In the 90s, Roger Corman was given over 1 million Punts (irish currency) to build a movie studio in the west of Ireland. The studio existed for over four years and produced like 20 movies. The majority of the crew were all Irish speaking people with little to no film making experience. They worked crazy hours and made very little money, but the movies are hilarious. I only just saw a documentary about about this this week. Produced by Irish television channel TG4. It's called "It came from Connemara" and there is even a short section where the actress talks about the getting raped by a caveman scene in Spacejacked.

@@jonsmith5058 I never knew Jack got 'hate' until I started reading some comments. I don't see why people would dislike him. Just because he's more cheerful seeming? He's fun and fits in with the tone of the show, which is most important. For example, I don't dislike Josh, but he doesn't fit well in BOTW at all, imo. at times, he seems to get genuinely offended by the others' rambling, joking around, or ribbing him (as they all rib each other). Other times, he tries too hard. It makes things awkward. He works much better when he can talk seriously about stuff.
The original ending to this episode, which was never shown to anybody, has Space Jacked getting into some toxic waste in the depths of cosmos, mutating, returning to the RLM studio, killing everybody and crawling inside Rich Evans.
Pointless story about Corbin Bensen - I was on a shoot once where he was the director, and at one point he threw a chair at the first AD screaming "Where's my FUCKING EGG SALAD SANDWICH???!!!" I should also mention it was the set of a Christian movie. Long story short, seeing the RLM boys make fun of him in this episode was quite enjoyable to me.
I feel like Christian movies are where every washed-up actor eventually ends up if Kevin Sorbo, Melissa Joan Hart, and Steven Baldwin are anything to go by.
The monster in The Suckling is clearly a Botchling, so they need to name it and bury it in front of the house to turn it into a Lubberkin. Some people just never read their Bestiary!
When they read the description for The Suckling I spontaneously broke out in a Rich Evans laugh. That has never happened to me before. I don't know what to think.
Yeah, I'm gonna unsub if Captain Alex doesn't get its own episode soon. Needs its own episode, AND the director needs to be invited on as a guest star.
A Cthulhu Evans rose from the dark waters, embraced its child and returned to the darkness. Some say that on clear still days the song of ocean is a laughter beautiful and true
I adore that they included an addendum to the video, post-credit, for the sole purpose of letting Mike talk about the only Star Trek connection he could find amongst the 3 videos. By himself in front of a greenscreen for like a minute. Perfection.
Hook up with Dimension 20 and make the tropiest schlock imaginable. It sounds like an incredible time, honestly. I wonder how many times Rich can get his face melted.
I'm a bit heartbroken. I was really excited that they're going to talk about Ice Cream Man. I've seen it. It sucked. Rich Evans will burn in hell for the swap.
Ice Cream Man's biggest issue is that it doesn't know if it wants to be a goofy splatter flick or a dumb kids films... ...and much like the first Leprechaun, it blows ass by being boring because of its confused identity.
One fun thing about RLM as an ongoing series is going back to an episode where a tape that is shown and beloved on a later episode is passed over with absolutely no commentary in the past. It's almost surreal to watch them go, "It's Stone Cold. That's it." armed with the knowledge of how much they loved it as probably accidental subversion of 80s action movie tropes.
"Over a year-long hiatus"? I didn't notice because I just watch random BOTW episodes every now and then and the last Plinketto feels like yesterday. Think I watched it today, though.

In Ice Cream Man it's Clint Howard into acting
Thats what best of the worst is about, isn't it?
Man this episode had a whole new energy around it, not sure why but everyone just seemed alot more chilled out
If The Suckling doesnt relax you, I dont know what would
For real though hahaha nothing settles me jimmies more than a coat hanger abortion and a shot of radioactive waste
The original ending to this episode, which was never shown to anybody, has Space Jacked getting into some toxic waste in the depths of cosmos, mutating, returning to the RLM studio, killing everybody and crawling inside Rich Evans.
Creating a petition to get a “Who Killed Captain Alex” spotlight episode
No we need a "Space Cop" spotlight episode hosted by the Wakaliwood guys.

I feel like this should have more likes. This is exactly the sort of comment I troll though the comment section for.
@@Byrvurra thank you, much appreciated hahaha
I know this is a year late, but was it the set of Christian Mingle: The Movie, by any chance?
I feel like Christian movies are where every washed-up actor eventually ends up if Kevin Sorbo, Melissa Joan Hart, and Steven Baldwin are anything to go by.

The monster in The Suckling is clearly a Botchling, so they need to name it and bury it in front of the house to turn it into a Lubberkin. Some people just never read their Bestiary!

When they read the description for The Suckling I spontaneously broke out in a Rich Evans laugh. That has never happened to me before. I don't know what to think.

FIELD SCIENCE REPORT DISPATCH:
Stage one of transformation complete .
Prepared to commence stage 2.
Asset retention critical. Crew expendable.
Rich Evans is Buddha in its new human form.
They knew we wouldn't believe that was what it said, so they showed the back. lmao

I really enjoyed hearing Mike say “The Legend of Zelda.”
Me too
It's oddly satisfying. We need Mike to play some video games.
Yup
i was just going to say that
Very cool! Looking forward to playing BOTW2
The puppet fetus going back to the vagina is gonna haunt me forever. Thank you RLM
I screamed, cried, and died of laughter at the same time. Jesus wept.
That was unironically one of the scariest movie moments I've seen in a few years.
Yeah I did NOT see that coming.
It's the bizzarro cartoon noises that accompany it that makes it truly weird 😹

That classic baby "ah ahhh" sound effect as the mutant babby is running towards mommy is incredible.
That marionette made me think I’d slipped into a fever dream
I love how Mike says so much crap about nerds, while being one of the biggest nerds on the show, but always passing it onto the others.
The Suckling really brought out the kid in me.

I love how Mike says "Hi! It's me, Red Letter Media" in the after credits scene. Indeed you are, Mike.
The energy in this one is great so far, seems like everyone is happy to be hanging out again!
Very Cool 😎
From that freeze I'm guessing SpaceJacked is going to be ultra-terrible.

I love that Space Cop is a known quantity in Uganda. I hope there can be a collaboration.
Clearly “Who Killed Captain Alex?” will be featured in a Best of the Worst Spotlight episode. Right?! RIGHT?!
They HAVE to watch it. It's such a good movie for them
I can't tell you how angry I was when they cheated. It was 100% gonna land on who killed captain alex and wakaliwood deserves better

I adore that they included an addendum to the video, post-credit, for the sole purpose of letting Mike talk about the only Star Trek connection he could find amongst the 3 videos. By himself in front of a greenscreen for like a minute. Perfection.
Jack plays DnD, Mike used to play it and Rich mentioned that he regrets never playing it. Do it.
And Jay can just hang out and not play and talk about Lifeforce.
Hook up with Dimension 20 and make the tropiest schlock imaginable. It sounds like an incredible time, honestly. I wonder how many times Rich can get his face melted.
You'll be happy to know that Rich and Jack have a campaign together.
Jack's silent mouthing of "No" as Mike reads the back of the Suckling was exactly on point
I'm a bit heartbroken. I was really excited that they're going to talk about Ice Cream Man. I've seen it. It sucked. Rich Evans will burn in hell for the swap.
That movie is trash.
You little turds can't run from the ice cream man
Ice Cream Man's biggest issue is that it doesn't know if it wants to be a goofy splatter flick or a dumb kids films...
...and much like the first Leprechaun, it blows ass by being boring because of its confused identity.
I never saw it but I did see another person review it and they got some good funny material from it.

I remember as a little kid thinking ice cream man was the scariest movie ever made, glad they finally landed on it :D
