@@Aliisho Hi. I am 2 months post op now. Honestly once you are able to eat more at the regular foods stage it gets better. I never thought I would get there but it finally came. You must find things to do throughout the days to take your mind off of it. This is not easy by any means... I try to tell people before they have this surgery to make sure you do your research of what to expect afterwards because I didn't and found out the hard way. Just try to stay busy and make a schedule for yourself. Sugar free jello and popsicles helped a little. I also had strained soups. Bear Creek chicken noodle and cheddar brocolli soups are delicious. Just strain them. They are at Publix, Walmart, Food lion & Amazon. Just hang in there because really that's all we can do. You will be able to eat a little more with time. Feel free to message me whenever you want. 💓
Hello friends, I am due for surgery in 2.5 weeks, any suggestions and must how's to get through the first week or two? I am really nervous about this whole thing and how I possibly get 900-1200 kcal of food in p/day. Any and all suggestion would greatly be appreciated.

It's normal to feel hungry after surgery, but be patient with yourself and stick to the diet plan. Have you tried smaller, more frequent meals throughout the day? Make sure to also stay hydrated and follow up with your doctor regularly for any concerns.
Omg I am 15 days post op and I’m going crazy 😭😭 I’m on liquid diet and haven’t been able to even start purée unless it’s mash potatoes. I can’t keep soups or creamy soups down because I’ll just throw up. Is this normal??

I was on stage 2 right after surgery
That's great to hear! How has your progress been since then?
I am 3.5 years post op. What is the general recommended diet for me?
Very informative! Thanks for the video!
Glad it was helpful!
Oh no I ate brócoli florets. Chewed really well hope I'll be ok. I did tolerate it well
This seems like so much to keep up with.
It might seem overwhelming at first, but those are necessary adjustments for post-op care. Have you tried any meal planning strategies?
I m always hungry! Been this way since a week after surgery, why? I thought that would be taken away with surgery.
I feel your pain. I am 5 days post op. I'm starving. Everyone keeps saying it will get better. 😤
Right there with you!
Did any of you get better? Im 4 days post op with alot of hunger and some pain still

Oohhh mashed potatoes are the biggest no no
Mash potatoes is carbs stay away from this
Have you trying eating so slowly and the consistency of apple sauce ?
In stage 3 can we add sweet potatoes?
No sweet potatoes. Can cause a lot of gas
Sweet potatoes have too much sugar and carbs
Col flower makes my stomach hurt
What about crackers?
Hot peppers 🌶
Eat first then drink water
I can drink decaf coffee?
She said you can have decaf coffee within the first minute of the video🙄
It causes acid reflex
On bariatric pal they sell acid free coffee ground and whole bean ☺️
