    Dr. Abs I much appreciate your content, but would you please consider NOT adding music below your speech? It's very distracting and doesn't really add anything, in terms of production value. I know YT itself has been pushing their catalog with muzak, and every second content creator now adds it below their speech, instead of using it to bridge the gaps (if any exist) between talking segments. One third of people are auditory learners, and for us it's particularly annoying, but others (like myself) are not native speakers. A substantial number of people have hearing issues, and for these people the added noise (and that's how it is mainly processed) isn't exactly a joy either. If anyone would like to listen to music, there's so much quality music to be found on youtube and elsewhere: that's not what we are here for? Thank you for your consideration, and please don't take offense.

    I appreciate your content. I listened to all of your videos about led and am interested in purchasing one now.
    A new one from a big RUclipsr who is also a doctor in aesthetics recently hit the market and the marketing and his videos explaining it sounded promising - no heat, correct wavelengths, etc. But I was surprised the customer service would only give me the joules and then refuse to answer any other questions. Even when I told them my negative experience with another mask they wouldn’t give me any info on how they were different.
    They claimed to be patented but wouldn’t even tell me what was unique via the patent - the mask design, the bulbs, etc.
    It gets good reviews online but I’m going to save my money if they refuse to answer questions about the product. He had some other interesting looking products too but they unfortunately lost a purchase.

    What about the current body one ? I bought one , and it works , when i cut myself whith a razor blade, it heals faster. ( Its my experience).
    In the comments , i see that you might promotote the dermalux.. However this machine can be quite dangerous with the blue wavelength..I dont know if you mention it.
    Is it the goal to have more radiance. we clearly know that some masks gives more energy ? but is the goal ? some people wants just reducing inflammation, maybe?
    Moreover , is there a scientific consensus about redlight and its dangers ? I'm not a scientific, but if you are pragmactic: it boost cells production => boost the risk of mutations => and cancer .. => If no one gives me a clear answer, i dont think i miss a lot to buy a mask which emits less radiance and using it less frequently.
    Moreover in one video you say that moisturizers are useless.. However, if you have a good amount of emollient in your mosturizer, or if you put , your humectants before your oil, the humectants should be trapped.
    I must admit that im doubting about your content. Maybe you should be more clear, give more studies( facts, possible consequences , and what is about your opinion) , give an analysis of the product directly.
    I m more lost now than before...
    It is just a feedback, and i share my insecurities, dont take it personally.
    Thank you, for your videos even so. You still open my mind on a set of issues about health.

    • @Dr_Abs

      I suppose you could think of pulsed light as led that goes off every few seconds or whatever the interval is. • @Dr_Abs

      No because the number increasing introduces a new issue of thermal management which they haven't solved. The LEDs themselves also have less accurate spectral widths compared to something like the dermalux. This is a fact and something even theraface cant deny

      Also, I was just looking at the Theraface clinical trial. i dont see any safety issues reported and they do show a statistically significant improvement on several metrics related to skin appearance. Would love your thoughts on that study. Do you know if Dermalux home has a clinical trial completed on their device? I can also call them and ask.

    • @Dr_Abs
      @Dr_Abs  9 месяцев назад

      It's not a safety issue - it's an issue of getting what you pay for. When excess heat builds up and disrupts optimal functioning, by the time you're towards the end of treatment it's barely doing anything because optical intensity is reduced so much. Dermalux maintains peak output start to finish time after time which can be proved which is why I use it.
      The spectral width speaks about the ability to actually produce the wavelength Intended. For instance it might say 633nm on the box but it could be putting out a load of 590nm because it's so inaccurate. Whereas in Dermalux, I know the worst I'll get is 631 or 635 (+/-2nm).
      The fact that many companies don't publish stats like this are a clear and obvious sign to qualified people like myself that it's a load of rubbish. Unfortunately the general public don't know, which is why I make videos like this 😊

    • @Dr_Abs
      @Dr_Abs  9 месяцев назад

      The 'study' by theraface is laughable. All dependent variables were measured subjectively and no proof was provided by way of histological analyses. This is typical of a company that puts more into marketing than science and tries to fool the public with it in my opinion.

    • @Dr_Abs
      @Dr_Abs  9 месяцев назад

      Medical CE is what you want to look for, not CE. Cellular doesn't make sense to me - they talk about needing less distance but the body doesn't are about distance because photoreceptors dont react differently based on how far the radiation has come from. Therefore the only real metric there that's needed is power and it has much less than dermalux

    • @stevenbaker8816
      @stevenbaker8816 6 месяцев назад

      @@Dr_Abs your not taking into account the inverse square law, if you are positioned too far away from the light source the energy of light reduces as the photons travel through space, it's physics. • @Dr_Abs

      I have taken it into account. You haven't taken into account the ability of the receptor to respond independently. The law also doesn't link to opticians distribution.
