This might actually just be my favorite episode of the show ever, it's that good. Still not sure if I'd place it over Saitama vs Popeye or just under, but either way, it's earned its spot in Death Battle History, that's for sure.
This was such a good episode, I'm so impressed they made something this fantastic in such a short amount of time. Not my personal favorite of the season, I will be shocked if Guts vs Dimitri gets dethroned, but it's one of the objectively best episodes of the show. Also Cole vs Alex hype!

Honestly, I love whenever Death Battle does two cartoon characters from the 2010s-now and I get to hear them talk about more recent animated shows and movies, as my late teen years started in the early 2010s, and it's nice to see what are, to me, modern day classics be included. Just hearing Boomstick and Wizard talk about the lore of Gravity Falls, MLP, Steven Universe, Star vs the Forces of Evil, and many others reminds me why, in spite of everything, I still love animation of today. And I'm looking forward to Luz vs Anne and Rick vs The Doctor. 2. I wouldn't feel too bad for the Bronies, as Bill may have won the battle, but Discord might as well have won the war, as he still saved Equestria and sent Dorito Demon back to the Nightmare Realm. Sure, much like Grunkle Stan, he sacrificed himself in the process, but much like Grunkle Stan, it's said to be temporary anyway.
I think the matchups referenced in the animation are actually ones that will appear in this year’s champions ballot bracket because Anne vs Luz (amphibia vs owl house) was one of the week 1 choices. Which means Sans vs the judge (my second most wanted episode), bendy vs cuphead, and Rick Sanchez vs the doctor might also be in the bracket for future weeks

Ok since I didn’t talk about Bill Cipher VS Discord in Capsirus video, so I go over everything I want to talk about. Analysis was GODLIKE. Not only they were able to keep the theme of weirdness and chaos, but they also even further with both Bill Cipher and Discord being in the Cut-a-way gags, and even banter in the speculation. The fight is a lot to talk about. The setup is perfect. Starting with Weirdmageddon and Bill Cipher taking over Questria, along side with Glue Horse joke was fitting for Bill’s character. And once Discord starts acting, it’s great. With idea and letter to Princess Celestia having an actual importance in the fight. I do like how Bill himself vomits about “Friendship” which does show he doesn’t even know or care about friendship. Which does lead to him getting PIED IN THE EYE. Following him crushing Discord *which leaves a Discord make on his hand.* And once they are out of Fearamid, Discord summoning Sweets to attack Bill. Which I heard is a reference to My Little Pony. Which does lead to Weird Day drums and Reality warping that puts Thanos VS Darkseid into even MORE shame. With setting and background characters spinning and going all over the place, it does give off the chaotic nature of the fight. *Also Discord turning Bill into a Dorito and eating him is top tier writing.* Following up with them going to the Bubbles of Pure Madness which changes the artstyle! Claymation, 80’s cartoon, and my personal favorite the Sock puppet fight. Once Discord snaps his fingers *(Which is actually another important detail.)* Bill makes a Star track reference, which leads to them squeezing each other like chew toys and an action figure battle. Man these writers are geniuses XD *Once Bill decides to play Tennis with a Basketball* and crushing Discord’s body, translates nicely to the Mind scene. Discord knowing how to kill Bill by erasing his memories with the same blue arson flame from the Gravity Falls Finale. Bill even repeats his dying animation! But due to Bill being super stubborn, he turns himself into the Fearamid, reaching out Discord through his eye, and locking him so he won’t escape from his Grasp. But then we get the Best part of the Fight Discord chuckles, seemingly defeated, but revealed that he sealed Bill back to the Nightmare realm. Restoring Questria. Bill in act of desperation tries to reach to the portal, but was too late. Even tho Discord lost the battle, he still won the war. Laughing as Bill crushes his soul. HOLY LORD WHAT ABSOLUTE MAD HOUSE OF AN EPISODE!! Everything about the Analysis to the Fight. And there were SO many small details in the fight. Not just the Easter Eggs and cameos, but also Discord, if you looked back at the setup where he writes the note, it was actually place at the end in the Restored Questria! Alongside that, back to the Sock Puppet fight, Discord didn’t just snapped his fingers just to get him and Bill to Weirdmageddon, He actually sent both him and Bill to fake version of the Apocalyptic Questria. Which is actually noticeable with the lack of Henchmaniacs and the Portal having a Different color! *(Shoutout to Nemesis for pointing all of this out)* The only issue I have with the Episode is just the Post Analysis. Capsirus did explain about it, so I don’t think I should reiterate.
The characters were on point, but no the abilities. Bill didn't have that level of Soul manipulation or soul regeneration, all those feats were inside Stan mind, is more like a Dream manipulation, the real feats of Bill soul manipulation are more limited and needs a deal first. Discord could regenerate from his Ghost form with a snap, in the show he didn't because his body was exiled from the School, no because Starlight destroyed his body. And they dismiss the use of Grogar Bell comparing with Unicorn hair, which levels are completly different.
I see people in Videos commentsections crying and explaining that "Discord should have won and why death battle was baised" or "bill won the fight but discord won the War" or "discord is still alive". NOOOO he lost and he had no chance of winning to beggin with. He stands against a being who rivals the power of the Creator of Gravity Falls himself. He is not alive, he got erased.
This episode is just more proof to never think a character wins just cause seemingly more people believe they do. The next battle is in the same category. People will call it an objective stomp for Cole while I have more than enough evidence to say Alex wins. But it is all just what you interpret

