Jack and Josh in the same episode? It's a Christmas miracle. Look, I think Tim is awesome, but we had the same lineup three years in a row, so it's nice to see them shake things up.
Also, congrats to Jack and the rest of the Second Wind crew on escaping the clutches of The Escapist.

Rich's rant at the end is Christmas gold.
Rich going off about Objectivism and then having a relatively eloquent rant about the greed of christmas, and he is the famous winner of the Star Trek quiz. Is he drinking some sort of big-brain potion?
I love the fact that every F-bomb Rich makes this episode is bleeped but no one else seems to have been bleeped.
"Christmas is about unmitigated greed." -Rich Evans
The last five minutes being a film review equivalent of WWE Wrestlemania: Rich breaking all the rules and monologuing by yelling straight into the camera, everyone stunned nearly speechless, and yet, there's nothing to be done about it. Mee Christmas takes the belt and thus and rightly is the winner of Best of the Worst.
In all seriousness I love when the core 5 are all there in an episode. I love that none of them have left after all these years.
Actually Mike fired most of them and killed Rich Evans. He just replaced them with robots that have Ken doll crotches like in Silent Night Deadly Night 5.
Same here, Jack and Josh together warms my dead heart but it's nice to see all 5 back on-screen.
I have never seen a Best of the Worst go off the rails so hard, so fast.
I love when everyone genuinely acknowledges what a skilled craftsman Rich Evans is
“Ayn Randian Santa Claus”: deepest cut of 2023, congrats Rich, Merry Objectivist Christmas! Now get in my sweat/workshop.
Santa was always objectivist that's why he employs elves
I love that at 52:15 they censor rich swearing but then josh proceed to drop f bombs anyway uncensored. This censorship of rich will not be tolerated.
'Mickey Rooney wrote a letter of protest against the first Silent Night, Deadly Night (1984) stating that the "scum" who made it should be "run out of town" for having sullied tTriviahe sacredness of Christmas , but he co-starred in this fifth installment in the gory horror series' Imdb trivia .

If that isn't on a fortune cookie in the near future, I don't want to live on this planet anymore.
at the same time it's kinda sad that their lover Rich Evans was so far away, maybe they take turns
33:47 so happy rlm gives us such wholesome Christmas cheer by laughing at a kid in a wheelchair who fell down
A CRIPPLE! We must use the correct terminology, of course (*Josh cringes while Rich laughs like a bastard*)
I just want to say that you guys truly bring so much happiness to so many people, including myself. You always bring a smile to my face, as well as so many others’. We all really appreciate you all!
We were robbed of a true classic. Santa's Summer House is the "A Talking Cat!?!" of Christmas movies!
Fun Fact: Judd Nelson also starred in a movie called "Save Christmas". It came out last year.
That’s not fun.
The more I hear about the satan Santa movie the more I’m so down with it and would pay money to see it
Theres a Cuphead episode about it
I like the idea of Santa remembering names from the naughty list. And he just goes “Oh ho ho. I knew you would end up in a place like this. Very well, I’ll grant you the pony you wanted.” And then a large Minotaur ends up on the persons back as they’re saddles like a horse.
And Satans part is a complete rom com where he falls in love with Mrs Clause while he was trying to return back to Satan. Or maybe Santa Clauses right hand man. Idk Satan doesn’t seem like they’re too hung up on genders.
You can. It's called Santa's Slay, with Bill Goldberg. :-D
I was a production assistant on the set of the recent dungeons and dragons movie. I can confirm that both directors on set, Jonathan Goldstein and John Francis Daley, each took turns saying "And... action! Dungeons and Dragons." Every take. They never explained why they kept repeating the property's name every time we did a take, but we weren't going to ask after they threw cold coffee on the assistant DP and ran her off the set in tears for 'questioning their vision'.
Good lord, makes the creation of the original Dungeons and Dragons a kinda sweet story.
@@bosmeriosmosis215how bad was the making of the original?
At least it was cold coffee.
@@liam2745 well i would reccomend typing in Rlm dungeoms and dragons commemtary, they explain it well. Basicallu the director SOMEHOW got the rights to DnD at thr age of like 16, and the movie was also made right behind the firsy Lotr making it look very bad.
I can understand "Dungeons & Dragons, and... action!" but the reverse is just confusing.
Good to see Jack back, I assume to comfort Mike in his time of need, after Rich very easily beat him at Star Trek TNG trivia.
Mickey Rooney was one of the most vocal of the people who spoke out against the original. Fact he appeared in a sequel is hysterical.
Kinda makes you wonder if the original script was just named "The Toy Maker" and they added "Silent Night Deadly Night 5" later...
I think they mention that in the BOTW where they watched Silent Night 2.
I feel like without Jay the median age-by-appearance jumps up a few decades
theyre all the same age he just aged better
@@bahshas Read it a little more carefully, my friend

