Your not wrong I'm already on my 8th or ninth SMD kit and none of them work. The last one I assembled worked perfectly for 30 minutes and when I returned from a coffee break it was no longer working. I'd love to know which component failed? Was it a IC? The 555 timer? Maybe one of the caps? Anyway that's what I'll try next. Diagnosing components and desoldering. 🤔 I just woke up after a rough night.
I think the LEDs are fine, still I could be wrong. I'll check them later or tommorow. I'm okay on THT but on SMDs not so good. I'm trying hard to improve. I guess only practice and time will improve my skills. Thanks for the comment amigo.👍 I'm working on my last diy psu kit video. I suddenly feel tired and I'm nodding off. I might leave this till tomorrow as I have eaten yet. Chat later amigos. 🙂
Oh before I go. One question. The D1047 transistor- does it need a rubber spacer? I have not put one on anyone of my diy psu kits. I hope that's okay. The last thing I want is to cause a short to ground or some other problem. 🤔
Great job, there. SMD is tricky & takes practice.

LED's can be damaged real easy.. looks like nice solder work