sadly though i think it was a lesson that was wasted on a being like bill cypher. since its less that he "can't understand" and more that he "doesn't want to".
im telling you rn as someone who's played both games cole doesn't pack enough fire power to beat alex, if they use his full kit from prototype 1 and 2 he can summon allies from just himself. which isn't even his most busted power. but i like them both so i don't really care who wins, either way im eating good. i like both bill and discord. but with this fight discord was a personal favorite. i preferred him over bill as bill was only my 3rd favorite in gravity falls, behind stan and wendy. discord IS my favorite in mlp, hes my number one male character as he's the only nonbad guy who is actually important in anyway and is just a cool dude to be around.
Genuinely one of the best episodes of the whole series. Like, I seriously could not be happier with how this episode turned out. I am over the moon with it honestly. This has been my most wanted match up since 2016 or 17. And like, for the longest time I really thought that it wasn't going to happen because of how mistreated MLP was on Death Battle. They had said "no more ponies" after Raven VS Twilight even though every episode wasn't doing bad because of the presence of MLP, it was because of their treatment of it. Just, clearly biased and sometimes disrespectful to it, which is not something you want to do on your VERSUS show. Especially when MLP:FiM is a legitimately amazing show. I had lost hope for the longest time that Bill Cypher vs Discord just wasn't going to happen. It has been my favorite and most wanted match up for way more than 5 years. And then it was there. In last year's champion ballot. And it won. I was ecstatic. My favorite match up and most wanted episode was finally going ro happen. I was as excited as I was really really nervous. I love both characters, I love both shows. But with the track record DB has had with fourth wall breakers, I was really worried they wouldn't be able to pull it off well. Let alone pull of the episode well. But they did. They made actual legitimate peak crossover masterpiece fiction with this episode. Maybe its just the honeymoon phase but like, this is actually my #1 episode of all time now. It... it was perfect. I have literally only a single complaint and its that I don't agree with who won. And you know what? I can't even be mad at it because the argument they give was solid enough and I can absolutely understand why they came to the conclusion they did. I certainly think their reasoning has flaws when you get more into the specifics, but what they gave made clear and concise sense, especially when the match is as close as it is. And hell, I feel like in the fight they even portray how close the match is, both Discord and Bill won and lost and the exact same time in their own ways. I can't be mad at it despite Discord and MLP overall meaning more to me and with Discord being my more preferred winner. And like, what else can I really say? This episode is so flawlessly executed. The analysis, the Easter eggs, the flawless 4th wall breaks, the voice acting, the track, the love for the community, the editing, the respect for the characters, the fight... God the fight is beautiful. Especially the ending. To go into the specifics of why I love the fight and its writing and especially its ending would take up another additional few paragraphs. Just like... everything. It was perfect. Perfect. Everything, down to the last minute details. It's a 10/10. It's MORE than a 10/10. It's art, it's more than art. Words truly cannot describe how happy I am that my favorite and most wanted match up finally happened after so many years of waiting and that it was peak. I'm so friggin happy that MLP got its long, looong overdue redemption and truly W episode. I really hope the DB team is open for doing more MLP episodes agian after this because its got a lot of great match ups to be had. Hell, now that this episode has officially happened, Timmy Turner vs Twilight Sparkle might now just be my most wanted match up and episode now. That is a legit finale worthy episode. But anyway, I've rambled on enough. I just legitimately am so so happy this episode was as good as it was. This truly felt like the team gave all their effort, time and love into it and it shows. Actual masterpiece episode.
My second favorite episode, my preferred didn't even win. While the scales were tipped into Bill's favor at every turn and people say the verdict makes sense when it really doesn't, it still gives a perfect ending that isn't mean spirited. With all the love put into both characters I'm genuinely not salty they decided not to buy Discord being a conceptual being, and when I was genuinely confused on who won despite getting spoiled, it was clear they got the Chaos down perfectly. Overall, this is what death battle should be. love for both characters unlike Mario vs Sonic or Goku vs Superman and most importantly, Ben vs Hal.
Why is AI a bad thing? I mean I guess it depends on what the AI is doing but the only thing I want to use AI for is images I can't make myself because I have neither the talent nor patience.

