Liquid Stranger releases The Renegade Crusade ep on Interchill April 15th 2014 along with a dimension warping video for the track The Gargon from Australian artist Andy Thomas aka Android. Liquid Stranger's work on Interchill has run from deep and intricate electronica to heavy dubs and glitchy mid tempo exotica. The five tracks on the ep show- case the more chilled and cosmic side of his recent work, and Liquid Stranger's signature style of full bass, melodic mastery and impeccable production shines through.
The ep kicks of with Spawn; a tripped out trip hop track with elastic beats and analogue melodics. Then we morph into the realm of The Gargon; heavy, half-time, otherworldly and fully blissed out with a heartbeat foundation that supports a glittering weave of melody and detail. Space and complexity co-exist in harmony and Liquid Stranger makes the lead lines sing. Next up we are back to familiar territory with a stripped down and chunky remix of The Molecule Man, which originally introduced The Arcane Terrain album. Again, each element has space to feature and breathe in the mix. Then we have Brace For Impact, where Canadian DJ and vocalist Saratonin sings with beatboxing from Honeycomb to create a breathtaking tune, made entirely from vocals and giving some light and contrast to the ep. Lastly, things get downright cosmic and futuristic on Dreamer Deluxe, with Razza guesting on vocals and some of the best chord chang- es ever recorded. Never one to repeat himself, Liquid Stranger sets the bar high and once again shows that when it comes to musicality and production he has no equal.

how is it possible that this happened when i just came out of an acid trip? i go on youtube after this long journey to listen to liquid stranger in a daze and mentally worn out, and find this an hour after it was posted. liquid stranger, you have always been there for my trips, and changed my life, and this just feels like it was made for me. your music and this has a huge affect on my life thank you so much for all of this. keep posting more videos like this please and music like this (but do not forget about the infusion mix all those songs need to be released!)

Liquid Stranger, I really think this is incredible, I am officially moved. Both the song and the video are just on such a higher plane than I ever knew existed. I just listened to the radio interview on your soundcloud from a few years ago, and then watched this, it's just mind blowing and inspiring as hell to see what you've become, not that you weren't also great back then. Keep it up man, and thank you sincerely for transforming my brain with this masterpiece.

This is one of these songs that seems quite simple, as you listen to it the first time and superficial. But when listening to it more often and when focusing on the details you always find something new. At some parts of this song I percieve like 10 melodies at the same time. Especially when high.

Amazing tune, but there was this other song by Liquid that was like this but more on the dub side of the spectrum, and had a female vocal sample "Goodbye" before the drop, and the breakdown in the middle of song was just the sub bassline. I cannot find it anywhere :(

more psilocybin than lysergic acid for me. lsd gives me anxiety attacks sometimes. however I love the trip. however, mushrooms soothe my anxiety and teaches me something new each time. and I have a blast while doing so.
