didn't see the price tags yet and don't remember if they were gtr or not, i believe at least 1 was. be interesting the price difference from a collector auction site versus a site normally used for crashed cars.
The BT2 Championship Blue 1996 Nissan Skyline R33 GT-R LM Limited w/118,153 kilometers had a high bid of $80,000 did not sale. The Midnight Purple II 1995 Nissan Skyline GTS-T w/69,951 kilometers had a high bid of $27,000 did not sale. 1995 Spark Silver Metallic Nissan Skyline R33 GTR V-Spec w/29,861 kilometers sold for $57,000. All were manual cars.
@@npproneck34 thanks for the numbers. The purple one is Craig's from the Flying Wheels you tube channel. for the ones that don't know him he runs a used car lot.
It is legal in the US, the 25 year mark was last year for a 1998 so as long as it was brought in the correct way then it’s legal here. With it being Florida, almost wonder if it’s AdamLZ snagging another for an upcoming giveaway car
20k is too much. Granted this was 5 years ago now and mine is a GT-V (n/a rb25 with a turbo package including LSD, bigger brakes, et)not a GT-T, but I payed 11K CAD and got auction grade 4 with roughly 75K miles on it. Those stronger trip tronic autos are pretty fun, but I've seen so many slip gears with less than 100K Miles on em. 20K USD clean title, manual, with sub 100k Miles on it is probably the sweet spot for something like that. Also import law is 25 years for you fellas so 99s will be legal this year it just comes down to what month is on your VIN. Some buyers advice for anybody who wants a 34. If it says HR on the vin plate walk away, its just an r33 with a 34 frame. You want the ER s.
I mean, 20k for a GT ain't that bad, the car looks nice and after it gets a fix up it can go for 40 depending on where, and to who you sell it to, and what you do to it (don't @ me on that one it's just stipulation)
the way i understood the law any cars can come here from japan but they have to meet our emission and safety standards but cars over 25 years are exempt from this and are easier to import. .
It's not a GTR it's just GT variant. They are actual better from a practical stand point if you actually want to drive it and use it. But they are cheap and some one over paid for it thinking it was a GTR.
I am a huge fan of the late model GT-R’s, nickname is Godzilla! One of the best drift cars in the world! The manual trans hold huge values, especially any early 90’s with an R32 engine. Seeing this car as an automatic, not a GT-R $20k would be about right.
Jimmy Oakes is in the middle of building one!
Looks like another Adam LZ buy .
I wouldnt be surprised if he pops up with another coupe
1998 is legal now, 1999 starting now by the month. Price at 20k decent for the winner if the price is accepted.
Those things are funny, my brother has a R33 GTST he brought back from Japan and gets all kinds of crazy offers all the time when he is out in it.
Pretty car but crazy money for a gtt. Have a blessed Sunday Dalt

RE Performance in UK are manual swapping one on RUclips at the moment. Doesn't look too hard.
There over 25 yrs old now ...thats the "historical" mark for allowing importation

Lots of them running around in my neck of the woods in Canada seems the going rate is around 30K ... in Canadian pesos lol
THAT'S NOT A GTR BRO
I think the gtt is rwd and the gtr is awd and came with better engine cupe
Lets go Dalt
Like you said, it's automatic, & it's not a GTR. Manual GTRs bring the money. After repairing that car, it's probably not worth it.

GTT vs GT-R
It has to be 25 years old before it can leave Japan. The is worth more than 20,100. Someone got lucky.
20grand flat btw
Idk why I was thinking it was 30 year rule. This got relisted with a Buy it now of $23,xxx btw.

Curious if they could even register this one for a couple years.

Not worth, automatic and too many miles...
