What do you call a cow after a couple of shots of espresso?
Beef jerky.
"Dad, were you shot in the army?"
"No, I was shot in the leggy."
Bree's nosy neighbor is actually the singer of both "Phantom Liberty" and "Edgerunners" end credit songs.
this quest there at the start is really cool. Cyberpunk at it's crazy best.
V would have more luck with tech pistols if she read the manuals first. The last tech pistol, she was upset about it not shooting through walls; the manual said it sacrificed that ability for incendiary rounds. This tech pistol shot through walls with no charge up; charging it instead gave full auto.
Not reading the manual, is that V or more Gopher controlling her? 😅
@@PerfectAlibi1 With the way Gopher roleplays you can never be sure. He's playing this V as all about the smart weapons, so he could be intentionally playing her as clueless about tech weapons. Or he might be legitimately missing the details because he's busy juggling the roleplaying, the camera work, and keeping narrative coherent.
Vehicle hacking is one of the most frustrating additions to 2077. It's a really cool and interesting idea, but so many vehicles are hack immune that it's almost not worth it. Also, I've noticed that you and I had the same problem with our first PL run, where I was always forgetting that you can always shoot from the driver's seat now.
Oh I never forgot that, I just never really saw the point as a netrunner. I mean it would be easy, because of the smart weapons .... but hacking them is easier :)
And yeah, I also hate unhackable enemies too. People like Woodman and Maiko .... those were very annoying.
@@GophersVids I guess it was just me forgetting then, heh. I played so much 1.6 that I forget the gunning feature exists.
Yes, the sheer number of exceptions the game adds to hacking makes it feel really bad to play sometimes.
I someho missed the episdoe where the president was saved. oh well.
Great LP so far of cousre
That's right at the start of the let's play.
the song in the background at 4:33 triggered some feelings for a portion of the audience
What song? I don't hear it...
Looks like there’s a bug Gopher’s running into with the computers in this episode with the screens being all blank? Should've been able to read messages on the computer in Bree’s apartment and the old one in the Militech facility.
i had that bug in the mission to calm down delamain, was annoying as heck, but at least i recognised it as a bug as gopher could use the computers in his playthrough. he had no chance here tho
He ran in to that recurring bug where he can't loot containers as well. He's ran into that one several times during this playthrough.
I really hope blocking/blurring profanity does the trick for the whole demonetization thing. Good luck ♥
It always gives me a laugh when you refer to the Caliburn as an Excalibur. Makes complete sense and, it your defense, Rayfield should've known better than to use both names to describe different vehicles.
Bree´s story is set up to get some kind of follow-up, imo. Either in a patch-expansion or in the next game. Maybe there´s already more to it than I remember and I just completely forgot... oh well 😄
"I can't help feeling that I'm missing something" .... Well maybe you will finish the DLC like I did, and never get the consequences LOL
Did gopher finish the main story? I stopped watching a while ago but will jump back into it..jus wanna know if he finished the main story before starting the dlc
Nah he’s done everything except meeting hanako at embers
Main story still ends the game :)
Is that the best way to do it or is it better to do dlc earlier@@mattatattat508
@@gregorB92 Difficult question, but I'd say do it before trying to find Hellman IF you wan't to get more use out of the new relic perks, the new cyberware, and the new car missions. From a narrative point of view, if you follow Takemura's questline and the Judy/Evelyn questline that leads to the Voodoo boys you will naturally 'stall' Takemura's questline in a way that feels natural AND as you finish the Voodoo Boys missions the DLC will trigger and you will have a good reason to ignore looking for Hellman for a while. This let's you get some of the new DLC related features earlier and still feels perfectly reasonable. The disadvantage to that approach is once you're done and you go back to the main quest, you will once again reach the point of no return with a fair number of quests like Johnny's and Kerrys left to do. The Johnny quest makes sense to do before the end, but the Kerry questline (and a few others) need some time afterwards, and honestly, you'll feel narrative pressure to do the final quest instead.
The other option is to leave the Voodoo Boys quest line until last (out of the three main quest lines) and basically start the DLC with more or less everything else done. The DLC quests give gaps for you to do other things, so you should be able to the Johnny and Kerry questlines whilst doing the new DLC stuff. So there's pros and cons either way.
