Hope this story is true and becomes a reality coz we dont have a single MRF in our inventory now and all we have are the FA-50's (block 10)which are essentially attack aircrafts with limited capabilities.
These wouldn’t be superhornets, if the are from Canada they would be the Legacy Hornets which is the a & b model I do believe. I don’t think Canada ever got the superhornets but I know they used legacy hornets up until a few years ago and may still use some!
MRF ( Multi Role Faasa-kapa) ayun ang up for tender or bidding. Our national government isn't really that interested in defending our country, they spend too much resources on 2 departments, DEP-ED & DPWH, for this year alone these two received a "whopping" P 1.7 to P 1.8 TRILLION PESOS or around $ 30 BILLION DOLLARS in budget and what did DND get? Just P 235+ BILLION PESOS. According to a news article a couple of years back, it says that about 70% to 73+ % of the AFP's budget yearly goes to personnel wages, allowances, combat pays, administrative functions, etc., so there's nothing much left to buy "big ticket weapons systems." Our president and congress should do their role in properly funding the AFP/DND by adopting the generally accepted 2% of GDP Defense spending yearly while there's still time left.
@@arsenioalba6198 No one in the the philippines except our military and us the few thousands of military & defense enthusiast truly understand the level of threat our red colored neighbor is posing, few too understand that our military is by no means not ready face off with the red giant simply because our arsenal is too few and too weak, after all, a solid majority of our citizens still has that belief that bravery is the key to victory, where in fact it's not.
We are very eager that these super hornets will bought by our country soonest because chinas action against west phil sea is already at its alarming and dangerous stage.