More like Christmas coal.

Ohhhh myyyyyy god!!!!!
the sheer innocence of mike calling a normal corgi the "dogecoin dog"
Had a friend do this to me, sending me a video about cute corgis with the message of "Look, the Shiba Inu's you like so much"
I have a corgi. I was insulted.
If you look closely you can still see the pain on Mikes face after Rich embarrassed him on Star Trek Trivia Power Hour.
Seems Mike has channelled that pain into his hate for the Polish.
Rich Evans explaining the true meaning of Christmas was magical
I love how they completely ignored Josh repeatedly begging them not to say "crippled kid".
They cut his mic @24:00
@@beeilve nah looks more like he just trailed off
Rich went above and beyond to say it lol
Sometimes I wonder if Josh even likes them at all. He's always hedging and cringing the whole time.
I noticed they muted his mic multiple times in the edit. Must be because he kept trying to interject while other people were mid-sentence.
1:12:12 Rich's Christmas rant is yet another legendary Red Letter Media moment. God bless them.
Did anyone notice that Mike and Jack skipped over “Silent Night, Deadly Night 4” to talk about “Silent Night, Deadly Night 5” instead when going over the entries on the Plinketto board?
Yeah, what was that about? Was it a copyright thing, or something?
Jack's enthusiasm is very infectious. Merry Christmas to everyone! ☃️🎄🎅
Silent Night Deadly Night 4 deserved better than to be ignored on the Plinketto board by the likes of RLM!
No doesn’t it has Clint Howard in it
I know. Jay really likes Brian Yuzna too!

Rich telling all of us the true meaning of Christmas, was the best gift of all
I'm not seeing any comment about it, but what Jack is describing at the beginning is the ability Action Surge. Second wind is the ability for a fighter to use his bonus action to regain 1d10 + his fighter level HP.
Also, welcome back Jack! :D
It’s so surreal hearing Mike say “doge” it’s like a spirit possessed him and made him say it
I love how he said the dog from doge coin, like, you know, doge
Holy shit that final rant by Rich is already one of my favorite RLM moments
So brave of Rich Evans to compete with Santa for most awaited Christmas Cryptid.

That's crazy that they all collectively, harmoniously, and non-chaotically decided to go with Silent Night Deadly Night Part 5 as their best of the worst.
15:11 this is terrifying, jay has been fully infected by mike’s cruel spirit
It's a beautiful Christmas miracle. Jay's heart has been filled with Mike's cruel spirit.
NGL I am happy to see the main five on the panel. It is not like I hate the guests or smaller panels but it is like rolling up in a warm blanket with these 5.
The most heartwarming part was when Jack was gifted four votes and decided the winner by himself.
They subverted my expectations! Picked all the movies I was LEAST interested in them watching!
I was hoping for Mee Christmas just a little bit out of sadistic glee
I wanted them to land on Jack Frost. 😢

Often the end of the holiday episodes is something fun or thematic or seasonal or even like a separate tape-destruction sequence, but for this one Mike and Rich just lost their fucking minds and, hey, that's the reason for the season, baby
