    Fun fact: when I was a kid, I bought the original gameboy game from a flea market. The seller told me that the game would last me for a lifetime. There was some truth to it, as I found out at home that the game was in German with no way to change the language...

      Thats because german is able to combine multiple words into one longer word.

    • @liamwhite3522
      @liamwhite3522 4 года назад +8

      Well, aren't long german words just multiple other words strung together? If you can get the same meaning across in 5 words with about 8 letters each on average, or 1 word that's 40 letters on average, you still save time from not having spaces.

      RNG manipulation. Something to do with the library, I think.

    • @UraYukimitsu
      @UraYukimitsu 4 года назад +1

      A few things like the Wind Fish egg path and the D4 tiles pattern are randomly generated when you first start the game on the Switch version - I assume the path is randomized so you can't skip the trading quest - but he knows the path because of his RNG manipulation at the beginning of the run

    • @lychenthrope
      @lychenthrope 4 года назад +1

      The path in the egg is based on which seed the game sets at the beginning. It's all RNG for it to line up like that, but when running the game they listen to Link's grunts in the beginning (as that tells the player which seed they're on) so the run stays on one consistent path. If they don't have the correct seed, the path memorization in the egg is useless, and therefore, they'd need to reset. I hope this helped!