Bill Cipher can't actually destroy Souls. He attacked Dipper and Mabel's mind and blew a whole through Dippers chest. If it was in fact their souls, wouldn't Dipper be dead and Stanley would be dead if it his soul. And Discord can straight-up hypnotized bill and make him forget sertin abilities such as to seeing the future and to see all possibilities. Discord the can even cover himself completely in unicorn hair. sure it won't get rid of Bill's powers, but it would make it impossible for Bill to attack Discord. And I do believe Discord in fact would take the fight seriously, considering the times he was defeated to weaker beings that he had no fear in losing to he was taken by surprise. But he would take Bill seriously knowing that he is an extremely powerful being with the possibility destroy the universe, so I do believe Discord would take him seriously. But that wouldn't even matter because Discord could beat a being that was just as powerful as himself and that being could destroy multiverses, while Bill on the other hand can only destroy one universe one at a time. And my final reasoning for why Discord wins this battle is because it is shown in the My Little Pony show that Discord can survive only off of Chaos. And him fighting an opponent like Bill who caused chaos 24/7 is just going to keep Discord alive. And that is my reasoning to why I believe this Death battle is rigged.
I would also like to add that Bill was struggling to catch 2 teens who were running away from him while Discord was able to reverse time by accident simply by running (this happened in the comics). Adding to Discord 's attitude in the fight, Whenever Chrysalis captured Fluttershy Discord was furious and directly went to the Changeling hive. Since in the fight Bill Cipher basically harmed Fluttershy, Discord would not be so laid back about the whole fight. Discord has also been shown to be able to break the fourth wall while Bill can only interact with it, this is important because Discord could literally change the way that the fight goes. The only way that Discord can be defeated has been by removing his magic and by him not being chaotic willingly, both of these things can't be done by Bill. I think that it's pretty safe to say that Death Battle was very biased about Bill, not to mention that they really had to downplay Discord trapping Bill in his old home. Bill would've been uncontrollably furious and it's out of character for him to say "No Big deal" when his entire progress has been erased, Bill is just not a good loser so he wouldn't be chill at all. Also why did Bill not get erased by Discord 's recreation of Bill's death? He literally just screamed and was completely unscratched afterwards. Adding to the Unicorn hair thing, since Discord watched Gravity Falls he must be aware of this due to it being a big thing when Bill was fighting the giant Mystery Shack, Discord is literally friends with unicorns. I also wanted to add that Bill can be physically hurt as seen as him getting his eye sprayed and ripped out during Weirdmaggeton, Discord has never been physically hurt and can't be as seen whenever King Zombra blasted him and Discord pretended to be hurt but was actually completely unharmed. And the last thing I'd like to point out is that Discord's physical body wasn't destroyed by Starlight, she simply put a spell that prevented his physical body from entering the school, so he decided to enter it as a ghost. Death Battle really didn't do their homework.

I had lost hope for the longest time that Bill Cypher vs Discord just wasn't going to happen. It has been my favorite and most wanted match up for way more than 5 years.
And then it was there. In last year's champion ballot. And it won. I was ecstatic. My favorite match up and most wanted episode was finally going ro happen. I was as excited as I was really really nervous. I love both characters, I love both shows. But with the track record DB has had with fourth wall breakers, I was really worried they wouldn't be able to pull it off well. Let alone pull of the episode well.
But they did. They made actual legitimate peak crossover masterpiece fiction with this episode. Maybe its just the honeymoon phase but like, this is actually my #1 episode of all time now. It... it was perfect. I have literally only a single complaint and its that I don't agree with who won. And you know what? I can't even be mad at it because the argument they give was solid enough and I can absolutely understand why they came to the conclusion they did. I certainly think their reasoning has flaws when you get more into the specifics, but what they gave made clear and concise sense, especially when the match is as close as it is. And hell, I feel like in the fight they even portray how close the match is, both Discord and Bill won and lost and the exact same time in their own ways. I can't be mad at it despite Discord and MLP overall meaning more to me and with Discord being my more preferred winner.
And like, what else can I really say? This episode is so flawlessly executed. The analysis, the Easter eggs, the flawless 4th wall breaks, the voice acting, the track, the love for the community, the editing, the respect for the characters, the fight... God the fight is beautiful. Especially the ending. To go into the specifics of why I love the fight and its writing and especially its ending would take up another additional few paragraphs. Just like... everything. It was perfect. Perfect. Everything, down to the last minute details.
It's a 10/10. It's MORE than a 10/10. It's art, it's more than art. Words truly cannot describe how happy I am that my favorite and most wanted match up finally happened after so many years of waiting and that it was peak. I'm so friggin happy that MLP got its long, looong overdue redemption and truly W episode. I really hope the DB team is open for doing more MLP episodes agian after this because its got a lot of great match ups to be had. Hell, now that this episode has officially happened, Timmy Turner vs Twilight Sparkle might now just be my most wanted match up and episode now. That is a legit finale worthy episode.
But anyway, I've rambled on enough. I just legitimately am so so happy this episode was as good as it was. This truly felt like the team gave all their effort, time and love into it and it shows. Actual masterpiece episode.
My second favorite episode, my preferred didn't even win. While the scales were tipped into Bill's favor at every turn and people say the verdict makes sense when it really doesn't, it still gives a perfect ending that isn't mean spirited. With all the love put into both characters I'm genuinely not salty they decided not to buy Discord being a conceptual being, and when I was genuinely confused on who won despite getting spoiled, it was clear they got the Chaos down perfectly.
Overall, this is what death battle should be. love for both characters unlike Mario vs Sonic or Goku vs Superman and most importantly, Ben vs Hal.

