I'm 6'6" and 220 pounds and have been shopping at Salvation Army for years. It's not as hard to find clothes as people think. Shirts are a breeze - they have everthing from boys to XXXL. Pants,,, a little tougher since I have a skinny waist and long legs, but I do find a pair from time to time. The last time I got jeans, a shirt and hoodie, I spent less than ten bucks - and yes, they were new to me.
Exactly, I shop at amvets, never walked out empty handed and always felt good about it.
It’s tough to find blue jeans with an inseam over 34” anymore. Doesn’t usually matter how big around you are, but it sure matters how long your legs are.
@@ralfie8801 I did my growth spurt as a freshman in HS and discovered that only a few brands offered 36" inseams. I ended up with many pants that we used to ca,, "high waters". Big and Tall shops really only catered to "Big" and the couple pair of Tall were 4X more expensive than regular sizes. Wrangler was a reliable source until a couple years ago, but they have cut back to mostly 34" inseams now. I guess people think your lower half stop growing - that its only from the waist up.

There's the reverse too. Go into an Abercrombie & Fitch (aimed at 20s first) or Hollister (aimed at teens) you'll see people with normal bods or belly's can't make it fit. They were specifically designed for deep chest flat stomach broad shoulders.. average guys find it hard to make it fit

Ritchson has presented the character Reacher as a highly intelligent, uncomplicated and honest, and very capable man with a quirky sense of humor.
Reacher is not the moody, surly, unhappy anti-hero we have become accustomed to. Reacher is, at heart, a gentle, happy, mentally healthy man who can flip his switch into a true sonofabitch if that's what it takes.
A refreshing and compelling character...... I like the, admitedly unrealistic, idea that there may be people like this walking among us.

I love the books. But the dash of humanity and humor the producers( and Lee Child) added to this version of Reacher makes him special. Reacher is described as "Feral" and A sociopath . This Reacher is a man with a plan to live his life as he wants. But he will never abandon someone in trouble. I look forward to season 3
That’s why I personally dig the character of Reacher. The freedom to live life on your own terms. No attachments of any kind and only answer to yourself.
Except he's not really living his life. He's running. It's a subtext of the novels.

I absolutely loved this show, for lots of reasons but mostly because of the chemistry and dialogue between Reacher and Roscoe. Looking forward to season 2!
Roscoe won't be in Season 2. If you read the books...new town that needs visiting, new person that needs saving, new bad guy(s) that need killing, new hot chick that needs banging...rinse and repeat.

I have to say that if you've read the book, the whole experience with the episodes is just like reading the book and is straight on downright awesome in that the show is exactly like you read in the book in an excellent visual action!

Except in the book the guys who attack Reacher in the bathroom are skinheads and it's the rest of the black guys from earlier who send Reacher out so they can take credit for the damage done to the skinheads. The bent guard finds them in their cell and quickly brings them to where they were supposed to be.

Love the Reacher books and Reacher series does the book justice !
If you’ve never read the books, the Tom Cruise movies are entertaining enough. If you’re familiar with the source material, it makes you wonder about Hollywood casting process.
Once you’ve seen this interpretation and casting, though, Tiny Tom will never measure up.
I can not believe anyone thought Tom Cruise could play this part.
But he did , years before Ritchson, and if it were not for the success of his character this series would never have happened.

Every American high school will have a half dozen guys pretty much his size every year. You might be trading fat for muscle, but six two/three and 3XL isn't that unusual.

To all the women out there, this is how to shop. You walk into a store, see what you want, pick it up, if necessary, try it on, pay and then leave.
A thrift shop -- to pick up what you need, without having to think twice about the cost.
When my daughter was young, l told her l shopped by the 3G concept. I already knew what l was going to get, where to get it, and how much it cost. The only thing left was the 3G. Get in, Get it, and Get out. She remembers that to this day.

I notice that Tom Cruise stopped playing this role in the movies. That's because Ritchson OWNS this role.
Lee Child sold the film rights but had a clause that following the production of two films they needed his OK to continue. He stated Tom Cruise was too mature for any more Reacher movies and stopped any more being done.
