Didnt Elton john hate madonna for years. It got really bad. I think they are cool now too. I'm sure elton hated as an english man her with that British fake accent. This was a woman who used to talk like a trash bag in the 80s. Madonna cant hold a candle to cher. Madonna is like someone who used to just do shock stunts like her book or being naked in the street or humping the stage in a wedding gown at the mtv awards. Then she just became this aging woman desperately trying to hang on to fame & her sex appeal. Cher is an icon of true talent. Madonna could not act her way out of a paper bag while cher has an oscar & 4 separate decades with at least one number 1 hit.
I think Elton John’s issues with Madonna are more about his own pettiness and internal problems. I doubt it’s personal. He seems jealous and a little bit crazy. I don’t think he ever had a problem with her until her song won the Golden Globe and his lost.