Why is AI a bad thing? I mean I guess it depends on what the AI is doing but the only thing I want to use AI for is images I can't make myself because I have neither the talent nor patience.
I am so happy this episode went as hard as it is as the only problem I have is that I disagree with the results but this is one of my new top 15 of all time and Btw Here is my ranking of season 10 so far

I loved the episode, but I still believe Discord should have won
Bill Cipher can't actually destroy Souls.
He attacked Dipper and Mabel's mind and blew a whole through Dippers chest.
If it was in fact their souls, wouldn't Dipper be dead and Stanley would be dead if it his soul.
And Discord can straight-up hypnotized bill and make him forget sertin abilities such as to seeing the future and to see all possibilities.
Discord the can even cover himself completely in unicorn hair. sure it won't get rid of Bill's powers, but it would make it impossible for Bill to attack Discord.
And I do believe Discord in fact would take the fight seriously, considering the times he was defeated to weaker beings that he had no fear in losing to he was taken by surprise.
But he would take Bill seriously knowing that he is an extremely powerful being with the possibility destroy the universe, so I do believe Discord would take him seriously.
But that wouldn't even matter because Discord could beat a being that was just as powerful as himself and that being could destroy multiverses, while Bill on the other hand can only destroy one universe one at a time.
And my final reasoning for why Discord wins this battle is because it is shown in the My Little Pony show that Discord can survive only off of Chaos.
And him fighting an opponent like Bill who caused chaos 24/7 is just going to keep Discord alive.
And that is my reasoning to why I believe this Death battle is rigged.
Legendary comment ngl, I also got annoyed at how much they underplayed Discord and Overpowered Bill.
I would also like to add that Bill was struggling to catch 2 teens who were running away from him while Discord was able to reverse time by accident simply by running (this happened in the comics). Adding to Discord 's attitude in the fight, Whenever Chrysalis captured Fluttershy Discord was furious and directly went to the Changeling hive. Since in the fight Bill Cipher basically harmed Fluttershy, Discord would not be so laid back about the whole fight. Discord has also been shown to be able to break the fourth wall while Bill can only interact with it, this is important because Discord could literally change the way that the fight goes. The only way that Discord can be defeated has been by removing his magic and by him not being chaotic willingly, both of these things can't be done by Bill. I think that it's pretty safe to say that Death Battle was very biased about Bill, not to mention that they really had to downplay Discord trapping Bill in his old home. Bill would've been uncontrollably furious and it's out of character for him to say "No Big deal" when his entire progress has been erased, Bill is just not a good loser so he wouldn't be chill at all. Also why did Bill not get erased by Discord 's recreation of Bill's death? He literally just screamed and was completely unscratched afterwards. Adding to the Unicorn hair thing, since Discord watched Gravity Falls he must be aware of this due to it being a big thing when Bill was fighting the giant Mystery Shack, Discord is literally friends with unicorns. I also wanted to add that Bill can be physically hurt as seen as him getting his eye sprayed and ripped out during Weirdmaggeton, Discord has never been physically hurt and can't be as seen whenever King Zombra blasted him and Discord pretended to be hurt but was actually completely unharmed. And the last thing I'd like to point out is that Discord's physical body wasn't destroyed by Starlight, she simply put a spell that prevented his physical body from entering the school, so he decided to enter it as a ghost. Death Battle really didn't do their homework.
